Always fast to pickup. Easy to book and drop off is swift. I have used them several times for rentals and the pricing is good too. I do tend to chase discounts and like I said I have used them several times because they are usually the most competitive.

The car and the service was great! Great value for the price paid.

Absolute shambles! I hired a car for 6 weeks and they claimed I had caused damage to the vehicle in Queenstown but when I looked back on photos taken by them damage already existed on the car. Staff on site deliberately showed me misleading photos claiming I was at fault and took £750 from my credit card without my consent. They refused to give me a refund after sending them a polite email, so I had to go via my bank to get the money back which I consequently won. I would never recommend such a shambles of a place and staff speak in Chinese in front of customers and can barely speak English.

Our pickup was on a Saturday morning. There was only one person on duty in the office, so it took an eternity for him to process the person ahead of me, who unfortunately hadn't done any on-line checking in. It has put us off using Yes again, as we don't want to risk a repeat.

Car was perfect, a tidy little runabout, perfect for parking and inner city driving ( this was my rental purpose, staying in CBD, visit the suburbs). Not flash, it has the basics.

For a little car (Toyota aqua) it was really spacious and very economical.

Definitely come back again, fast admin time, no long wait periods. Good systems in place.

I had a terrible experience with Yes Rentals and feel compelled to share it to warn others.

I was given a rental car that had three tyres not meeting legal/safety standards. Predictably, one tyre blew out while I was driving in a remote area. When I called their support line, I was told to use a tyre sealant and then drive 200 miles to their main centre — despite me clearly stating the tyre was completely undrivable.

Their only alternative was for me to find and visit a tyre shop myself, and they said they’d only cover the cost of the tyre — not the service or any other expenses. The person on the phone was completely unhelpful, showed no real concern for my safety, and had no practical solutions.

This left me stranded — to deal with a dangerous situation on my own. Their lack of responsibility and empathy was appalling.

I would strongly advise against using Yes Rentals. Safety and support should be a given with any rental company, and sadly, that was not the case here.

This is the second time I've used Yes Rentals and I'll use them again. Great service, great cars, reasonably priced. 5 stars

We returned our rental car late but Sharon patiently waited for us. She is cheerful, caring and very helpful.
