Problem solved, but took a while to get through to the right people.

I have been with Zzoomm for over 2 years and until recently had I no issues at all. After renewal I was put on a CG-NAT(shared ip), without being informed, which had a bad effect on gaming etc.

I contacted Zzoomm who were easy get in touch with, but getting the problem resolved took longer than I was told to expect (12 days). Once I was finally in contact with the true tech team, the service received was very good.

Matt from Zzoomm's tech team was the person to resolve my issue(thank you) and the email I received the day before from Scott also helped.

My 5* rating reflects the support received from these 2 people only and the fact my problem is now sorted.

Zzoomm customer care

The first contact with the company by telephone was not good as I kept getting cut off, also it was very difficult to hear what the customer care assistant was saying because of loud background noise. After four attempts I was lucky enough to speak to Jesson, who was very helpful and patient and sorted out the problem.

Had zzoomm as a broadband provider…

Had zzoomm as a broadband provider which was full of issues over time. Never reached the potential they brag about and was generally an inconvenient broadband. Always having problems. Decided to terminate the service and go to EE. Returned the router in a prepaid envelope that they supplied. Trying to charge me for the router now as they say "they haven't received it" and want me to go out of my way to prove it after consistently poor service. Avoid at all costs, really NOT worth the hassle that comes with it!!

PC won't recognise router/network

PC is upstairs and Router downstairs. I explained this to Dale the sales person who said it shouldn't be a problem. From day one it has been a problem with unstable connection and the promised 200 mbps is down to 10 mbps. Previously with Plusnet this was around 30 mpbs which although not brilliant was fairly stable and ok. I've spoken with one technician who couldn't sort the problem and told me she'd escalate it but it would take 3 days to respond. 3 bloody days is not good enough in my opinion. Today in an attempt to find the problem I've had to dismantle and bring my PC downstairs to do a hardwire speed test by Ethernet. I tested the Wifi and this had improved up to 40 mbps but on the hard wired connection it was 238mbps and 908 mbps upload which I thought was outstanding. Then the technician made some changes and now my PC won't even recognise the Zzoomm router. I had a busy day ahead and this has just wrecked my plans. Not good enough Zzoom.
