The quote I was given was £120 for an hours work to clear a drain pipe. When the plumber arrived he quoted £420 with VAT. He said the original quote was the call out charge. It was not refunded and it took less than an hour to clear the blockage. Total spent £540.

Fantastic service today. We had a blocked sink, and an issue with the shower.

The plumber arrived at the flat in good time. Let us know he was on his way. Very understanding about our very unique situation.

Communication from start to finish was excellent. Dean was superb at keeping me informed at every stage and identified the issue quickly. He was also excellent at offering backup solutions to resolve the issue. Polite and friendly a real pleasure to interact with. 0800 HomeFix will be my go to firm from now on.

Luke rang me to let me know he would be with me in 30 mins which he was. Very professional, got straight on with the job, Luke explained to me what would need to be done & once I agreed, Luke got on with the work. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Many thanks.

Leaky loo needed fixing fast. Luke arrived next morning, diagnosed the problem as a blocked drain. He tried unblocking with chemicals and a plunger, which did not work. I was given an on the spot quote for a camera/brush investigation. A lot of drilling later, problem hopefully solved. Luke explained everything as he worked, and cleaned up afterwards. Altogether cost me £864, including vat, which seems a lot. The company was very keen for immediate payment, probably due to bad experiences.

Very easy to arrange a suitable time for the repair. James and Danny did the job professionally and quickly, and left the bathroom clean and tidy.

Paid £120 for a callout to fit a customer-supplied sink and tap — a straightforward job. Was quoted £850 + VAT (£1,020 total) for the labour. Got the same job done properly elsewhere the next day, in under 2 hours, for £203.

Raised it with their admin team, who refused to refund the callout fee despite the quote being nearly 5x market rate. Feels like the callout fee is the real business model here, not the plumbing. Wouldn’t recommend.

Called them as I had a toilet that kept running water. I was told the cost would be £120 and that the plumber would have the parts in his van. two days later I had the same problem so called them back. They then quoted me and extra £318 to fix the problem. Which I told them was a rip off. I ask for my money back as no work had been carried out or the name of their public liability insurers. Hence they have now gone silent. Now I have to find another plumber to do the works. What an a lot of rubbish excuses. ended up paying another £175 to get it fixed still cheaper that 0800Homefix

Arranged a routine service with Homefix for our boiler - their service, from the very helpful call team staff like Charlotte to their excellent site engineer Kevin, was nothing but the most professional. We were incredibly lucky to have Kevin as our engineer, he was greatly experienced and found several issues with the current installation in the service. He then fitted a new installation to an exceptional degree. We were in safe hands with Kevin and Homefix - could not recommend them more!
