The plumber himself was great and solved the problem however the information provided on the phone was highly misleading. We were quoted a £49 call out fee with no mention of ‘emergency attendance’ which is amalgamated with the labour charge (£251) as well as inspection and diagnosis (100).
A greedy and misleading company.

I have been booked in this company Not emergency drainage cleaning for different day ( more than 24 hours) and by email they confirmed that it's not emergency price- 289£ for less than 10 min drainage cleaning. Technician only pushed twice drainage rod, and job was done. After I wrote to their support team, not helpful at all. They only repeat about professional Tools - which cost 31£ in the shop. I found exactly that technician who done our job, and he told what he would charge for the same job 120£ . Also, this company never says how much it will cost before job, you will only find out after the end of all the work. Please avoid. They double the technician price. Please Avoid !!!

DO NOT USE! Had a leak coming from the bathroom, was told £49 call out charge, the guy was here 1.5 hours, cut a hole in my ceiling and couldn’t find the leak and charged £424! Asked for a full breakdown, and was invoiced as labour! Absolute scammers! Tried emailed calling, next thing will be getting refund from my bank!

This company should not be operating.
Misleading by advertising with local number. Sent a plumber who was in the house 20 mins and only did a temporary job.
Then charged £300 and if not paid would sent debt collector.
STAY CLEAR i have emailed about them as i cannot see how they operate legally

I would rate less than 1 star if I was able to. I was told a £49 call out fee to look at a boiler in my place of work. I wasn't given any information on hourly rate etc. The electrician went to site and the total bill was £429. He didn't supply any parts and didn't even repair the boiler properly and the very next day we got someone else to look at it. I have queried this and received an auto response - 'emergency, job carried out etc etc'. The invoice was a very poor, unprofessional, none VAT (?) invoice that consisted of 2 lines. I've asked for a breakdown of the visit - which I did get - without a date of the visit, no VAT details etc - I have queried this with them and am waiting for a reply. Read the other reviews as they all say the same thing. Our usual electrician charges £79 call out (slightly more of course) but then £35 an hour......this SCAMMER is charging £190 an hour. DO NOT USE THEM.

Scam company - Don't use it! They are not clear with prices! - really a scam company !

Not up front about the cost at all - once engineer has been you have no choice but to pay it - they feed off you being in an emergency situation .
The company relies on customers recommending and using again but what they don’t realise is that they are just introducing customers to good local plumbers. I would never use them again due to there lack of clarity on price .

Omg I should have read review . This people are the worse . I called to get my pantry door open and was told £40 call out . And after the work I was giving £140 bill just to get my door opened ???? I am going to write review every where I can . This people should be investigated . They are thieves . And they were so rude .

Asked £49 for consultation and would refuse to give me estimate price. Saw the reviews now of people getting ripped off..

The engineer did not know the job assigned to him, nor did he try to address it while on site, not even giving the engineering options available, yet the company insists their call-out charges to be paid lest they would release debt collectors after me.

At 67 I should have known better than to employ an emergency plumbing service without checking the company out first.

I’m selling my mother’s house and needed a kitchen tap replacing. I called this company who told me about the £49 call out charge but said the plumber charged an hourly rate plus materials.

Well I bought the new tap from B&Q for £35. The plumber took less than 1 hour to fit and the company charged £389.

I was mugged.

Avoid at all costs.

Called by my niece to unblock a toilet. £49 advertised call out charge. Engineer did work then sat in home until office called my niece to inform her of her £500 bill! Engineer refused to leave until bill paid. Called company to complain and they informed me that he had jetted the toilet air then put acid down it so nothing to actually fix the issue as niece was informed it was old and had some “dodgy pipes”! Also was told he had to travel for two hrs to get to her so not a local company at all. Thieves basically

My main criticism of this company is the charges. £345:00 for a simple job to tighten connectors in the pipe work. The plumber replaced a connector, which would cost a few pence and added £20:00 to the bill!
It was an emergency call out as the pipe was leaking badly but it was a call at 8:30am on a weekday and not in the middle of the night. The person that took the phone call said I would be contacted in 1-1.5 hours, this just about happened but then I had to wait another 2 hours ( with the plumber saying he would be with me in 50 minutes ).
After he’d left I received an email with the invoice. 20 minutes later I received a phone call demanding payment.
The whole operation is a rip off, how can these costs be justified ?
However, the emergency has been fixed, I believe the plumber was competent. He was courteous and polite.

⭐☆☆☆☆ ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING EXPERIENCE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I was initially told there were two service options available:

A 2-hour window for an engineer to attend

A scheduled appointment based on my availability

Due to limited availability on my end, I requested a scheduled appointment. Despite this, I received a call from the engineer saying he would be 45 minutes to an hour late. Since the agreed time no longer worked for me, I had no choice but to cancel.

What followed was disgusting communication from the company. I contacted them to confirm the cancellation, only to be told I was still required to pay the call-out fee—even though they failed to meet the agreed time.

I was then transferred to the billing manager, who was incredibly rude, dismissive, and refused to acknowledge that the company was at fault. There was no prior notice that the engineer would be late, and yet they placed full blame on me.

To make things worse, I was threatened with debt collection, and the billing manager hung up on me. When I called back asking to speak to a higher manager, that request was denied repeatedly. Instead, I was met with more threats and had the call disconnected again.

This is a company that clearly does not value customers, honour agreements, or accept responsibility for their own failures. Appalling service and completely unacceptable behaviour. I strongly urge others to steer clear.

Scammers! They should be in jail! Total ripoff. Engineer spend 20 min to clean pressure valve and they charged me 429£. That’s my weekly wage. I’m still in shock.Robbing people

To change a fuse that cost £3,50 ..charged £209, did not get the fuse and charged anyway ..and they wanted another £400 to come back and change the fuse ..... please do not call this people and report to police , do not pay please Scammers

Absolutely awful would NEVER recommend

Pressured into booking the appointment in the first place - advised £50 call out charge, I asked about rest of the price and advised it was upon work needed, fair enough.
Advised electrician would be there within the hour instead it was 2 and a half hours to which I had to pick my brother up to sit in the house as I needed to be somewhere.
Phoned the electrician to inform him there may be a 5/10 minute wait until I get back (of course I was still happy to pay for his waiting time)

He was really friendly and advised he was a sub contractor for the company.
He came in - looked - switched the oven off at the switchboard - done. He was in the house for 10 minutes. That’s it. He turned the oven off, that’s it.

The company then phoned for payment which was £473 !!!! Nearly £500 to turn an oven off! Obviously I was never going to pay this insane mark up and advised they failed to mention the £400 per hour labour charge despite having such a cheap call out charge

The entire company is a scam

The woman on the phone was rude and when advised I needed to speak to my partner and I will call them back at the end of the day to sort it and pay (when actually I think i am within my rights to wait to have received an invoice through before paying nearly £500 for my oven to be turned off) but they insisted on payment on the spot. I advised I needed to speak to my partner again to which I was told I wasn’t allowed to the leave the call.

I was then told the technician will not leave my property until payment is settled, as this point intimidation was clearly there tack tick and I will not be threatened by a company by that clearly lacks professionalism and the ability to run an overboard service. At this point I then advised if the electrician does not leave the property immediately that I will contact the police to which they tried to run it round on me and call the police on us instead for not paying and being hostile?

we were always happy to pay for the work done, but not £500 to turn an oven off.

Also the electrician had come from Leeds which I would have advised not to bother if made aware and go someone far more local.

I would have hated to be on my own in that situation as who knows what would have happened.

It’s a SCAM. Don’t even attempt to call them.
They would force you to book the appointment and tells you that they have best guys to do job and available 24*7
All fraud.

The most horrendous service. Made a booking within 5 mins I called to cancel after reading reviews. They refused point blank to cancel without me paying a call out fee, even though they hadn’t even allocated the job yet. They said if it wasn’t paid they would get debt collectors to my house. When the invoice got emailed they also added on VAT. Don’t touch them with a barge pole.

The contractor was nice. Gave me his direct card so may or may not call him directly in future, but same as everyone else. £49 call out, and £386 for a bit of silicone. F’ing mental.
