Had an electrical emergency (water leaking into fuse box) and did a rush job of trying to find an emergency electrician. These guys have a good website and 30 minute call out and local phone number so in my harried state went for it.

First issue was that I was clearly connected to a foreign call centre. Next issue was the £49 call out fee - that is a very cheap cost (clearly to reel people in). Then when I looked at the website, the copy is very poorly written, written by Ai or a non- English speaker.

Clearly this is a (likely) Chinese front company, and it was already an hour with no electrician in sight. I called to cancel the job and the woman started yelling at me down the phone that I couldn't cancel and they had already sent someone out (this was not true - the electrician contacted me after another 30 minutes saying he was still an hour away). Trading standard really need to get a grip on sham companies like this, they are such a waste of time and money. AVOID!

If I could give this company no stars I would. I booked a call out for a leaking shower. They told me it would be £49 I asked if I didn’t want the repair would I be changed anything else and they said no. The guys came quotes me £500 (could have just bought a new shower and it would have been cheaper) I declined for it to be fixed they have be a bill for £120. The guys was here less than 10mins. I complained they said it was a diagnostic fee, they didn’t tell me this when I asked them the price or if I would be charged anything else they said no. I complained they gave me 10% off my next repair. Told them I would never use them again and I wanted a refund, they refused asked for a manger they apparently don’t have managers or anyone else I could complain too. Didn’t even get an apology. I am going to take this further as there website says call out fee and engineer will quote you repair then goes on to say there are no hidden fees… lies. I will be complaining to teading standards and anyone else I can DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I wish I could give 0 star ! Scam ! Told you over the phone that it was £49 call out service . After engineer here for less than half hours , nothing was fixed the bill is £220 . labour for half hour cost £170 !!! I will report them to trading standard! Please avoid this company with any cost ! The girl one the phone called Grace ! I think she should be called disgrace instead ! Lair company !

Do not use this company, they are con men and scammers!!!
I had an emergency with my toilet, the mechanism inside the cistern needed replacing (no flush and water kept running)
Plumber arrived in a couple hours, fixed the toilet (although left scratches in the bath where he'd put the cistern) and cleaned up
He called the company, described what work he had done, and then the company rang me with the price for the job ( I know, all very strange, but it's a rip off, as I was about to discover) £400.00!
When I questioned the price, he said I could pay cash or transfer, got quite arsey, and put the phone down on me
Meanwhile the plumber is waiting to give me the details of company account, (he probably gets paid a fraction of that) absolute extortion/rip off
I don't know why they would do this, obviously will NEVER use them again!

So I've had a reply from the company apologising for ANY CONFUSION about the costs. There was no confusion and they were NOT transparent. I was told about the £49 call out fee, but not their extortionate rates, the plumber had no idea how much the job would cost as it was the company who gave him the job that decides how much they charge
Anyway, I was offered a discount on my next job 🤣 as a goodwill gesture! Obviously won't be taking them up on this offer. It is a shame, if they hadn't have robbed me in the first place, I might have actually used them again 🤷‍♀️

If I could select less than 1 star I would! Absolute Con / Scam - Please DO NOT use this company. £349 to stop a toilet flushing.. 15 min job. Demanding when I will pay the “invoice”…which is sent from a personal email; does not detail the work done; and includes no reference to payment terms. At this point it is too late as I am being told I have to pay, I asked for some time to sort my money…& later started to receive aggressive texts asking when the money was being transferred.
I phoned the company who were clearly “skilled” at dealing with this…as they simply didn’t care.
Not only did they take my money, but they ruined my day and left me feeling incredibly upset.
247 - do not respond with your standard message against other reviews here. Do something decent and respond with action - I.e refunding money.
Also - the flush isn’t even fixed properly!!!!!

I went to fit an LED replacement light in our bathroom, to find the fittings had changed, and I couldn't yet 3 plastic tabs to bite the wires. I called and the explanation was £39 call out plus labour charges. Electrician attended and had the light fitted in about 10 minutes, when he was there I said about 4 other LED swap outs with the same tabs, which he did at about 5 to 10 mins each, so was here an hour. The bill came through...£1025 which I disputed and they would not budget saying the costs explained up front. I said no Electrician charges £1000 an hour even on emergency call out rates. I asked the Electrician, he said he get £130 for the job. They charged me £25 for a connector used, which Electrician provided, which he said costs £1.50 which he would get back. The breakdown in bill is per job so £139 plus VAT per light (which cost £10 each). So not labour charges as explained at beginning. We paid due to having kids and wanting to keep them safe as the company are very dodgy. When speaking to them again about partial refund, with view of trading standards or going to court, they have no address, I rang a mobile, they rang back on different mobile, the invoice address is a different mobile. Still pursuing a legal route through trading standards and a solicitor but couldn't advise AVOID AVOID AVOID more. I actually feel for the Electrician who said the company make money off him sub working and thought it may even be as high as £300 but the job was really in total as £150 with all lights.

Unfortunately my brother discovered a leak under the kitchen sink of my flat while staying over that was causing water to spew all over the floor. It was effectively a torrent and didn't seem to be stopping so in a a panic he called this company to attend as I had gone out to the shops.

When he got through to me I had a quick Google and realised how horrendous the reviews were. I then called them to cancel the call out and went to get a local plumber so trusted as I managed to stop the water myself in interim.

When I called I got through to a woman who seemed pleasant until I told her we no longer needed their services. Things then changed very quickly as she insisted they needed to come out to 'check the work'. I said that wasn't needed and then she started insisting I pay a 50 pounds 'booking fee', something never mentioned when my brother called initially.

When I said 'what am I paying for, no one has come out, there's nothing to pay for' she kept insisting I paid. I responded 'what it I don't pay?' and she said word for word 'you wouldn't like to find out'. Shocked I asked did that constitute a threat and she immediately started trying to back down and then I hung up the phone.

Avoid, avoid, avoid - as a grown man I was not intimidated but I could easily see someone less confident in dealing with these situations being pressured into paying a fee for nothing.

Absolutely appalling company. This is an absolute con. I am kicking myself for not having done some research ahead of time. Had I seen these reviews, absolutely would not have used them.

I bungled changing out a light socket so I called the company based on what popped up in Google. The electrician changed out the light socket and then two more.

77 minutes overall and then I get hit with a...339GBP bill?!?! I could not believe my ears.

I called to complain and Liam was completely non-responsive. Obviously gets these calls frequently and is aware this is an absolute con.

It's on me that I didn't research a bit ahead of time, but hopefully no one else ever uses this company.

(I should note that the 3rd-party contractor was great...unfortunately, I imagine he is going to get a very small slice of that fat fee...).

Absolute con artists of the highest order. Called for an emergency drainage technician who called and told me they don't have the equipment for what I need and gave me the name of a company that do. I called them immediately and booked them to come out. This company then called me back off a different number trying to tell me they were on their way to fix the problem. I told them I'd already booked someone else on their advice and they told me I'd got to pay a 50 pound cancellation fee. When they are the ones that cancelled!!! Lady on the phone was rude and shouting at me trying to get me to give my 16 digits card number then hung up when I told her no.

I so wish I'd looked at Trust Pilot First. These guys have been sued for false and misleading reviews, which says it all.

I made a drip-drip leak under a hand sink far worse due to my own ineptitude! Had to turn the water off and but wasn't going to call a Plumber on a Sunday.

Monday comes around, usual plumber couldn't make it, so called these guys. As per other reviews, £50 for a timely response, which I was fine with. Lovely chap (3rd party contractor) rocks up and replaces a 6" right angled plastic pipe in less than 15 minutes.

He then calls "the office", who in turn ring me - first making sure I was happy with the service, then using that as an argument to demand £320!!!
What the actual hell? I made it abundantly clear they could take me to court instead, because I am NOT paying that price. So they dropped the call out charge... no, £270 is still unacceptable. Utterly disgusting.

They argued that they had to cancel the plumbers entire schedule to accommodate me. To which I said, "I never asked you to. You wanted £50 for a call out charge and I'm fine with that".

Anyway, long story short - the plumber was still sat in his van at this point and agreed the charge was extortionate; phoned his gaffer and I ended up paying £185 directly to them. Still steep, but whatever - better than £320.

Kitchen tap broke and water was spurtting out. Turned the water off and called these guys. Quoted £49 call out which seemed ok. Someone came out and took a look, (would question if they were even a plumber as I own a bigger tool bag). Came up with every excuse in the book why he couldn’t fix it including that he would need to remove the sink and could not get to the back of the cupboard. In the end said he could not do the job. He called the office and I was told I needed to pay £184 with labour and call out as it was Sunday and a holiday (Eid), for doing absolutely nothing!!! Didn’t even isolate the tap so I could use the rest of my water supply, I had to google this!! Plus to top it off I still needed to fix it. Got a plumber I’ve used before out the following day who charged £50 to fit a new tap. Guess what? He didn’t need to remove half the kitchen!!
Please, please, please don’t use these cowboys!!!
You don’t need any training to go into someone’s home and tell them you can’t do a job!
This company also falsely advertise themselves as a Checkatrade approved member. Checkatrade have confirmed that they are not.

***Update 27/06 **** There was no price quoted upfront by the “engineer” as “HE DID NO WORK!!”. The only price given was from 24/7 over the phone. As for a discount next time, why would I use them again when they can’t send a plumber who can change a tap?
They do not take “feedback” seriously as they have not listened to a word I have said and I got one email response fobbing me off, then completely ignored.

This is not feedback for the company, this is to prevent others being scammed by these con artists. My aim is to warn as many people as possible. Hopefully even on National TV

Disgusting service. £49 call out. Had a blocked drain. Contractors came with a white flexible hose that they blew down to dislodge. They didn’t resolve the issue and was told the charge would be £290, I refused, the then said £250, refused again. Ended up paying £200 for absolutely nothing!! Absolute scammers! I will be reporting to trading standards!!

What a set of thieves, i rang for a leaking pipe under the sink, i was told £49 call out which i thought ok.The plumber came and took approximately 30 mins to remove a small plastic pipe and replace with a copper one. I then received a phone call from the office and the lady said it would be £280 labour which i questioned but she tried to justify it. She told me they wanted a bank transfer which i couldn't do due to no internet , she wasn't happy i offered to pay by bank transfer the following day but she wanted it there and then and all of a sudden a card payment was ok. She said if you are paying by card you will also have to pay v.a.t which i would think needed paying either way. She charged £280 labour £49 call out £25 for a small pipe £70.76 v.a.t and £21.24 for paying by debit card???.Total bill came to £446 .This company needs investigating

I rang and was told it was £49 call out fee. Was advised they don’t charge by the hour only labour and parts. Guy arrived 2 hours later spent approx 1 min looked at the boiler then at circuit board in total approx 4 mins. He didn’t touch anything! I asked how much it would be I was told roughly £250 an hour could take at least 2 hours as he didn’t know what was wrong. I said I would leave it till next day. Boss came on the phone said I owed £150!!! He was rude and obnoxious said I was a liar and the £49 was a booking fee!!! I refused to pay the amount I did pay the guy £50 as initially agreed. Man on the phone rude, obnoxious!!! Do not use this company!!! I will be making an official complaint tomorrow!!!!

Since the his review I have made an official complaint to citizens advice who are passing it on to trading standards.

I am not able to give no stars. This company is a total scam.
I called the company because a leak, which was an emergency. Their Web site looked good and gave a good impression.
I was told there was a £49 call out charge and then I would have to pay for any parts and labour. I would have to pay by bank transfer before the plumber left. It was only a leak to the toilet cistern from the flexible hose. I didn't expect a huge bill!
Given that it was an emergency call out I guessed it could be about £200 or so.
The actual plumber was very nice and fixed the problem in about 30-40 minutes.
He called the company and they contacted me with the price of £639. I refused saying that it was ridiculous. After a discussion he said they could make it £480. I again refused. By now the man was getting a bit angry and very demanding. I offered to meet part way, suggesting £270. Eventually he said absolute bottom price of £380.
Under protest I paid this. All this time the plumber was standing watching. He said he could do nothing as they had placed the call to him. I am unsure of the relationship he had with the company.
All the time I was under pressure to pay. No arguments worked.
The Web site appeared like they were local. I am now sure they are not.
Avoid at all costs!

Please do not use. We didn’t go ahead with this company in the end, cancelled the job by phone before the engineer came out. We were then hounded with phone calls being told we still owed the £49 for just a phone call. The women was very aggressive and sounded like she was experienced in trying to put the pressure on customers to get them to pay. I sincerely hope no one else gets in touch as website looks legitimate.

Called for an emergency water leak repair on a toilet cistern. Was quoted "£49 call out plus any materials required". Plumber came after 1 hour (he said he was a "sub contractor". Took Less than 30 minutes to fix the problem. He called the office to get invoice cost & told £380 labour!!! Total bill was £429 for 30 minutes & a bit of PTFE tape. Total scam company. Avoid, very decieptful.

Extremely expensive! Did not inform about the costs except for £49 call out charge.

The engineer was very good though.

Phoned up for an emergency repair. Said it would be a £40 call out fee to have a look before seeing what parts would be needed. Said they would come at 11am. Phoned up 30 mins before arrival to say it would be an hour to two hours before they would arrive. Fours hours later they never turned up and we never heard anything. Looking at other reviews they are a SCAM. DO NOT USE.

When the plumber arrived he said “just to open The boiler and look is £180 “ and there, in an instant the price jumped to £249
The plumber they sent was very nice and polite and took 5 mins to extract air from the pipe….
The reason I’m giving ONE STAR is because when I called to speak to them again and complained they should’ve been clearer about the “just to open the boiler and Look is £180״ -HE PUT THE PHONE DOWN!
When I called again, he said that if I’m shouting at him he’ll put the phone down and now he’s NOT GOING TO SEND ME AN INVOICE….
A) I wasn’t shouting, but I was angry
B) I don’t think this company is aware that invoicing is not a reward for good behaviour, but a legal requirement!
I apologised and sweetly asked for an invoice, he conceded and I am eternally grateful for his kindness and generosity : )
