I would really recommend this removal company. I emailed via the online form on the Saturday morning to say that I might be potentially moving the following Thursday (so 5 days notice) as we were stuck in limbo in a chain- it was all a waiting game and so very uncertain and stressful. Jon phoned immediately and came out to see me the same day with a quote and reassurance that he'd get us moved without even taking a deposit. We did move on the Thursday and his crew Irish and Danny arrived and were keen, motivated and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. They were friendly and took great care & respect when handling our furniture and possessions. They even had to wait nearly 3 hours whilst we were awaiting to complete and collect the keys and again this was not too much trouble for them nor did they take advantage and add additional charges which I know a lot of companies do. All in all I would say this company is fair and understanding and good at what they do, they know the drill when it comes to moving home and are extremely empathetic and helpful to that fact and do not use it to their own advantage to add extra charges for this that and the other, very reasonably priced too in comparison to other removals quotes we received. We had overall a great experience and would recommend them to anyone moving.

Used A1removals again ( 3rd time ) for a move
This time I thought I should do a review to say a massive thanks to Jon and the team! Some new faces on this move but the same fantastic professional service! Best price quoted and again no damages or hassle, thanks Irish and team also!

Couldn’t ask for a better company! We’re more than helpful, and made our move so smooth and stress free! Would recommend to anyone! Thanks Jon and team xx

Very efficient, friendly and professional. By far my cheapest quote. Highly recommend!

These guys were absolutely great, moved us in super quick time, would highly recommend, friendly, chatty, and a good price to
, again great guys

We had arranged to use A1 and was to give advance notice of date needed, but then the house move date given to us was very short notice (less than 36 hours). I spoke with Irish who rearranged his schedule to accommodate us and a truck and van arrived at 6.30am. By 9am home contents was packed in truck and ready to go. By 1pm everything was unpacked in new property. All items had been packed and wrapped very well, and staff knew exactly what to do. Overall great service, great price, very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Thank you Irish and the team.

Really efficient and speedy move from one house to the other 🏡. All our furniture was wrapped in protective material and secured in the van to not incur damage. The driver was prompt and he managed to get everything in one go. His lovely assistant was very helpful too 😊👍Definitely worth the money especially because of the service you get. If you need a job done right Irmantas is your guy 💪

Have used them twice now and have been very happy with the service they provide throughout the process. Furthermore, the are very competitively priced, helpful and friendly. Many thanks to Irish and his team! 👍

The team at A1 were outstanding in carrying out our move. Professional, courteous, flexible...nothing was a problem and all done with a smile. We would thoroughly recommend them.

On what has been one of the most stressful things I have ever done Irish and his team worked so hard not only taking care of all our furniture but in reassuring us that he had seen all the hurdles before and all would be fine …… and it was ….. the guys moved all our furniture taking such care using a mountain of blankets to protect our stuff. Turned up on time and so light hearted but so professional. Good luck to Irish and his team for the future IF we ever move again yours will be the only number we call ….. Thank you

Very quick and with big responsible removed house. I would like to say thank you for the team for great job.

A1 are competitively priced. The guys turned up promptly and were friendly. Everything moved without a fuss and in great time. Thanks for all your help.

Great strong team work, fast on track.
Highly recommend a specially when is urgent. A very big thank you

We were an extremely last minute booking but Irish from A1 called us the day before to confirm the booking and collection time. They arrived on time and were done and dusted loading in an hour. Great service and unloaded the other end no problem. Blankets and covers were used and it made a stressful time much easier. I barely had to lift a finger.
They responded on their facebook page and also Leanne in the office replied. Other local companies never got back to us!!

Great service, friendly staff, affordable prices, would definitely recommend.

Can’t recommend A1 enough!

Nice crew, had a relatively fun and lighthearted experience with what could have been mighty stressful with moving large items. They overcame challenges without complaining or leaving me with more problems to sort out. They also looked after the items in transit really well with ties, blankets, covers etc. Glad I chose the service.
