Great van sofar .Have had a few snags caused mainly by poor quality control at factory.Easily resolved as I say sofar .
My Beverley was badly damaged in transit with low branches taking off the guttering and badly damaging the front fascia.
Solent Breezes part of Park Holidays say the parts to repair this damage have been on order since hand over day some 3 months ago.The unit has been at the site for some months previous but parts were not ordered until I purchased it.I have had water pouring down the side of my holiday home all this time.Reading some of your reviews I am worried about damp getting in.I just hear the same mantra from the park we are waiting for the parts from ABI.I wonder how much longer I will have to wait.

Buy Elsewhere
If customers could see this garbage being delivered, Windows falling out in transit Patio Doors that won't stay in.Toilets coming adrift and caravans being returned for repairs BEFORE they even get to their destination ,As well as exterior Lights FALLING OFF then getting run over by following traffic.Be better off buying a garden shed and putting a bunk and a sink in it

So this is my honest review of an ABI BEVERLEY static caravan 2022 that I took ownership of in August 2022.
Many faults are appearing with this brand new holiday home we purchased for a £50k plus outlay .
1.patio doors are not aligned
2.drawers broken
3.plinths not fitted correctly
4.main door showing daylight at top
5.leaking radiator valve
6.water appearing around base of toilet and thus damp on wooden toilet housing unit
7.fire extinguisher bracket broken
Abi did send someone to repair faulty fire extinguisher and luckily my husband stayed at caravan and asked him to sort some of these faults which he did willingly.
However having stayed at our holiday home this weekend and temperatures falling we decided to put heating on only to discover water leaking from radiator in bathroom and wooden unit behind toilet at bottom of waste is wet.
We are so fed up of phoning and emailing caravan supplier reporting faults on this so called inspected caravan it has not been the enjoyable experience we dreamed it would be!
ABI just say to inform supplier of faults who in turn then inform ABI who send someone to sort out problems when they are working in your area where caravan is sited.
Sorry ABI you charge a lot of money for your caravans and send them out with many faults your inspection team are not doing their jobs properly.
Yes I will inform McDonnell caravans of leaks but how much damage is the water going to do in the meantime?
Wish I hadn’t bought this caravan it’s become another problem to sort out not enjoying it at all at the moment!
Having had a r as nr about ABI and their quality control checks they have now rectified all faults .
I have the caravan now that I thought I was getting thank you ABI I have also altered my star rating accordingly.

.Built in microwave not working.After using Microwave in ABI Windermere…
After using Microwave in ABI Windermere once it went pop and stopped working, reported to insure, they said contact ABI, I did and ABI said ,must be reported through site, it was, 5 weeks later nothing,the microwave is built in and unusable,very poor service, I have other issues, but not hopefully with the non response to this problem

So we bought a brand new ABI Beaumont…
So we bought a brand new ABI Beaumont October 2020, the thrill of owning it caused a lack of clear vision. We reported a snag list to the park management within the first few weeks, including leaking sinks, slats missing from a bed base, an engineer from ABI fixed the leaks, and whilst the caravan was unoccupied it appears the maintenance team entered and put some slats of wood in the bed frame!! But as time has gone on we have realised that the finish could be much better i.e the kick boards around the base of the kitchen cupboards don't match and certainly underneath the dish washer the board has to be pushed back into place a few times a day.Recently we noticed daylight was showing at the top of the single door, and on looking the door had dropped in the frame, my husband was able to fix this, was it worth paying so much for....on reflection no, beware future buyers.

Worst caravan we have ever owned!!
We bought our Ambleside in 2021 on Parkdean resort Skegness after owning only a few months we noticed damp rising up the walls in the hallway and master bedrooms(no leaks) we reported it to abi has the caravan came with the reassurance of a 5 year warranty and suprise surprise they just pass the book also various other issue including cupboard doors don’t close correctly patio door is a nightmare to lock all electrical fittings either don’t work or the stainless steel has started to rust kitchen tap is fitted the wrong way around.
Overall a beautiful caravan but the support and build quality is shocking let’s hope our insurance company can sort the issues for us

Have given all the information they need. Rubbish customer service.

Still waiting for photographic evidence after your inspector said it was wear and tear what do you have to do to arrange a one on one inspection I am preparing a file complete with photos which I will send to the ombudsman and social media if necessary this is not a threat but after 18 months of patiently waiting for this issue to be resolved. the park have offered to meet me halfway with the costs after an Independent contractor inspected my van and agreed it was not my fault maybe you could pay the other half as I shouldn't be paying anything hopefully you will reply this time .

Emailed asking for some advice on the fixed furniture in my abi elan and within the hour i had all the name of the colours and wood match with numbers.

Bought a ABI Beverly September 2021 and…
Bought a ABI Beverly September 2021 and overall very happy with it. A few snags were dealt with either by the park or ABI promptly. My only gripe is with the cabinets in both bathrooms. How anyone is expected to be able to get your face over the basins without being a contortionist is beyond me. They need to be a third shorter to leave room to get over the basins. There’s plenty of storage space so this wouldn’t be an issue.

I rue the day I purchased my ABI…
I rue the day I purchased my ABI Westwood. I purchased an ABI Westwood in May 2017 & I have had nothing but problems. I have had to call their engineers out at least once sometimes 2 or 3 times every season since we've had the van.All the problems are caused by ABIs shoddy workmanship and faulty parts.Even 1 of their engineers told me that the people that build the Van's are under so much pressure to build so many in a day they don't care how they send them out.We have just returned to our van for the start of the new season to find yet an other fault & low & behold my fault is no longer their problem with them claiming the warranty no longer covers it.I would never ever again buy nor would I recommend anyone buy an ABI caravan.

Bad experience with ABI
Bad experience with ABI. Faulty fittings in my holiday home were met with derision. ABI will not deal directly with owners, only caravan parks, which leads to unavailability of spare parts and ridiculously high prices.

Purchased an Ambleside in September 2021
Purchased an Ambleside in September 2021. Really good finish all around. A minor problem with the front door but they fixed that quickly and without quibble.
Not cheap to buy and you get what you pay for, which is good.
We would recommend this van to anyone considering buying.

RUST BE AWARE
Purchased new Harrogate Lodge in June 2018 and had very few issues with build quality my main issue is with ABI warranty department following the radiator in the en-suite which after 3 years is going rusty, ABI initially stated that as it’s in the bathroom and toilet splash may be the cause then it would not replace the radiator under warranty, not sure how they use their bathroom but as the radiator is no where near the toilet pan there are no grounds for this type of response. I have had lots of communication with the warranty department all to no avail regarding getting the radiator replaced, so much for their unrivalled warranty promise. Once purchased it feels like they do everything possible to reject any warranty claim.

We have a 2016 ABI Elan after having a Willerby van. As someone with early onset Lewy Bidy Dementia I feel totally at home in this new static caravan, and don’t want to go home.

Really pleased with new ABI Beaumont Caravan and minor issues dealt with effectively when reported. The built in washing machine is faulty but having contacted ABI via our site arrangements being made to replace it. No complaints.

Fabric has changed colour
We have a 2015 Abi Ascroft which we bought this year ..I'm wondering if anyone has had their sofa fabric turn a very nice shade of Green from a beige/ brown colour , I messaged them and they said as I've bought the van second hand I'm not covered and they have never had this problem before but there are lots of our van on site and the very first one I spoke to has the same issue.
Quality and attitude issues with ABI!
I have recently purchased an ABI Windermere holiday home, and have to say that I am disappointed at the build quality. Patio doors that don’t close are the biggest issue. First of all we had to lift the main door onto the frame because otherwise the other door wouldn’t close, leaving gaps which let the slightest breeze through, in fact even when the doors were closed, you could see daylight between them and the frame. The engineer came and said the door needed a new “flag-hinge”, which they were apparently going to put on order. However, after a number of weeks of hearing nothing, my site chased it up, only to be told that the hinge had been damaged, and as they had not visited previously, they would not be held responsible.
There are marks around the lights in most of the rooms, drawers do not soft-close, and doors don’t fit properly, so generally speaking, quality control does appear to be an issue, and when you have a genuine issue they just fob it off…”It’s not our fault or responsibility!”
I appreciate there will be snagging problems with most new homes, but it’s the attitude of ABI that really takes the biscuit,
