We purchased a New Beaumont in 2019 it is the worst mistake I have ever made the build quality is terrible Patio Doors with large gaps wind rain etc coming through doors not fitted properly washing machine made a terrible noise making ornaments etc move round and fall of the shelves the fridge freezer had to be replaced the washing machine has also been replaced and the floor area under neath had to be reinforced kitchen doors out of line the list goes on and now we are going into are third year granted most of the FAULTS have been sorted.
In the ABI Brochure it states a King size bed but it is not I’m 5ft 8in tall and my feet hang over the end of the bed so still waiting for this to be sorted.
My 12 year old willerby vouge was in much better condition than the New Beaumont should of kept the willerby and not put it in part ex.
So very disappointed

I am extremely upset I have brought a…

I am extremely upset I have brought a ABI Clarendon brand new ex demo 2017, brought it in April2021 and I have a list of snags that have not been resolved or even dealt with and I've also have a leak so water by entrance of door and now water patch in twin bedroom wall and today found water patch in corner of the lounge ceiling! This is appaling after care service! I'm on Gwernydd Hall Holiday park Newtown and I'm appalled this is not being resolved and I'm left with a new van that has leaks!!!

ABI Beaumont 2020 Washing Machine

We brought a brand new 2020 ABI Beaumont in September 2020. The best thing we have ever done. The only downside is that when using the washing machine and it is on a spin everything in the living area and kitchen area shakes a lot and is very noisy.

An exceptional holiday home

We recently took delivery of our new ABI Ambleside residential spec holiday home at our chosen site in Devon. The entire selection and ultimate purchase were done on line due to the covid restrictions.
Our first sight of our new holiday home was in mid June when we had arranged to stay in in for a week.
Upon viewing it the first time we were just blown away with the style and quality of everything from the finish on the exterior to the attention to detail and quality of the internal fittings and soft furnishings. It really is home from home as it has everything we have in our main residence. It has an oven, separate grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. It has two bathrooms that are really nicely appointed and the showers, well, just brilliant. The beds are top quality with pocket sprung mattresses, king size in the main bedroom and lift up to reveal cavernous storage.
There is well thought out storage space to spare throughout the whole holiday home.
The overall design gives a real feeling of space throughout and the view from the sofas through the sliding patio doors is brilliant.
Because of its residential status insulation and excellent central heating Christmas in our holiday home is a real possibility.
The whole experience has vastly exceeded our expectations, The quality from design to fittings and fixture rival any show home.
We now have a lovely holiday home which gives us all the comforts of home. It is home from home.
A big well done to ABI and the teams that work hard to produce such an exceptional product.

Poor Quality Materials

We purchased a new ABI Beaumont in 2019 one of the things that attracted us was the Belling oven and hob. It wasn’t long before we noticed scorching around the burners of the hob and it was replaced.
Not long after we noticed scorching once again and the hob top marked and stained really easily even though it looks like it is made of stainless steel. This made us reluctant to use it and we once again reported it but we were told we were out of warranty
Due to winter shutdown and Covid-19 lockdown we have spent very little time in our van and although we do our best to look after it as best we can it’s easy to say the hob is a total disappointment and when people see it they are shocked
This can only reflect badly on ABI and Belling

Service issues

I have travelled to my holiday home and sat here waiting for 2 days for the engineer to appear to make repairs. Only to be told by the after sales team at my park that they have just been told they aren’t coming at all this week. These issues were raised 6 months ago and nothing has been done to resolve the issues.

Firstly, we would like to offer our sincere apologies that this visit has not gone ahead as scheduled. We were informed by our supplier that the visit was still taking place on the date given, unfortunately we were not informed that anything had changed. Our warranty team are currently in correspondence with our supplier in reference to this to find out why this visit did not go ahead and to get a new date as soon as possible. Our team have also been communicating directly with the park and will provide further correspondence shortly. The park will further communicate with you on this.

Once again, we are very sorry for the failed visit and the inconvenience this has caused due to taking the day off work.

Bought our brand new Abi Beverly from…

Bought our brand new Abi Beverly from Away resorts just before lockdown
Reported snags to Away sales team who are excellent,BUT have to wait for photographic evidence to be approved by manufacturers for approval then wait till Abi condescend to attend to warranty work
How can doors not fit properly,if manufactured under factory conditions,the park maintainance team would not attempt to remedy as beyond their scope,as under warranty
Because the van is sited on the Isle of Wight,Abi may condescend to fit it in when in the vicinity,yeah right!!
Would I buy from Away again yes sales team excellent
Would I buy another Abi NO,certainly not
Our home is not I add,available for rental,it is our holiday home only

We have managed to locate your van serial number to look at the history regarding the outstanding issues. We can see there has been one claim logged on the 01/05/21 and acknowledged by our team on the 05/05/21, this relates to an issue with the en-suite door which you have mentioned in your review. An issue such as this could be down to various reasons which is why we like to send our Engineer first to look into it. We would like to assure you that we have not requested photos of the issue, this claim was acknowledged to be attended on our next visit to the Isle of Wight. Our Warranty Manager has sent an email to Emily at the park regarding this today (25/05/21) so we are sure she will be in contact with you to discuss any further correspondence.

I Have wrote an email to you and not…

This is the reply to their reply from my first review. I Have wrote an email to you and not got a reply, theirs no difference when you phone after care, we found this from the start, my Mum just got the jobs done as your very reluctant to do to anything. If you walked into our caravan you can tell its been looked after. Really we should of sent it back when we first got it but my Mum gets embarrassed about doing stuff like that. Because of the leaks, we have to pay another £2000 but this is just to put a plaster over it. There are caravan on our site that older than ours but different makes that have not one problem with just general ware and tear which the people get done but if you have had leaks from the start you have no chance. If you are investing in a caravan really look into it and their reviews and if you feel it's not right send it back do not except it or you will own a holiday home money pit. X

I bought an abi static caravan 2 years ago I must admit is was the worst purchase I've ever made , never again , warranty work never done , boiler that cuts out , doors that don't work , the list is endless , if your thinking of buying one please don't go there

I have a ABI Derwent wheelchair…

I have a ABI Derwent wheelchair accessible caravan , the runners on the shower room door have broken, have tried direct to ABI but has to go through dealership who need serial number and other details , any ideas please ?????

All correspondence must go via your park or dealer who will make contact with our warranty / aftersales team on your behalf. The park will have a copy of your van serial number, however this can be found either on your paperwork or on your van (inside the boiler cupboard door, back of the van or on the chassis at the front end door side).

Panels expansion issues after 2 years

Panels expansion issues after 2 years. ABI repairs made the panels not even line up and full of silicone. Pictures avaliable of their so called repair.

Love my ‘Dale’ ABI Langdale

We purchased a new ABI Langdale Oct 2020. As with any new caravan we expected to have a snag list as with any hand made new build, and we did. A couple of cracked mirrors, patio door not opening, bit of damage to a unit in the main bedroom, door not shutting to the main bathroom, bits behind cooker splashback. Some were sorted by my dealer and the mirrors turned up with Phil from the warranty team at ABI. What a truly nice professional guy, mirrors fitted, damage on bedroom unit sorted, bits behind splashback sorted, patio doors sorted, Phil is a credit to ABI. We have a couple of issues left which we are reminding the dealer about, one, the arms on the sofa have a big dint in them as whatever is underneath broke and two, when we moved in, a week after the van had been sited and connected, there had been a small drip leak from the toilet cistern on the plastic fitting that comes out of the bottom of the cistern. We noticed this when putting things in the bathroom, the floor was wet and the water had soaked up the walls behind the toilet and also on the wall in the hallway. The leak was fixed by our onsite plumbers imediately the day we moved in, it was also reported to our dealers. The walls in the bathroom have dried out, but a mark has been left on the wall in the hallway. I spoketo Phil (ABI) while he was here who explained how the walls and paper work to soak up small leaks etc, he also noticed that the unit in bathroom had also suffered blown laminate due to it soaking up some water. I will be passing on my his findings today and to also remind them of the sofa issue.

I am highly delighted with the build quality, design and my dealers and ABI’s team. I expect faults, these units are made by many hands, they flex when being delivered and sited, things move, problems may occur, appliances fail etc, it’s expected. People sometimes who leave scathing reviews of any manufacture clearly do not realise our contract is with our dealer, not the manufacturer. I have no doubt my last couple of niggles (yes, even if my leak is serious) will be dealt with, I trust my dealer and have faith in the product.

ABI Ambleside

We purchased our ABI Ambleside in April 2019, so have owned it for very nearly 2 years now. This is our 5th static caravan and first ABI. It is a fantastic caravan with a well thought out layout. The build quality and internal fittings are top quality and it is far superior to the caravans we have previously owned. It feels really solid and is well protected from the weather. We did have a nimber of snag issues but these were quickly andd effectively managed by our site and the ABI team. Great caravan and highly recommended.

Awful build and after sales service.

I bought my ABI Ambleside, a 2013 model, two years ago. I’m having problems with the veneer peeling from my kitchen unit doors, table and lounge unit. I contacted ABI warrantee department, only to be told that the 2013 model was only sold with a one year warrantee! I asked if I could buy replacement doors and was told that I couldn’t, because the company that made them have gone bust.
So now I’m left with a problem, which should be covered by warrantee, and no solution from ABI or advice on where I go from here.

A touch of class,

After studying several other makes and models as soon as we viewed the Ambleside it was the clear winner with such thorough design and depth of quality. Beautifully built with great use of space. Highly recommend, congrats ABI.

A different class!

Purchased a seven years old ABI St David back in July, it’s amazing. Everything is in full working order and looks just like new. The quality of an ABI static caravan cannot be beaten.
