Understanding the situations where you found communication difficult, or where you felt Cristina was less approachable, would help us to look into this properly.

Great leisurely trip
Great leisurely trip. Fantastic tour guide Gilberto. We saw so much of Switzerland. Even in our spare time, our tour guide took us to place we would not have seen. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

The Ireland Tour
The tour director, the comfortable hotels, the three night stays in wonderful locations, the on tour stops to view such wonderful and interesting sites and places of interest and experiences all contributed to an amazing enjoyable trip of a lifetime

This tour was perfect for us
This tour was perfect for us. We are getting older and to find a tour that gave us longer stays and a pace that did not exhaust us was a joy. Our guide Helen was well informed and made us feel special. Our driver was calm, always made us feel safe and he was fun to be around. Definitely the best of Italy with great company.

I hadn’t travelled with Albatross…
I hadn’t travelled with Albatross before my Balkans tour in May so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was very pleased with the tour, the dining experiences were first class, very nice hotels and the tour was a good pace. There were some glitches, it was a new tour, but Albatross responded with excellent customer service and follow up. I am very impressed with Albatross and I will be travelling with them again.

Italian Grande
Antonio our guide was phenomenal and pulled together the whole experience, from advice on what to expect in each location, local customs, history and practicalities.
Was wonderful just to get on the bus and travel, small group of 18 was perfect size, got to know individuals in the group and easier to manage.

The guide was fantastic the bus was great and we saw a lot of the country in 19days. The quality of the hotels was a bit disappointing and not as comfortable as expected. The breakfasts were very nutritious but the evening meals disappointing with very limited options

It’s wonderful to hear that your Tour Manager was fantastic, the coach was great, and that you enjoyed seeing so much of Italy over the 19 days. We’re pleased that these important elements of the tour helped create a positive experience.
We’re sorry, however, that some of the hotels and evening meals did not meet the expectations you had for an Albatross tour. We know that after a full day of exploring, returning to a comfortable hotel and enjoying a satisfying dinner are an important part of the experience. While we carefully select our accommodation and dining experiences, we recognise that on this occasion they did not consistently deliver the level of comfort and choice you were expecting.
Your comments are appreciated and will be shared with our Operations team as part of our ongoing review of the Italian Grande experience. We would also welcome the opportunity to discuss your feedback with you personally, particularly around the hotels and dining experiences that fell short of your expectations. Lands of Myths and Legends a tour of…
Lands of Myths and Legends a tour of Sardinia and Corsica . Wonderful tour guide and bus driver and likeminded fellow travellers . Highlights were the mountains of Sardinia.and the dramatic cliffs of Corsica , medieval towns and hilltop villages, we walked through thousands of years of history.
We learned about Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Normans, Spaniards and countless others who shaped the Mediterranean world. We admired cathedrals, museums, ruins, castles and vineyards. The food and wine were wonderful, the local people welcoming and a shepherds picnic topped off another great experience.

We hope that Gilberto’s immediate care and support during the tour was felt and appreciated at what was undoubtedly a difficult time. We understand he provided support to you both as well assisting behind the scenes with some changes to your logistics, and that personal support is something we place great importance on.
Our Customer Service and Operations teams were also supporting you behind the scenes, including providing the documentation required for your travel insurance claim, which we understand was received not long after your return to Australia. We hope that, taken together, this support helped in some small way during what was clearly a very challenging time for you both.
