I love Altra shoes and have been trying to buy my sixth pair but the service is genuinely the worst I have had from an online company. It is now 8 weeks since I placed my order and I have no shoes and no refund. Altra confirmed this was a mistake on their end, where the wrong delivery details were attached to the package, and have promised me every week for the last month that my refund is being arranged as a priority. Despite this, still no shoes and no refund. I now have no option but to raise a chargeback with my card provider. Lifelong customer lost - I will be spending my money with Topo Athletic. I'd advise you save yourself the hastle and do the same.

Scarpa ottima, ma assistenza clienti da brividi. Dopo un mese e non so quante email, ancora non ho ottenuto il rimborso. Comprate da rivenditori piuttosto che da sito, che in caso di problemi, è il vostro e mai il loro.

Me compré unas zapatillas de 210 euros, lo hice sin cuenta, pero tengo el número de seguimiento y de pedido, tengo todo, las devolví por no quedarme bien y pedí reembolso por qué no había más tallas. Aún espero respuesta, hace más de dos semanas que han recibido mi devolución, pero aún no me avisan si recibiré el reembolso o me van a devolver las zapatillas, he enviado repetidos correos y no responden. Es lamentable si atención a la gente que no abre una cuenta.

Lieferung zügig. Retour Etikett Label konnte ohne Probleme online erstellt werden. Rückzahlung erfolgte nach 3 Werktagen über PayPal. Zum zurücksenden hatte ich 30 Tage Zeit, und die Lieferung sowie Rücksendung war kostenfrei. 

Ich hatte zwei Paar Trail Laufschuhe in je 2 Größen bestellt. Ein Paar wurde behalten. Ich bewerte nur die Kaufabwicklung und Retoure, also nicht die Qualität der Schuhe oder Service.

Bought a pair of Lone peak all weather 2 high top running shoes. After 4 months the material started cracking at a flex point on top of the shoe. I contacted Altra and they require a copy of the receipt. I bought these from a small town outfitter where I no longer live. I went back, got a copy of the receipt which was a screen shot of their computer screen because they couldn't send it to their printer. They told me that want good enough even though it clearly showed the model, store name, price and the date of purchase. After some back and forth they told me that they would not warranty my shoes and that the problem was wear and tear.

I'm a 69 year old veteran with disabilities. My past has caught up and I'm no longer a runner but walk my dog for exercise. These shoes failed within 4 months of ownership, I filled the warranty 6 months in to a1 year warranty period and they denied it.

I have never had this kind of failure in any show that I have ever owned even going back to my competitive days over 30 years ago. I don't wear these every day or everyone I walk, I rarely walk over 3 miles 3 to 4 times a week wearing different shoes and these failed within 4 months? Not warrantable? They don't stand behind their product, don't have loyalty to customers that are loyal to them. I'll never buy another pair of already again. Other companies make similar designs like the Topo shoes In just bought instead. Very comfortable, similar price range and seem to be excellent quality. It's a shame where do many are putting profit over quality and customer service. Their loss

Die Rückerstattung bei Rücksendung dauert extrem lange. Die Schuhe sind am 21.04.2026 angekommen, heute ist der 06.05.2026. Bis heute habe ich das Geld nicht zurck erhalten und vom Kundenservice meldet sich auf Anfragen auch niemand mehr. Bin mittlerweile echt verärgert.

Die Qualität des Schuhs ist unterirdisch. Der Service in Italien meldet sich nicht.

Chaussures certes très confortables et efficaces dans un premier temps mais durabilité et qualité inexistantes...
Textiles intérieurs pas solides et semelles très mal ou pas collées du tout !!!
Et après ça, SAV absolument inutile
A fuir !!!

Leider ist der Kundendienst unterirdisch, bei Reklamation kann man nur sehr schlecht an den Kundendienst kommunizieren. Die Mails gehen einfach nicht weiter. Die Firma runner inn, wo die Schuhe gekauft wurden zeigt leider auch kein Interesse dem Kunden zu helfen.

Es imposible hacer una devolución he insistido para que me envíen la etiqueta de devolución y ni si quiera contestan , evitar comprar en la página web oficial de Altra

The Olympus 5 was an incredible shoe. I owned multiple pairs from the robustness and good looking Olympus 5. I recently bought one of their new shoes and the quality didn't feel the same.. bring back the Olympus 5!!!!!

Altra Shoes Laces are extremely poor quality and they keep coming off. I have 2 pairs of shoes both pairs have annoying laces that come off. For a shoe with potential they should invest on making some good quality laces.

Erhebliche Abnutzungserscheinungen (teils Löcher im Innenpolster, Verklebungen lösen sich) nach wenigen Monaten. Mein entsprechendes Review auf der Herstellerseite hat man einfach trotz Bilder, nicht veröffentlicht.
Eine Begründung dazu gab es nicht.

Habe mich sogar an den Kundensupport deswegen gewandt, der sei aber nicht für die Veröffentlichung von Reviews zuständig…

Schuhe haben nach unter hundert km zu quietschen begonnen.
Da ich angegeben habe nicht ausschließen zu können dass die Schuhe in irgendeiner Weise nass geworden sind, schloss man eine Reklamation grundsätzlich aus.

Habe noch nie erlebt, dass ein Laufschuhhersteller sagt, seine Produkte seien nicht dazu gemacht auch nur den kleinsten Hauch von Feuchtigkeit auszuhalten. Das ist nicht nur frech, sondern grenzt an Betrug.

Delivery took 2 weeks to arrive. The website states delivers take 3-4 days max. The order was only processed after I complained after a week of no movement on my delivery. The reply to my complaint email was automated.
The shoes have now finally arrived and I agree with reviews on the FWD VIA 2 Woman that the tongue feels uncomfortable. I would like to return the shoes and have requested a return but no returns label has been sent to me. I have again emailed for a returns label to be sent to me and have been sent a automated reply.

I used to love these running shoes!

Wide toe box, low profile, minimal cushioning but alas, they are just becoming another sheep following all the other brands into skyscraper soles with ridiculous stack height. The unnecessary need to innovate every time they release a shoe, instead of have frame work, a base to build off they go and reinvent the whole shoe, again and again ruining the whole dynamic of the previous shoe and not for the better.
Poor customer service and lack of vision and relatable connection with their customer base.
It is very sad to see a once standalone company bucking the trend, to end up following the people they left behind in the first place!

Awful! It takes them 10 to 14 days to get your shoes to them and more than 16 days to receive a return! Still waiting for my credit after this awful ordeal. Customer service doesn’t provide help assistance or even an apology, they just quote policy and tell you that it’s “normal”. The shoe might be okay just don’t order from altrarunning.com.

Awful customer service. They just don’t reply. I I’ve been told that I’ve got to pay customs import fees of £65 so UPS are holding my parcel. I’ve paid for trainers that I haven’t got and the Customer Services are not replying to me, it’s been 4 weeks. AVOID
