Skip hire firm presented at Wrong address despite me calling three times - wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t shown on invoice. Told this was amended, obviously wasn’t. To all future customers, search local skip firms, these work on commission. The company that turned up at new address was the company I had been using for years (in a different town where I used to live), I could have got the skip much cheaper and it would’ve turned up at correct address.

The company offered a excellent service and price. With a good service with delivery and quality skip

AMA were chosen to supply a skip and were told in no uncertain terms that the neighbourhood was not a particularly desirable area with an element of people who would no doubt ransack or add to the contents
AMA understood this and agreed to collect the skip within 3days
However to date the skip remains in situ and is nightly scavenged by groups of people meaning we have to clean the area around the skip each morning which is proving to be stressful and time consuming
This is not the service we were expecting for the fee involved

Customer service was lovely, especially Lily. We were looking for a 2 yard skip for 24 hours. Lily tried her best but all Lily could do was a 4 yard which was alot more than I had budget for but I agreed as could do date I wanted. Although I only wanted for 24 hours (on a Wednesday) Lily said this wasn't possible and said but would try to collect on Friday if that wasn't possible it would be NO more than 3 to 4 days. After 6-7 days it had still not been collected, I rang and was told due to sickness and children going back to school they would try to collect by end of the week. At this point I did explain during one evening someone had dumped there stuff in there, so really wanted it gone, because we didnt really need a 4 yard people took advantage and fly tipped there stuff in there. So Still not collected and rang again on the Monday and was told it would maybe be today in the afternoon, it wasnt BUT finally picked up on Tuesday nearly 2 weeks after first delivered. Like I say service, delivery and collect was all good it was just we needed skip removed for other reasons and this was causing alot of disruption to our plans. If you have time and no rush great use AMA Waste. 👍

Skip Hire did not start smoothly due to issues with the transport department, however, Soukaina took ownership of the transport issue and went above and beyond to get delivery and collection exactly when required.

Great service and prompt delivery of my skip. It was collected within 24hrs of requesting collection too. No hassle and would use again if needed.

Really nice guys, they squeezed us in to take away a load of our house waste. Did it for a really good price, swept up and even used their magnetic sweeper to make sure there were no nails left! Thoroughly recommend.

Delivered and collected on time. Would have liked more information about what could and could not be put in skip

It’s very bad Company if they promise you to be delivered skip in next day .. you will receive it next week

Possibly worst Serice I’ve received from
a company. Spoke with Lilly to put order in for a 8 yrs skip. Told her what I was putting in it so she “checked” this was ok and got it booked in. When lorry turned up to pick up they said it couldn’t be filled up due to the weight and only could fill up equivalent of. 6yrd skip. Due to the driver not picking up I had to pay an extra £100 for Lilly being incompetent at her job. I was then told I had to pay the extra £100 or they would leave the skip on my property. So now I’ve paid for a 8 yrd and only getting 6 yrd and paying an extra £100 for it. On the second pick up I waited around all day and late in the afternoon phoned up for an eta and after being “put on hold to check with the driver” was told in the hour. This company doesn’t own the skips and basically is a middle man subbing it to the actual companies. Because I didn’t believe them I rang the skip company directly and they said they were never picking it up that day and turned up 4 days later. Company is utter shambles.
