Every one was was overboard with being helpful cheerful and took great care of every aspect of the cruise cruise director Maria was one of a kind so energetic and keeping you busy with her games and crafts and entertainment. Kyle was a great cruise manager. He helped us getting an uber for us and more wine when they ran out. That was the utmost important. It was our 2 nd cruise with American cruise line it was better than the 1st. We booked the Columbia snake River cruise for next year. Can't wait. Thank you for such a delightful and wonderful time aboard your ship.

Lower Mississippi Brought to Life
American Cruise Line has every aspect of the cruise brilliantly covered to make the experience worry free with lots to learn from lectures on the ship and wonderful tour guides on excursions. The staff does their job and shows an interest to each passenger being served. The American Explorer app is clear and easy to use and full of information.

A memorable experience
Staff always helpful and friendly. Excursions are well thought out and always interesting. Carriage rides and the Amelia River Cruise stood out. Food delicious although I expected more low country fare than we got. Still good meals, though. The daily local color speaker was just average. I think he knew his stuff but his delivery was not the best. I have certainly had better nightly entertainment on other cruises. Ship was beautiful and housekeeping (Nicholas) was outstanding. Our server, Nick, knew what our preferences were from day one onward. He was terrific.

My husband was ill
My husband was ill, and the crew's response to that need was nothing less than phenomenal. Destiny and Michael helped us feel very cared for. Ashley and Luke, our usual servers, showed us their concern, too. Jared's enrichment talks were very interesting. The choices for entertainment were very good.

The cruise was designed for older…
The cruise was designed for older people. The staff were all very competent, personable, and efficient. Our room attendant 402 was so considerate. Our server, Luke, remembered the details of routine meal requests. The chef accommodated Our son's medical dietary issues. Our Tour Diectors,Michael and Cameron were very organized and very entertaining. Destiny, the Hotel manager, handled many things. She booked cruises, helped out in the restaurant, and led line dancing, in addition to the hotel management duties.

Jarod’s daily talks were wonderful and almost one of the best parts of the cruise. Michael the cruise director also great, Elijah, Kayden, Tracy, Abigail, Josh, Harrison, Nick really everybody just couldn’t be more helpful.

Environmentally damaging and disturbing
Their cruise to the San Juan Islands is destroying the sea bed and natural habitat, disturbing local residents and wildlife, and bringing no economic value to the local community. Please avoid.

Experienced Traveler and like ACL because it is a family owned business in the USA. They know how to treat their guests and also hire friendly and knowledgeable employees.
Since I was the passenger with the most cruises (13) and so many passengers were first timers, I was asked lots of questions about ACL. There was a passenger (91 years old) traveling by himself who has sailed 11 times with ACL — his free one. Passengers were talking to him also. We helped guide the new comers with our experiences so they knew what to expect and I believe our conversations helped some to book another trip or two.

Great food and relaxing
We loved the food and such a relaxing agenda. Captain Steve did a fabulous job of navigation.
Daniel was an outstanding restaurant server. Maria kept everything organized with much enthusiasm.

Great staff and Service
The staff and services they provide is second to none. For the short time you’re in the cruise they become family. They all provide any and all services we needed. It was very hard to leave😌 but we’ll see be back in 2028😀🫶

The wait staff was great
The wait staff was great, friendly, pleasant, fun loving and so helpful. Evening entertainment was very nice, historian lecturer was excellant.

We loved the personal attention and the…
We loved the personal attention and the fact that there were only 130 passengers.
The food was outstanding and plentiful.
The dolphin excursion was our favorite, but all the excursions were great.
I would add an excursion into Naples when in Marco Island for shopping and sight seeing.
The size of the room was wonderful with lots of storage space.
Arianna was especially pleasant, smiling and personable as a server.
We do look forward to our next cruise with American Cruise LInes.
