The people, the food and the amenities are excellent!!
The people, food, rooms and amenities are excellent. But our boat broke down. This interfered with our outings. We drove by Beal Street, Sun Records and were not allowed to get off the bus. MLK assassination location was brief.
The 250th celebration was nothing more than a cake with red white and blue frosting. We expected some type of celebration. And the worst part - I wrote a letter to the CEO and apparently he does not care. No acknowledgment. We also received no compensation for our missed excursions due to the boat breaking down. A small acknowledgement would have made us all happy. But if the CEO does not care - it trickles from the top down

Great trip and experience. Hoping to be able to take another trip later this year or 1st of next year.
From boarding till we left the ship for the last time. The crew was very helpful. My wife is mobile but does not walk well or quickly and every one was very helpful and accommodating. We also had family that has Alpha-Gal allergy (cannot have mammal) and the Chef, servers and their supervisor/manager were all very helpful in avoiding any allergic reactions from cross contamination. Great trip. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I always believe that there is room for improvement, even if not apparent at the time.

Great trip. Enjoyed the lecture on the river every evening. Very informative. The staff was great.

One of our best ever travel experiences.
One of our best ever travel experiences. Nothing I would change. Whole operation runs like a Swiss watch. Staff, ship, food, shore excursions, onboard speakers were fantastic. With a small ship it is by design a more intimate experience. And the itineraries enable you to see the country up close and personal. Highly recommend.

The room was great along with daily sweet treats, room restock, bed turn down added to an excellent experience. I can’t say enough about the staff, always willing to assist with a smile. Great experience but wished there was port in Portland that we could have spent time.

Crew and excursions
Crew and excursions - moving from place to place especially in Canada, getting through customs- the excursion director was amazing! Food was excellent, room was well taken care of, crew was helpful and very friendly. As always it’s great to travel with you🤗

Positive and hard working staff of American Cruise Lines; the cleanliness. The staff were always smiling and greeted you whenever they saw you. The ship was always being cleaned or wiped down somewhere. The food was amazing and such a nice variety.

We had a great time
We had a great time. Rooms and the bathroom was very rommy. The choices of food were wonderful and so very delicious. Can’t wait to go on our next cruise. The staff is so friendly and enjoyable.

Every one was was overboard with being…
Every one was was overboard with being helpful cheerful and took great care of every aspect of the cruise cruise director Maria was one of a kind so energetic and keeping you busy with her games and crafts and entertainment. Kyle was a great cruise manager. He helped us getting an uber for us and more wine when they ran out. That was the utmost important. It was our 2 nd cruise with American cruise line it was better than the 1st. We booked the Columbia snake River cruise for next year. Can't wait. Thank you for such a delightful and wonderful time aboard your ship.

Lower Mississippi Brought to Life
American Cruise Line has every aspect of the cruise brilliantly covered to make the experience worry free with lots to learn from lectures on the ship and wonderful tour guides on excursions. The staff does their job and shows an interest to each passenger being served. The American Explorer app is clear and easy to use and full of information.
