Informative and relaxing
This was a very Informative and relaxing experience. American Cruise Lines takes care of all of the details of travel. The ships are recently built with spacious state rooms. With small ship cruising you get to know most of the passengers and the crew gets to know you. On this trip the cruise director was fabulous, speaking personally with us every day. it's like traveling with extended family, very comfortable.

Great Crew
The crew. Dre, Jesus and Treiand (sp) who waited on us. Charlie was personal, very knowledgeable and always there. Zac was very helpful in arranging a later cruise. Jessica was great in getting us organized.
I really liked the Prohibition Museum in Savannah.

My first cruise started out as a disappointment
Very disappointed at first because my room was much smaller than expected based on the deck plan and had been changed without notice by either my group coordinator, travel firm or American Cruise Line. Although I discussed the problem with the Hotel Manager, he was less than helpful, offered no compensation and failed to follow-up with me for two days . The reason I am giving 4 stars is the professionalism and courtesy of the rest of the staff from housekeeping to other department managers. I plan to give American another chance with an additional cruise in 2028. The ship is beautiful, entertainment and excursions plentiful and varied and food thoughtfully planned and prepared. My one suggestion would be to avoid the 4 hour ship turnaround for the next cruise which forces passengers to disembark, in some cases, as early as 4:30 a.m. and everyone off by 8:30 with clutter in the halls as the housekeepers are rushing to get rooms ready for passengers arriving by 11:30 am for next cruise. A day between cruises would solve this problem.

Amazing Vacation Experience
We really enjoy vacationing with American Cruise Lines! With these smaller ships you're able to connect with other guests, staff and crew members! Staff and crew were great... all so personable. The crew was constantly cleaning making sure your room and ship were clean. The food was very good, especially the desserts! Entertainment and excursions were good as well... something for everyone. Overall experience: 5+ stars!!

I like the design of your ships and the excellence of your staff.
I like the design of your ships. The staterooms have plenty of well designed space. The ship decor is simple and elegant.
The hotel manager, Andy, and the cruise director, Maria are fabulous. Patrick, the excursions director did a great job as well. Even though we missed several ports due to the weather. They were working miracles with scheduling. Also, the evening entertainment was the best on any of the ACL cruises we’ve taken.
All in all a great experience.

Excursions
Excursions. Loved the Jolly trolley in Friday Harbor, Butchhart gardens, tour of Poulsbo was great and we had Julie for guide and Scott was bus driver- they were fantastic, knowledgeable and fun. Tulip town was amazing

My experience was beyond what I was…
My experience was beyond what I was expecting. My husband had several surgeries the 2 years prior and we were unable to travel. When he got to the point he was ready to travel, we chose American Cruise Lines. We've traveled with them before and were BEYOND thrilled with this experience.

Snake and Columbia River…
We did the Snake and Columbia River cruise and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was done well. The staff were helpful, courteous, and friendly. I would happily do another cruise on ACL.

Highlights of the Mississippi
It was an awesome adventure. The crew, esp, Mariah, the cruise director was exceptional. Kelsie was great as well, also Abby, the server! Everyone was smiling and helpful, even in stressed moments. The ship was clean and well kept up and the excursions were interesting. The entertainment and enrichment programs were great as well.

The cabin was very nice
The cabin was very nice. The excursions were good. The boat had issues with the plumbing, but probably due to patron misuse of commode. The help was very friendly. The main issue was the food. The food was not consistently hot that should’ve been hot. Some of the food was excessively salty to the point It was unedible. The bread pudding that was served was burned. We waited 20 minutes one day for dessert which never showed up and another day we waited 10 minutes and the dessert never showed up .the TV movies that were provided Ran for 5 to 10 minutes and then went back to the beginning and ran 5 to 10 minutes and then went back to the beginning, never could see the end of some of those movies.

ACL Columbia and Snake river cruise
Staff, ship, excursions were wonderful. David Miller’s Lewis and Clark presentations were excellent. Stateroom was very spacious. Can’t wait to travel with ACL again.
