This is my 6th nest (large nest) from Ant Antics and I am extremely pleased with it. Great quality and the ants love them. Very easy to maintain and keep moistened. The channel for the heater cable is also a nice touch.

I also ordered some new water feeders which are great and my large Carpenter ants can still access.

Also I really appreciate the customisation on the cover!

Extremely helpful staff and good products. Always happy to make time for queries and has an awesome ant room. I prefer to collect as im close (and impatient). Although It's not an open to the public store it has a easy collection system and keep you updated as to when your order is ready and then you just book a slot convenient to you. Be warned it takes longer than you think of you get Sam chatting.

I have brought numerous Ant queens from Antantics, including food and equipment for the ants and have always experienced fantastic customer service, brilliant products and the Queens always shipped first thing and in great condition. I strongly recommend using Antantics for your queens and her needs.

I want to make everybody aware of Ant Antics so that nobody receives the same treatment as I have.

I placed an order on the 22/08/2025 for a Queen ant, it was about 40 min drive from where I was staying over the weekend (an hour and 20 mins round trip). my son and daughter were both very excited to see this Queen ant which I'd bought.

When I placed the order the website provided me with times to collect which I selected from. I then received a purchase confirmation and a reminder the day before collection to come and collect my purchase.

But when I attended no one was there, and the lady in the shop next door said they have gone to an event and that this isn't the first time this has happened.

So now I go back to where we were staying and emailed the shop, 5 days went by with no reply and no refund, so I sent another message giving 24 hours for a refund or I will contact trading standards. The shop replied with a very poor excuse which seemed to blame me for placing an order when they weren't in the shop, and said as a gesture of good will they will refund me, to which I responded and confirmed that I wish for a refund. This was 4 days ago and I am yet to receive a refund.

Today I have made a case with trading standards and the bank to which the bank has already provided me with a refund in holding.

** Update-When I placed the order there was no explanation of a que, the website simply offered a collection time, I knew nothing off ques, if this was the case why did I receive a reminder to collect the day before?

I have also not received a refund and the bank confirmed there was no refund pending this morning. So this is now a new low by Ant Antics, they are now being dishonest and attempting to mislead to save their face.

Ant Antics are also accusing me of being aggressive and threatening. The only thing I have threatened is that I will go to trading standards. I did not want to go to trading standards I just wanted my money back, I have had no option but to threaten this as you have ignored me and held my money back.

Part 2
Ant Antics website allowed me to select a time (there was only 4 time slots provided by their website so I selected what was available). Ant Antics sent me 2 confirmation emails, one straight after purchase and the other was received the day before collection, to remind me to collect the ant at the time their website provided.

The very email that Ant Antics keep saying I should of received before attending. I did receive, but for some reason they need to keep repeating that I didn't, I have the emails.

Ant Antics cannot stand up and just admit that ok we have made an error here is your money back, I can only presume they are now purposely trying to keep my money.

Regardless of what Ant Antics say about giving back my refund, my bank has confirmed that there are still no pending refunds, 9 days after I attended their shop on the 24/8/25.

The neighbors told me that it was not the first time and probably won't be the last that customers have turned up and your not there. she was lovely she felt sorry for my disappointed children and even offered me a hot drink, and I feel sorry for her. Your attempt to call me aggressive is yet again an attempt to save your own face by slandering me.

Do not give Ant Antics you business.

Honestly my favourite place when buying ants! They sell everything, seeds, protein and their good old sugar snaps! And always send their ants in good condition. One thing I think they need to work on is nests and Outworlds, their nests can flood quite easily. But other then that an amazing option, I also really like that they try to put loads of info on the species how to keep it etc, to the point I go to ant antics when I want to know about a species instead of google. I really recommend them to you when buying ants, ant food and just pretty much anything.

I recently bought a multi queen carebara diversa colony. They were shipped when it was safe to do so, being looked after until then. Once shipped they arrived the next day packaged well. I will absolutely buy from this store again!

Recently I made an order for some ants, the order was delayed by a week due to the heat wave we had, ant antics emailed me and apologised for the wait and informed me that the health of the ants was more important than thr wait which I completely agree with. The queen ant soon arrived straight after the heat wave was finished, dispatched on a Monday and arrived on the Tuesday with a suprise of 4 workers instead of just the queen and brood. Ant antics is an outstanding company, and I can't recommend it enough, best UK ant store by far ❤️❤️❤️🐜🐜

Brilliant communication! Great resources and amazing conservation efforts.

During the heatwave there were delays for the welfare of the ants. This was clearly communicated and I was l assured that they care for the ants rather than other companies who care about profits.

The packaging was great and my colony arrived in good health. The 3d printed feeding stations are superb. The feeds, anti escape liquid and seeds are of a very high quality.

Im very impressed by the educational materials (videos, info sheets etc). I also love that there is a charitable branch for the enthusiast community that puts conservation of different species, as well as education, as a priority.

My little colony of M. Ibericus are settling in nicely!

Placed my order and received my goods all in good time and well packaged now the bit I don't like doing. I have emailed them 3 times not to ask a question or 2 and it's been over a week no reply from them. I even tried a different email address of theirs and still no reply. I even tried messaging them on Instagram but to no avail, so great product and fast delivery, but the aftercare let's them down 7.5 / 10

Brilliant knowledge, so helpful, great people! Antcon is the most fantastic event, so happy we found it. We have been every year and the guys are just phenomenal. Always use them for our ants and supplies.
