Stopped working nearly 2 years in.

Stopped working nearly 2 years in. Not that it worked that great or that often anyway. Was working almost Ok 2 weeks ago. Now - no signal and my subscription is still active. I call junk. Can't even get a spare charging cord. Felt like a sketchy product when I bought it. Seemed like a great idea, Too bad, so many people are pissed at it and out hundreds of $$. My Tile Pros are far more reliable and they work!

Hassle free and immediate help with sorting out 2 accounts. The help desk chap was faultless. Trackers also work well throughout Europe - Germany, France Denmark and Norway in my experience. Good technology, good support, what's not to like?

Spent over $200 CAD, they don't even ship to Canada!

Spent $200 CAD on a tracker and subscription only to find that they didn't actually send the tracker because they don't ship it to Canada. Sure, they refunded me 3/4 of that for the subscription but I'm out $50 because they already shipped the replacement endcap (which they apparently CAN ship to Canada!?!?!?) Why on God's green earth would I want to spend $30 to ship a $20 endcap made of Chinese plastic halfway around the world when I can't even buy the tracker in Canada? Perhaps don't allow people to waste their time and money if they can't actually use your product?

Do not buy bikefinder gps.. pure trash

I bought the bike finder GPS I used it less than 7 weeks, it started refusing to take a charge, kept trying to charge it, but it would not charge. It got down to percent.And then it died.
I contacted amazon.They said it has been over thirty days.The return window has closed.
I contacted bike finder Tech Support troubleshooting. They went through it with me. Said It was defective product to go back to Amazon. I told them amazon does not return past thirty days.By bikes, finders still refuse to honor their product.They refuse to stand behind their product, basically telling me I was burned. I got a over $200 paperweight.

I have been very satisfied with my bike…

I have been very satisfied with my bike insurance and have had it for around three years now. The coverage has been great, and the service has been reliable. I have only needed to contact customer support once, and I received the help I needed from a friendly and professional representative. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this insurance.

This is exactly why I hate subscription models. They raise prices whenever they want, as they just announced by email, and suddenly you’re locked out unless you pay more.

I raised a question on the need for a second description on the 2nd Bikefinder tracker I purchased and received a swift clear answer: yes, you do!
I took the subcription and had problem to connect it to the tracker. Again the helpdesk resolved the issue quickly.

The gps is a complete joke

When the gps arrived it was not charging even though I applied the specific procedure that they told me.It took over 2 months for them to send a new one and it worked normally for around 2 months.The gps battery would last for around 15 days on normal mode and it went down to 12 days even though I was biking the same amount of distance each 12 days.If you wanted to put it on security mode or tracking mode the battery will last max 5-6 days wich is a complete joke.I will be at a different location and the gps will still show my home location.I put on tracking mode and connected with Bluetooth and same thing.I will come home from work and the location will still show my workplace.The day my bike got stolen it had 40%batterry left and did not get any notification or the right location it just show my home.There are many variables on this gps and none works as intended therefore never buy this useless product.I called ther line and they could not activate the gps or give me the right location so I can retrieve my bike.40 %batterry left and no chance of me retrieving my e bike is totally unacceptable.

Pretty good device

The device's power consumption is higher than promised. Eight weeks is an exaggeration. There may be something in the settings that can reduce power consumption.I bought the device separately and then went to BikeFinder, created an account and took out a tracking contract. A little later I started to regret not taking out insurance at the same time. I logged into my account and tried to add insurance to my account. That didn't work either. I contacted customer service and they told me to go into my account and take out insurance+tracking. After that, they promised to refund me for the tracking I had paid for earlier. That's what happened, but it was a bit strange, I was logged into my account where it showed that I had a device and tracking. Why couldn't I just add insurance to my order?

Great experience with bikefinder…

Great experience with bikefinder conserning the teft of my bicycle twice. First time in february 2022 where you on the phone folowed the tracker with me and guided the police to catch up with the thief and get my bike back unharmed, in Norway. Then another EXELLENT help on the second theft in Aguilas, spain, on friday the 05.12 this year, where there has been no help what so ever from the spanish police. But you solved it quick with the insurance company so i get money to buy a new tracker with the insurance still running. Thanks so much to Bikefinder. Great company with a great and accurate, on the spot product.
