Hi the booking of the bike is easy and straightforward, what happens when we’re on holiday and everything goes smoothly I’ll let you know

I booked scooter from saturday to sunday in mallorca, bikesbooking confirmed it and send me a voucher. However the evening before rental they contact me to say that rental company (cooltra) doesn't work on sundays. They gave me options to return it same evening (the whole point was to go watch sunset to the lighthouse with my girlfriend so thats not gonna work) or pay for extra day that i don't need. I asked if i can rent it now (friday evening) and return it saturday. Bikesbooking just told me to handle that myself and told me to contact cooltra. Well i went to their office and the customer servant was very helpful. But the fact i now had confirmation from bikesbooking at saturday 13.00 to 20.00, with the price for full 24h, and no way to change that, i needed to make seperate booking from now to 13.00 and pay even more for that.

TL;DR i was forced to pay almost two days rent for one day. If possible, stay away from bikesbooking and rent directly from cooltra.

Tried to rent a scooter in Athens, they confirmed the booking the last time and changed the provider without any notice. Terrible service

well I have not got the bike yet but the phone/email service is is good and taking the bike I want to hire closer to the airport for me sounds good to me ,so after the trip I will tell you more happy summer we hope

We have only paid deposits at the moment, we are renting 12 Scooters in Napoli in May, initial booking was great took some time to sort 12 scooters from one pick which is understandable,

The rental location not accept credit card and the bike is old the engine stop any moment and its very old bike 52000km for sym 200

We were treated well. At the end we got more then we asked for. Just because they thought it would be better and safer for us.

All went well. The doubts before the rental were immediately answered. I am also very satisfied with the rental. Thank you!

Excellent communication and provided exactly what I needed on the dates I needed it, picking up and dropping off the motorcycle at the location requested

TL;dr
I booked through bikesbooking.com three quads from the rental company "ANC Azores". At the moment of booking, I was informed that ~100EUR will be non-refundable. I agreed to that, it's normal after-all, similar to the booking.com policy. Short after booking, someone from the customer service contacted me, saying that the local company only had 2 quads and asking if that's ok. I replied that this didn't work as we were 6 persons. They replied that they solved the problem and 3 quads will be waiting for us. Imagine my disappointment when I arrived at "ANC Azores", and they had 2 quads, not 3 and in a very bad and unsafe condition. I asked bikesbooking.com for a refund, they agreed but never sent the money. I left this review here and they replied with some nonsense about how it was my fault actually then reported this review. Make no mistake, "ANC Azores" refunded us for the 2 quads we returned, bikesbooking.com charged us for booking 3 quads and kept the money. So this review IS about bikesbooking.com, it's not a lot of money and there probably are also happy customers. But be prepared to lose the booking money if through no mistake of yours they mix up things and can't provide what you booked.

The full experience:
I booked some time ago three quad bikes. When I arrived at the local provider they had only two quad bikes, both in deplorable and unsafe conditions. I was forced to refuse and find bikes somewhere else.

I mailed bikesbooking.com and asked for a refund, they replied that I will be refunded but never got the money back.

The company "ANC Azores" had only two quads. They told us to find a third quad somewhere else, they never proposed anything else. If they would have proposed a third quad we would have taken it because we were on a schedule. Instead, we spent the day searching for a company to rent one more quad. Isn't the whole point of booking online to have an insurance that the quads would be waiting for you and you would not have to raid the city in a desperate search for quads? You and your local provider failed to deliver what I booked. Moreover, the two quads they provided were damaged, oil was leaking, they didn't have parking brakes. Of course after searching the whole day, when we found somewhere else the third quad in adequate shape and saw that they have two more quads we decided to return the previous two... You may keep your fraudulently taken money. I wish I did not make the reservation in the first place.

Also, good job on changing your mind. This was the e-mail from last year:

Арендовали байк на Тенерифе через bikesbooking. Депозит и оплату перевели с карты арендодателю. После возврата байка в безупречном состоянии нам не вернули депозит. Я связывалась с арендодателем, потом связывалась с bikesbooking - они пообещали помочь, но в указанным ими период деньги не поступили на мой счет. После этого меня игнорируют и арендодатель и bikesbooking. Я потеряла 150 евро = 10 000 рублей!!! За аренду этого байка я отдала меньше! Очень обидно, больше этим сервисом не воспользуюсь и никому не советую!!!

Rented a bike in Tenerife through bikesbooking. Deposit and payment transferred from the card to the lessor. After returning the bike is in immaculate condition and we did not return the Deposit. I have contacted the landlord, and then contacted bikesbooking - they promised to help, but in the specified period the money is not credited to my account. After that, ignoring me and the landlord and bikesbooking. I lost 150 euros = 10 000!!! For rent this bike I gave less! It's a shame, anymore this service will not use and do not advise anyone!!!
