Wanted the older Patagonia 26L backpack in a specific green buckhorn green color, but it was sold out everywhere. I found it on Bob’s website, though I had never heard of the company before. After doing some research, I found a lot of mixed reviews. One Reddit post suggested calling the store to confirm the item was actually in stock, so I did just that before placing my order. I live in Brooklyn and paid for 3 day air shipping $11 just to be safe, but I actually received it the very next day. I’m really happy the experience turned out so well because I was pretty worried at first. In the end, getting this backpack was totally worth it haha.

Is it really a good idea to order online from a place called Bob's Sports Chalet? I wasn't sure, but they had a Patagonia jacket I wanted to give my kiddo, so I did. After receiving it on 3/2/26, the jacket unexpectedly started to come apart soon after. The website states 30 days to return merchandise but for some reason they set the cutoff to 3/27/26. I emailed the site, explaining the issue. I was ignored. I emailed once more. Ignored. And again. Ignored.

The shipping was very fast! Most comfortable shoes ever!

I recently bought a pair of Salomon S/Pro Alpha 130 ski boots. After my purchase I brought the ski boots home and put in my footbeds only to find that the ski boots caused my legs to bow when I flexed them. I understand that each skier's anatomy is different and their experience in a particular ski boot will vary. However, Bob's does not carry an extensive line of performance ski boot alternatives and I asked for a refund. I received a refund but was charged a 10% fee.

The ski boots were never used and were returned in 1 week after purchase. I was mindful of the salesperson's time when I tried on the ski boots in the store and I made a good faith effort to test the ski boots with my footbeds at home. Given the fee that I was charged I do not believe that Bob's Sports Chalet gave me the same courtesy.

Product was fairly priced and was a quick ship! My wife skied last week and loved the new orange poles that went well with her equipment!

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I tried to email with them to exchange a Christmas gift and was given the runaround for 6 weeks without ever getting closer to learning how to initiate the exchange (which is clearly allowable per the policy on their website). Why they would choose to lose a customer (and that customer's family) over an inability to even elucidate an exchange policy, let alone make the exchange, is beyond me.

lies about warranty's do not buy from these scammers, my friend was pressured into buying more expensive skis than he was comfortable with because of some "warranty" which did not exist and now hes stuck with broken skis. dont buy from these scammers

I rarely write reviews but I was so pleased with my experience with Bob's Sports Chalet that I had share my experience. I have been wanting the North Face Nuptse Chukka for weeks but they were all out of stock on the north face official website. When I was able to finally order my size, I waited WEEKS only to get an email saying that my order was cancelled because they were out of stock. I found bobs sport chalet online and though I never heard of or ordered from them before I decided to give it a shot and my order literally came in 3 days!! The package and shoes arrived in great condition and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Ordered 2 Burton accessory cases for my twins for Christmas. 2 different colors. Two of the same were sent of lesser value than ordered. Reached out to have the correct item sent that also cost more than the item sent. Was told they would not resend the item until the wrong one they sent me was returned to them. Once that was received if the original one that cost more was still available they would then send it. A mistake on their end…. These were Christmas gifts so instead I just kept them but the person I spoke with was so rude!!! Very disappointed with customer service.
