Cancelled my subscription.sent them proof and they are still threatening me absolute shambles stay away from this dating site people

Signed up for one month, of course it has charged me another £40 for the next month. Have emailed to cancel but nothing back from them.

I've cancelled my account with c-date and yet your still taking money from my bank how can I stop this what your doing can only be a scam and should be illegal.

Terrible app full of bots. Tried to cancel in app but wouldn't work. T's & C's at the time said that I had to send a fax to cancel. I forgot about it. They subsequently kept taking the premium membership amount of £39.90/month for 7 months from Jan 23 to July 23 and so I asked my bank to cancel my card and issue a new one. That is £279.30 in membership fees for a service I did not use. I have now received a later from 'Themys & Dyke', a solicitors in Essen Germany fr an amount of £309.21 relating to an unpaid membership fee in August 2022! How can I be pursued for an unpaid membership fee in Aug 2022 when I continued to pay C-date until July 23. This is a scam. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEIR SERVICE

All the matches I came across just tried to sell more coin's, it was like they were there to make you buy token's.
I tried the trial, tried to cancel it but obviously did it wrong, sure they well overcharged me the cost was well over £40 I'm sure
They didn't reply to it.
I refused to pay it
They've just sent me a letter for a summens, I want to know how much they had off me in the 1st place.

I have subscribed for a month long trial in November and requested an cancellation after a week, which was accepted and I cancelled the payment with my bank provider as well.
After that month my account was blocked and I was getting any more notifications or emails.
Until today when I received an email demanding to pay £49.90 for another month while my account was cancelled and blocked.

Trying to say I owe them nearly £50.... Absolute scammers

Purchased 1 month premium and automatically got charged the next month £40. Sent 2 emails of cancellation, filled 2 forms of cancellation on their website and no response. Luckily I’ve used PayPal so I was able to cancel the automatic payment. I’m currently on a dispute with them on PayPal but they still don’t respond . All I’ve got was only automated replies that my cancellation request was received…
I have also deleted my online profile on their website and they replied that they working on it….

I never signed up to this service, my card was used illegally. I reported this to my bank, Action Fraud and the police. My bank has agreed this is fraud and refunded me. I am still receiving threatening letters. My lawyer has told no judge will enforce this based on the evidence and he would be happy to represent us at any court appearence I am going to write to my local MP as this is clearly a criminal organisation trying to use the legal system. However if they do go to court I'll welcome it and make sure the case is followed by a journalist we work with, so this scam can go public.

Stay well away from this scamming company, as you don't realise that there is no cancellation option on your account after you've signed into premium monthly membership. I've emailed them 3 times to cancel my premium membership, but have heard nothing back from them as yet. I've cancelled my pre approved payment for any future payment. Now they can threaten me as much as they like and aren't getting a penny from me, as i have prove of the sent emails to them to cancel it. I honestly don't know how a company can get away with this sort of robbery at this day and age. Scammers Scammers Scammers. Do not sign up with them.

dodgy "company" currently doing the rounds, with their link getting spammed all over the web and Filling my Mail server (and clients) with spam, which i have reported.

Dont respond to me, c-scam, im not interested in your form letter reply.

i advise anyone reading this review to report their website and company (Interdate S.A) to your local internet regulating body.

UPDATE: you are not "legitimate", you are a data mining and debt-2-bailiff scam outfit, and you know it.

you are blocked by NordVPN and other scam-aware sites and software.

telling people you are based in Lux is just admitting you're getting lower rate/hiding your tax, it doesn't give you legitimacy.

I clicked on a promotional link to C Date back in Sept 2023 . I used it for a couple of weeks but the site wasn’t very good , so thought I’d cancelled my account . It must have been through the app as I have no evidence of an email . I’ve just received a letter demanding €354 , I’ve received no other correspondence and I don’t know what to do ! Can anyone help

Ridiculous service that i used for barely a month before smelling a rat,attempted to send a cancellation fax to France as requested(really!)and eventually gave up and cancelled my PayPal payment -Now have receive a Legal notice for unpaid subscription and legal fees over 15 months later,and am in contact with PayPal for guidance and support..be ashamed of yourselves!

I was just browsing & got bombarded with messages I clicked on a picture and I got charged for it now. There is six other charges pending in my bank account. Then I got two messages of women wanting to meet up straight away but I have to fill a PIVD for me which would cost £300 so I just had to ring my bank and cancel my card

Absolutely impossible to cancel membership on the app, besides that, it’s also one rubbish dating site generally in my honest opinion!!

I was billed by this company for services after I had cancelled a free trial. I am now getting debt collection letters which are incredible aggressive (after a bank card change). They are a bunch of scammers who are taking advantage and then using threatening behaviour to extract money when they have provided no service. Be ashamed of yourselves.

To add to this, the C-date response is totally unacceptable. They have said they will notify me if anything changes with my account. My account with them is closed and has never existed for paid services. They are essentially still trying to scam me.

I sent a cancellation request within the month timescale. C-Date then proceeded to ignore my email, so I sent a further email, within the timescales, which you responded to say I missed the cancellation period. I used your service for less than 3 weeks. It is full of fake accounts.

Apple are not responding to requests about your service, which it seems you are capitalising on loneliness with your greed.

So, lwhere do I start. I joined the site and canceled after a period of time as per the C-Date cancellation process, however, it didn't cancel. Then I recieve a letter from CMS debt collection in Germany chasing 91 euros! Went on site to see if I could confirm I have canceled and yet when I try I get a big warning page telling me I need to contact the debt collection agency. So I have emailed C-Dates asking them to remove all my account information and contact details and confirm cancellation of my account today. Yet to receive a response. I called the debt collection agency and spoke to Genc who confirmed he will contact C-Dates on my behalf so I emailed him my email to C-Dates including screen shots of similar reviews of people with same issue. C-Dates is intentionally making it difficult to impossible for members to cancel their memberships therefore contravening consumer standards. This falls under EU legislation too. (I'm in uk). This is a scam and one where they attempt to get people to pay for a service that they say people have signed up to for a min period. This was obviously not clear to people when they sign up. Again contravening consumer law. For a German debt collection agency to chase up, what is a small amount of money, from someone in the UK is not feasible. Plus they don't have immediate jurisdiction. They have to go through an expensive route to enforce which would make it non viable. However, C-Dates rely on those few that do pay and that's how they and cms get some money. I will be issuing a cease and desist notice to both companies and reporting them for GDPR failures. Hope this helps others in same situation.
Further information to add. I paid for one month service in July 9.90 then cancelled. No further money was taken and yet I received email from cms in November and then the letter in December. Why was I not contacted prior to then? They have a number of subscription options. 9.90 being the monthly then 3 month and 6 month options etc. I have bank about proof that I paid but their cancellation price did not work. I have subsequently emailed cdates direct to cancel any account info but I will not be threatened into paying money I do not owe. I have not used the service since. I unsubscribed from their email updates and all of a sudden they have started sending me update emails again. I will take this as far as I need to as c dates obviously don't want to help to sorry out issues that they have caused.
I appreciate your response. I canceled end of July so your cancellation link did not work. I had no chase up for payment from you only the first one from cms in November. My email registered to the account is pjohanlon75@gmail !!! and I emailed your customer service department yesterday on service@c-date !!!requesting confirmation of the cancellation. If it hasn't then I've asked for it to be immediately cancelled. There is little transparency and issues with your cancellation process so it needs looking at to avoid others having same issue. Can you please confirm my email that I sent to your customer service department yesterday and that my account has or is in the process of being canceled?

I have sent an email for my premium membership to be cancelled but i fear after reading this that it will not be hence my review
