Tragic Customer Service
I ordered three items, one of which was a pre-order. Their website states that in-stock items will be held until the pre-order is ready to ship. No big deal, right? All I needed to do was be patient.
As it turns out, what they don’t tell you is that they won’t pick out any of the items for packaging until the pre-order is ready to ship. Which meant a limited, sale item I ordered was cancelled and refunded because it was no longer in stock (and there are no plans for the site to reproduce this product, which is a bummer because it was something I had my eye on for months and could only personally justify purchasing within a larger order).
Customer service was entirely unprofessional with deadpan, one-line responses and didn’t seem sympathetic to the situation at all, and offered no solutions. I’m incredibly sad because I’ve loved the quality of previous garments I’ve received from Cakeworthy and their collaboration lines are beautiful, but I can’t justify ordering from them anymore after this awful experience with customer service.
Beware of quality and size and ship time
I purchased a Halloween Disney themed dress for a upcoming visit to Disney World. It was purchased back in July and was a preorder. It did not arrive until Sept 28. I have to say I am not overwhelmingly pleased with the dress. I saw where their clothing runs small and suggestions to size up so that's what I did. It still does not fit well. The proportions of the dress are off. I have made a decision to keep it and have some alterations done. So it would have been nice if Cakeworthy would have provided a timeline of when this special order was to ship out. As it is now I have been left with a timeline that makes it impossible to return and this also would have left me in a position of not being able to get a replacement dress from somewhere else as I am now pushed up against my trip time line. Ordering a dress in July for a Oct trip should have left me sufficient time. The bottom line is I am leaving this review in warring to others. If you are special ordering a item then allow yourself several weeks. Also the quality compared to the cost of the garment was disappointment. I will not be purchasing any thing from this company again.

And so they refuse to cancel it for me and I'm on disability and what I found out is this company sends people items to review that are rich popular and famous for free
I mean hundreds of dollars of items for free just because they're on YouTube Instagram or whatever in here and I got really pissed off about it and I'm telling people not to buy from this company whatsoever cuz if you buy from the company you will not be able to cancel your item no matter what position you're in or no matter how much they care about you cuz they don't this company cares about one thing paying people off so they can get ratings
I don't do reviews like that if I don't like something and I buy something I'm going to flat out tell you face your face if I get something that I like it then I'll brag about it and tell people on different sites yeah I'm not a big popper on social media no kidding but I'm not going to stand for this no more so don't buy from this company because they will one not cancel your item and two they don't give a damn about you as a person they rather just get free stuff away the popular people on
YouTube, Instagram ,Twitter ,twitch, so on and so on so they can get more reviews for free and I'm not staying for it anymore.
I do not recommend this company whatsoever because you cannot cancel your item and they don't care about you as a customer all they care about is paying people for free reviews and that's not right so now I'm going to be out $57 they won't cancel my item so I guess when I get the item I'll probably just sell it and I should be able to get my money back since it is a popular item but it's still pisses me off so don't buy from them
Cakeworthy doesn't deserve one star…
Cakeworthy doesn't deserve one star from me. I paid $8 for priority mail which insures your package. I placed an order for two jersey tops on July 15th and it was said to be shipped by July 19th. By the time July 22nd came, I noticed the package was still in New York and had no moved so I contacted Cakeworthy and in less than three minutes, USPS updated the package and it went from NY to Kentucky by the 22nd of July and USPS said it would be delivered to me on Saturday the 23rd. On Saturday, USPS noted that the package was enroute to me so I waited all day and the carrier came and left by 1:30pm. From there, my USPS noted were updated with "package not delivered..." And I contacted Cakeworthy and I was told "sorry for your loss. File a claim with USPS." And I replied "but how can Cakeworthy help me? Can I get a refund or another package?" I was ignored and sent a "how was our service?" email. When I went to USPS to file a claim, I saw that I have to wait 15 days for it to be missing before I file a claim. And you can only file a claim with USPS if you have priority mail. Cakeworthy had me as a customer pay for priority because the company does not seem to care at all of your package is lost, stolen or damaged. I have seen reviews of people saying Cakeworthy did not take back their top even though they wanted a different size. USPS CLEARLY has notes that state my package is just floating around somewhere so they are accountable but if your mail is stolen, Cakeworthys rep will probably laugh at you. This company is as shady as Wish.com. if I could post the replies and the USPS screen shots here I would. I will post it on my Google reviews and else where. I told the rep the tops were for a teen going back to school and I needed it before school starts and I was ignored. I have shopped with Carter's, Mini Boden and so many other clothing companies and they assist the customer and even call the carrier to get the missing package while sending a new package and Cakeworthy just steals.yoir money and has USPS replace it. They ignored me like they don't have to refund me. I will never shop with Cakeworthy again.
Not good quality
This Company feels scammy. I ordered a mini backpack for the same amount of money I could have gotten a nice loungelfy bag for. The packaging was terrible and my new bag arrived smooshed and not as good of quality as I had hoped. Feels cheap. I went to return and you can only return for store credit. I would rather not buy more subpar products from them.

The customer service was condescending and incredibly fat-shaming. They sent me an incorrect size and refused to admit that their website made a mistake. They then canceled my pending order out of spite. I never raised my voice, I never used any vulgar language, simply asked for them to replace it. The customer service I received was abysmal. I will never use this terrible, hateful company again.

Today I was emailed a response finally and they tried to blame me saying oh the emails are in my junk and spam . I went to my email and HAD NO EMAILS FROM CAKEWORTHY in my junk or spam folder so good one ! How nice trying to make me look like a fool! So you guys are stealing 50 dollars of mine ?! Is this a joke ?! They Canceled one dress didn’t get refunded the other dress no tracking information what so ever ! So nice deleting my comment for help on Instagram since your customer service form doesn’t help ! I will contact my bank and file ! I am very upset and this is the worst customer service line ever for a Disney store online ! Thank you for stealing from me and providing me no logical response . They obviously edit their item reviews because none of my HONEST reviews have ever shown up. I’ve tried several times to leave reviews and they have me verify my email, say it’s published and it NEVER is. Pretty questionable. You will never see honest reviews. I bought items that arrived damaged, of poor quality and poor quality control. You can’t get your money back, so you can only get store credit or exchange. They sent me a replacement that was just as crappy and after gently using it for a short while the design is all cracked and peeling!! A shirt I gave as a gift was blurry and the size was off. Now those things are on clearance and I feel very ripped off. Their customer service is lame too. What a joke of a company.

I would give them zero stars if I could! Talk about cancel culture, even if you leave an honest review, if it is slightly negative they refuse to publish it! Cakeworthy is a totally, rotten, deceitful, cheap, waaaay overrated,so-called company. Their subpar customer service is the worst! They ignore all customer emails, and won’t respond to any mistakes that they have made! It’s as if they are (or think they are ) above everyone and everything else, and even when they are in the wrong, they can never admit it.
Their sizing is waaaaaaaay off. I ordered a Jean jacket for my boyfriend who is a size 2X and their 2X was so small, he couldn’t even get his arms in the sleeve! Then there was embroidery issues with the jacket, strings coming out from everywhere, the stitching skipping spots throughout where the threading wasn’t filling the design in a lot of areas. Also the thread was fraying in a couple of spots!! Then when they have a lame return policy of only one exchange, even if they send you a used, and damaged, defective replacement which they did to me, you can’t return anything to them again, it’s like you are being punished.
Their clothes are extremely cheaply made, and don’t last the test of time. I have ordered a couple of shirts from them in the past, and the decals have faded to the point you can’t even see them!
No wonder they partner with Disney, you know what they say about “ birds of a feather, flock together”.

I purchased a printed sweatshirt and it arrived damaged form the cheap plastic bag shipping package. Customer service was rude and would not even hear my concern. Now that I try and return it - they say it is past the time I am able to. I would avoid this store and order Disney apparel from another licensed company. Not worth your time or energy. Too bad Disney doesn't do anything about all the poor comments about this company.
Received a defective product
Received a defective product. First time hand washing and the shirt bled destroying the yellow shirt. I wash all my clothes delicately when they are new so it was not user error. Customer service couldn’t even address me by my name and just told me “sorry about that” and that’s it. Never identified whom I was speaking to. I waited 2 months to get this shirt and they have the nerve to say I damaged it when in the wash. FAULTY PRODUCT as a shirt should not bleed like that or should have a warning on the label. Real unprofessional will not purchase from their website specifically anymore as they hire unprofessional employees who don’t care if you are a loyal customer.
Disappointing and shady
Ordered 2 items in August, I didn't know at the time that one was a pre-order as it wasn't stated until I checked back a few weeks later and then saw that the shirt I really wanted had sold out and the tote I ordered just to get the most out of the shipping fees to Canada was now a pre-order. The package just arrived here yesterday in November and I was charged for both things but only the tote bag was in the package. I wrote customer service and they said they had been shorted from the factory and refunded me the shirt. My issue is the shirt was in stock at time of ordering and a friend who only ordered the shirt the same day as me did receive theirs. So NO, you guys had them but instead of setting one aside for me until my pre-order came in like you're SUPPOSED to do, you just got greedy and sold it. It bothers me that they then just charged me for it hoping I wouldn't notice. Sure I got a refund, but just feels like a really crappy and shady way to do business. Not going to buy from them again, it's too much of a gamble. If you do buy from them buy the in stock stuff on its own and you'll have a better chance of actually getting it.
Held Up for Months and Oversold
I made an order in August that they didn't ship until October--one item was being held up, apparently, but I only found this out after repeatedly reaching out to them. When they finally shipped the other items that I ordered back in August, they told me that they oversold one item and I wouldn't even be getting it after months of waiting. They also didn't respond when I emailed about this. Don't expect to get your items in a timely manner, and don't even expect to get all of them.

Have ordered from them multiple times for their super cute AOP print shirts. Never had any issues. Patiently waiting for a Rainbow Brite, Moana, and Sleeping Beauty Fairies AOP because I will buy those from them asap!
