When I make online purchases, I will let the companies know that I will not purchase from them if you are delivering.
From lost packages. To claiming we live in a delivery black zone where you can’t deliver. To lack of communication. Unsupportive support when issues arise. It all has added up, I would rather pay the difference for shipping with Purolator or r even another courier that actually gets it to our door. Believe it or not Dragonfly and Intelecom are amazing for us and we get Amazon next day delivery to our door too. So we cat be in too much of a dead zone for delivery!
If you are running a business and looking for parcel delivery to folks that live outside of town… do not use Canpar!

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Never received my package. The customer service is arrogant and condescending. They offered no help and simply shirk responsibility for the situation. They insist on convincing me that the package was indeed delivered, telling me that they sent me proof of delivery, which contains a signature that is neither mine nor that of my neighbors. Avoid at all costs, I've been stuck managing phone calls and emails for two weeks hoping not to lose the few hundred dollars worth of what I ordered.

I ordered a sit-stand desk from Desks.ca on April 9, 2026. I live in North Vancouver. The package arrived at their Burnaby warehouse on April 16, 2026, but the tracking page was not updated until April 22, when it showed that it had been returned to Burnaby.
During this time, I called them almost every day, but no delivery was made. Then yesterday (Friday), Desks.ca told me the package was returned to their warehouse because the address was incorrect.
I don’t understand how that could be. The address shown on the tracking page is correct, and the receipt I received also shows the correct address. How could this possibly happen? I was simply told that “it just happened.”
This situation is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. How could they still survived in this industry with such poor service?!
Excessive Shipping Delays and Lack of Information
I ordered a truck grill (being shipped from Quebec to B.C) and for days there was no online tracking information available, eventually I was notified it was waiting for pick-up from the warehouse.
Two weeks later it was still waiting to be picked up???
When I ordered this part the supplier indicated 5 to 6 days for shipping (with every good intention on their part), it actually took Canpar closer to 5 weeks to deliver.
I actually do a lot of online ordering ... in future Canpar will not be on my list of preferred shipping companies.

Absolutely awful, poor customer service. Told me my package was out for delivery for 3 days but not delivered. Then demanded an extra payment to repeat delivery but returned the package to the sender

Worst in the business. Had something shipped through them 2 times, each time was an absolute disaster.
Both times it arrived over a week late with updates stopping at the Sametime and removal of expected delivery date.
This time they sent it to a 3rd party shipper, and is now lost and I have to play middle man between Canpar, the 3rd party shipper and the Store I ordered from.
Do believe the 1 star reviews. Avoid at all cost, even if it cost more!!!

Very poor customer service from Canpar Express.
I tried to contact their live chat and was connected to an agent named Encarnita, but I waited over 20 minutes with no response at all. Completely ignored.
This is unacceptable for a delivery company. If you provide live support, agents should actually respond instead of leaving customers waiting with no assistance.
I do not recommend this company based on my experience.
The awful service Canpar express
The grandmother sent a package for my children. Of course, everyone was waiting for this parcel with great trepidation. When sending, we used Meest express, as there were never any problems with them. But already in Canada, for reasons unknown to me, the parcel ended up with the Canpar express company. When tracking the track number, first one date was indicated, then another. Afterwards, I was informed that the parcel would arrive on April 13 by the end of the day, so I needed to be at home. I took time off from work for that day. But on 10.04 at 11.00, when I was already at work, I received a notification that the parcel would be delivered today, and already at 13.00 the track number was updated that my parcel was not delivered due to an incomplete address and I needed to pick it up myself. When I came home, there was a piece of paper from the company Canpar taped to the front door of the apartment building, without any information, apartment number or owner's name, just a six-digit number. I didn’t even realize that this was for me!!!
I was very indignant, because firstly
The address on the parcel was complete. Secondly, I’ve been at work since the morning and can’t get home so quickly to meet the delivery guy. Thirdly, unfortunately, I don’t have a car and have certain problems, so I can’t pick up the parcel from the warehouse myself, which is why we use delivery. Of course, I called the support service and explained the situation, but in response to all my questions and the request to send the parcel again, the girl repeated the same thing over and over again “you must pick it up yourself, your parcel is ready for delivery to this address,” and then completely turned off the conversation. I think that such service and such communication from the Customer service are unacceptable. I had to pay for the taxi and the person who eventually picked up my package. So then why did I pay for the services of Canpar?
By the way, this is the second time my parcel has reached them and they have problems with delivery. The first time I thought it was an accident, but now I will control the process and categorically will not use their services. I do not recommend it to anyone!!!

Worst courier ever
The local depot (Fredericton, NB) held my package for 5 days before delivering it to my home. There is NO express to Canpar. I will check with online stores on their delivery options before ordering. I will not use Cnpar again.

Incorrect estimate delivery date and terrible customer service
The estimate delivery date is not accurate. The customer experience is terrible. I used the Chat widget and asked for live agent. I get a greeting message 10 minutes after the agent joined the chat. I have sent my question before the greeting message after agent joined. But I only got "Hi, how may I help?". The agent doesn't read the chat history. Then, I submit my question again. I waited for another 10 minutes to get a reply. The reply is so generic, it's basically the same shown in the online tracking history. Since I am trying to contact a live agent, obviously I want to get a better understanding of the situation. The agent could have actively explained what is going on and why the delay. I have to asked again if it's because a ground transportation for better clarity.
In the end, when I share a comment about waiting to long for the response. The live agent replied "we did replied". Thanks Uzma. Good reply!

Most liar company each time you call them you are gonna get different answer from same number you called if you want a business with this company think again
Used to be great
7-8 years ago they were great in London Ontario. Now, in Montreal, they are terrible. I schedule pick-ups and they just will not show up, within a window between 9am-5pm. When they don't show up, you have to set a reschedule day. Doesn't matter, they aren't going to show up.
I use them via Shiptime, who can't even get a prompt answer from them when I reach out to customer service.
This is the last chance I've giving them. On to Nationex, who has never failed the couple times I used them.
Did not receive my package
I don't have good things about this compagnie. I call and chat with them a couple of times to know when I will receive my order. They open a case and I did have hard time to have some update. They toll me that someone will contact me in the next 48 hours, and no one call. After 3 weeks that is mark our for delivery, I finally have an email from them to tell that they successfully close my case and said that my package was delivered 3 weeks ago. It is weird because I did not receive that package at all...
Parcel not picked up in specific time outlined.
Scheduled a pick up time for a medical device specifically between 11-2PM.... time has passed and still no pick up. I phone CS and I m told there are no guarantees .. SO WHY ASK FOR A PICK UP TIME if you are unable to adhere to it? ..poor poor set up. I understand things happen and traffic..but it is a 4 hour window.... NEVER AGAIN. and I will be requesting a refund for sure.
