We would very much like to address your concerns regarding pricing; however, as no client details were provided, we are unable to locate your booking in our Care Safe system to investigate this matter thoroughly.

We'd like to clarify that Care Safe is not a conventional taxi or public transportation service. We are a highly regulated specialist provider offering bed-to-bed transportation exclusively for vulnerable adults and people with disabilities. Our services require:

• Highly trained team members with specialised safeguarding expertise
• Professional handling equipment designed for the safe transportation of vulnerable individuals
• Compliance with stringent regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 42001 certifications
• Close collaboration with the ICO office and the National Cyber Security Council
• Maintaining an excellent NHS DSPT rating

This specialised equipment and extensive training, which conventional transport providers do not offer, are reflected in our pricing structure and are essential for ensuring the safety and dignity of our clients.

You are absolutely correct – we do have automated stair-climbing carry chairs available within our specialised equipment inventory. It appears there was a communication breakdown during the booking phase, in which the specific need for step assistance wasn't fully identified or cross-referenced against our available equipment.

We want to express our sincere gratitude for your patience as we undertook a thorough investigation into your recent experience. Please accept our heartfelt apologies for any inconvenience our service may have caused you.

After an extensive inquiry led by one of our senior directors, we identified an error on our part in the destination details provided by our booking team. Discussions with both the booking team member and the driver revealed that this mistake occurred during the booking process. We deeply regret this oversight and the distress it caused you during such an important appointment.

I must commend the driver for his exceptional handling of the situation. He ensured you arrived at your appointment safely and returned home without further complications. It's important to clarify that the driver did not indicate he was new to driving; instead, he mentioned the importance of staying hydrated throughout the journey. The vehicle stalling was due to a common mechanical issue common to manual-transmission vehicles at low speeds. Please rest assured that your safety has always been our top priority.

We thoroughly reviewed the GPS tracking records and found no instances of excessive speed or rapid acceleration, reflecting our unwavering commitment to safe driving practices.

To prevent such errors in the future, the booking team member responsible has been given a final warning. As a token of our appreciation for your understanding and goodwill, we are pleased to offer you £20 off any booking over £100 with our service.
