Ain't happy to be honest

Was dealing with Vicky, who is nice on the phone and pleasant enough. But, try getting emails answered. I'm just getting emails cc'd to me from Northern Power Grid, then when you contact chargepoint EV, zero response despite paying the extra for everything to be handled. 3 emails now over a 30 day period and nothing.

The installer was good, the job itself is fine. But aftercare/support, simply forget about it.

EDIT: Its amazing how a negative review prompts a response but an email doesn't!

I repeatedly emailed to ask what you expected of me, you simply cc'd their emails to me, they didn't contact me directly. Multiple occasions i have asked and asked what you want from me, yet all emails get blanked.

Richard came to my address not long ago to fit a charge point, I wasn’t going to be in due to starting a new job. Left him a note and a set of keys and he cracked on and followed up in the evening with info he would have gave on site. Highly recommend company

From start to finish this has been nothing but a headache. I placed my order, paid the deposit, was forwarded to dopplepay who have the clunkiest finance application system I've ever used. Finally managed to organise finance, paid a second deposit for that, only for Chargepoint to then call me and tell me they don't cover my area.

There was also no email communication, automated or otherwise, apart from an invoice that was sent. Totally left in the dark and then told that apparently Aberdeen is too far away?

Shocking service.

EDIT: re the response: To inform me that I'm outside of the region AFTER I've applied for finance (which can affect my credit rating) and paid over £100 in a deposit, is absolutely a service issue.

Also, there was no assistance on Monday morning outside of me reaching out to the live chat (which I believe is external to the company) - the first contact I had was on Tuesday morning which was to tell me the order was cancelled.

Straight forward installation. Happy to answer any questions I had about the product. Would recommend service.

Fast a quick turn around and installation. Got everything installed in 2 days time. Very satisfied.

They were very knowledgeable of products and helped me with the process of purchasing an EV charger it was fitted in a few days of placing the order Richard the engineer was very friendly and extremely good at his job also explained the set-up procedure of the App for the Charger and cleaned up all the rubbish and dust at the end of the installation would highly recommend this company if you need a EV Charger

I had a great experience with ChargePointEV. Richard, who handled the installation, was fantastic — really friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He took the time to walk me through how the charger works, which I really appreciated. Everything was done neatly and professionally… although he did leave without giving me my mug back — I’m watching you, Richard! 😄

Ian from the Sales team was equally helpful. He wasn’t pushy at all, just informative and clear. He explained the different tariff options in a way that made it easy to choose what was best for me.

All in all, a smooth and positive experience. I’d definitely recommend getting your charger installed by ChargePointEV!

Shaun did an excellent job installing our home charger. He was punctual, professional, and efficient throughout the entire process. Everything was completed to a high standard, and he took the time to explain how it all works. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and timely service!

Richard was great. They installed my ZAPPI ev charger quickly and he set it up. The only issue I had was the cable run the did wasn’t the neatest as they went around a floor standing shelf unit. Other than that a great service.

After his visit is when the issues happened

After it was installed my wife noticed that they had run the cable around the bottom of my metal shelf. I had told the installers I would move the shelf as it’s light and they said not to worry they would sort it. Upon reporting this they have said first they would sort it and a day later then emailing to tell me there is nothing wrong with the install. I emailed back and said I wanted to escalate and got no response. 3 weeks later they are demanding a subsequent balance for a junction box they installed. I have refused to pay until they rectify and have been told I can take apart my shelf my self and remove it. This will leave the thick cable away from the wall and not sitting flush. I am disgusted with the support team’s response and am hoping to escalate this to one of their two directors. If I get no joy I will be contact the ECA and NICEIC.

Terrible post service from this company

The reply about resolve amicably means what? And it was not a professional installation. I see I will have to take this further rather than speaking to who ever keeps replying. Court may be the only answer if common sense won’t prevail. I feel so bullied in this situation.

I had this review under a different email but accident and was threatened with legal proceeding to not post from multiple account but Chargepointev. Scandalous
