WORST CUSTOMER SATISFACTION EVER!!!

Some of the most poorly trained, uncaring, inept, incompetent, deceitful, buck passing, uninformed, pretentious collection of useless human beings to ever be assembled in one place. I am referring to the customer service department, the titles department and executive office of wherever that clown is from that offered me a $50 gas card. For my two month long horrible experience I had with Chrysler Capital, those clowns offered me a $50 gas card. You may as well just told me to ‘F’ off. The story of my experience with Chrysler Capital is too long and convoluted to go into on this review, the crust of it is this: Totally the fault of Chrysler Capital’s mismanagement of my car title, I was without a vehicle for seven weeks and made two car payments. After finally getting my title and getting my vehicle registered, I dealt with Chrysler Capital for about three more weeks to be offered as compensation for my troubles a $50 gas card. What a slap in the face of customer satisfaction. I was asking for a refund of one month’s car payment. After that was shot down, half a month. They offered a damn $50 gas card. “SLAP” I wanted to tell them what to do with that card. Instead, I politely declined it and insured them I will never do business with them again. A big Middle Finger to You Chrysler Capital!

Traded leased car in

Traded leased car in, in Jan. Chrysler sent incorrect payoff to dealership which cause an over payment of over $3000. Shows "closed" with the over payment amount as a credit on Feb 22nd. I have been calling since the end of Feb about the over payment check and being told have to wait 60 days. Called today 04-18 was told to call back the first week of May if not received. If a customer owes money they repo your car, charge you fees and interest, but when they owe money you have to wait on them for 60 days. Looks like an attorney will be involoved in this process.

This company told me upon my father's…

This company told me upon my father's passing that he obtained credit life insurance when I called to report his passing. Asked for his death certificate and all my contact info all to never contact me again until 3 months later when they sent a repo man to take the truck. Ever since have been unwilling to work with me or even admit to the original conversation I had with there employee, no record found. Imagine that!!!!

I will never ever ever use Chrysler…

I will never ever ever use Chrysler capital again once my car is paid off!!!! Called to get a deferred payment and it did not happen.. I been sick and out of work and it put behind. I've been on time for 4 years! I'm going to refinance my car just to get from under them!! Horrible feeling to know you can't get a little help!

Horrible lease company!
When I made a payment for excise tax they apply it towards the regular payment even though I already satisfy current month payment (I found out 3 years after the fact when I started buy out process).Getting through their customer service is horrible, nobody knows anything and when I called with a problem they would be bouncing me between departments that have nothing to do with the issue.
Finally, it has been 9 months after I refinanced my car and I still did not receive a refund for the excise tax even though I was told it takes 4-8 WEEKS!!!

Worst company ever!

Worst company ever!! 7 months ago, we paid off our Jeep and still no title. It's always an excuse and waiting on a third party or blaming the DMV. Such a JOKE!!

This company is a rip off they charge extra for insurance and dont honor it i am very much disappointed with the team at chrysler capital They lied to me i could never recommend a family or friend. i was ripped off my money.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS…

Zero start STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They offer no refinancing. High interest rates and the customer services just act like robots with no emotions. My credit score is ruined and I still am stuck in this loan. They took my car and all they do is extend payments so you pay them even longer. PLEASE DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE. Go with anyone else

If I could give Chrysler Capital 1 star I would they are definitely the worst and I wouldn’t recommend them. I wish my husband and I would’ve known beforehand. We financed a 2020 Dodge Charger in May of 2020. Later in the year the company my husband was working for closed down due to COVID which left me trying to handle the payments alone it was not so bad until my father became terminally ill and I had to travel back to my hometown to care for him which then meant me missing work and exhausting all of my PTO doing so. I informed Chrysler Capital of my situation and they claimed they understood and would offer financial help. I was out of work for two months and fell behind on the payments yet I still kept I touch with them when I returned back home they told me my vehicle was up for repossession but we paid the money to get it out of repossession status and also informed the company that we could make biweekly payments of $350 until we can catch up. We were told they would document that in the system and we started making those payments as stated however the car was still reposessed two days after Thanksgiving and they told us to get it back we needed $3,100 in less than two weeks or it would go to auction. Like how in the hell can we come up with over $3,000 dollars in less than two weeks in our situation if it was that easy. Then they had a lousy company to come get the vehicle that didn’t even give me all of my personal belongings

Thou shalt not steal (Resolved)

I recently refinanced my vehicle with our local credit union, so I obtained the payoff from Chrysler Capital. Not realizing, that after reading all these complaints, what type of an offensive company I was dealing with, I could not cancel my scheduled payment. Chrysler posted my payment plus the credit union's payment. This paid the Chrysler contract off but also created an overpayment of over $1,000. I asked how long it would take to return the overpayment and I was informed their practice was to return any overpayment after 30 days. The 30 days have long passed and I thought to complaint about this gross negligence as I've financed at least twice with them and have never missed a payment in at least 10 years with them. When I came upon this site and saw the sheer number of complaints and some of the similarities of my own situation, I came to the conclusion that Chrysler Capital, just like the Wells Fargo debacle are working their profits up at the expense of the consumer. Our government is inept so don't count on them. As I read the complaints I felt really bad for everyone. You live with legal bullying by established firms condoned by those who are supposed to protect us. I'm one of the lucky one, I'm in the final stage of renal disease and won't be here much longer. Trying to reduce or eliminate my debts so my wife won't have the burden and along the way you have to endure. I'm 75 years old so I expect to be taken advantage of, it's the American way. I'm only out of about a thousand plus dollars, it's not worth the fight I would have to endure and certainly do not plan to leave this world dealing with the rogue companies of America like Chrysler Capital and Wells Fargo Bank who put a lien on my credit report for three year, ruined my credit just to find out my mortgage wasn't even with them and I have never been late. I regret this world but soon I will be in a better place. My only recourse is to forgive.

UPDATE: Since writing my review I've received the money that was owed to my family.
I still believe that these type of transactions should not take more than two weeks. The mortgage companies that I have dealt with have always returned funds in 10 days.
The document from the credit union shows payment on the 27th of October and I finally paid back on the 7th of December. I'm grateful to Chrysler Capital for ultimately paying me but I believe that a policy change is in order. Allow a person to cancel a payment. Trust is a two way street but I also have to accept that we humans will try to shirk our responsibilities and blame others.
The communication from Chrysler representatives is lacking and without proper communications we develop mistrust
Had information been conveyed more accurately or had their reps reached out to me, I would never have had to write this article.
I apologize to Chrysler Capital if my article was a little harsh, it was not deserved, but you did not make any effort to communicate with me in any meaningful way other than to tell me that the transaction would take 30 days to complete from the date it was paid. (What if everyone paid Chrysler 30 days after a payments was due) Well, it was paid on October 27. I believe that if Chrysler had a trained staff that would communicate effectively with their customers, a lot of these complaints would dissolve. I know that for myself, not hearing from Chrysler after 30 days, validated all the complaints that were written. Perception can play havoc.

Refuse to Refund Overpayment

We have been trying to get our overpayment on our lease since July. We have spoken with 4 people and each time we hear a different version of why it hasn’t been processed and they assure us it will. Last week I spoke with Thomas who assured me he was processing it and would update me by email. Nope, did not happen. Has anyone had luck taking them to court? I just want my money returned.

Rudest agent (102842) I have ever spoken to! They double charged my account and she spoke to me like I was a stupid child when I was trying to figure out how to correct it. She had a horrible attitude and kept speaking over me. I have no idea how this woman still has a job. Please pull that tape and see how she is speaking to your customers!

Beware Of Their Lease Practices

I have a 3-year lease with this company that has been enrolled in auto payments. Every payment has been pulled on time without issue, including throughout the shut down from Covid. The company apparently cancels your auto payments before pulling the last payment. I called them about this once I received the email and they said not to worry because the payment is added into my lease buyout amount. A week later my credit took a dive because they reported that my account is delinquent for the last month. When I called them about this they said that they did this because they were afraid of the auto payments taking out the last payment, and then taking an additional payment the following month. When I asked why they cancel peoples auto payments before the last payment instead of after (and before the supposed accidental additional payment the following month) they didn't have an answer except that the company would rather do it this way than to owe money back. They said there is nothing they could do about reversing the report of the accounts as delinquent, and myself and others online have to bear the burden of smeared credit because of the companies practices and not out of true delinquency. On top of that, they charge you a $35 late fee for them not taking your final payment!! Something that wasn't even mentioned to me, I had to thoroughly review my lease buy-out. Aside from this issue, the company took nearly a year of back and forth run around to send documentation to the State of Florida so that I can change my registration from New Jersey to Florida. A YEAR! An entire year of a million different people telling me a million different excuses and giving me the run around while I had no registration. Every call ended with "wait two weeks to see if it's sent" and there was absolutely nothing you can do. The state of Florida was sick of me calling to see if the documents were in. Both of these things should be criminal for what they do to people and put them through.

Chrysler "executive" customer service resolved and corrected all issues! So don't give up :)

I will never lease or purchase a vehicle from this company again (Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler). I just started my 3rd lease with this company. Chrysler Capital's auto-payment policy is to cancel auto-payment before your last payment is made. They say this is so they do not continue to collect auto-payments from customers. Well then why not stop auto-pay after the last payment is made instead? Anyway, I now have a late payment on my credit which messed up my home renovation loan I was in the middle to obtaining. They refuse to help me after many calls into them. I have been polite every time I have called. Asked for removal of late payment in "goodwill". The last person I spoke with hung up on me (conveniently disconnected).

Also, I did make that last payment over the phone immediately. One week later they called me again saying the payment was still outstanding. I checked my bank account and the payment wasn't showing. So I made the payment again over the phone. A few days later I see 2 duplicate payments. I called Chrysler Capital back and they tell me the refund takes 30-60 days. The rep said she will try to expedite this for me and put me on hold. Guess what? Disconnected.

Screwed up my buyout payment and Credit

These guys incorrectly applied my buyout payment and flagged my account as delinquent and late. Now that their accounting team fixed the error i'm still left with a messed up credit report! i call the customer service team and they say they dont see any issues... Thanks Chrysler Capital... for screwing up my credit by -52 points. I will NEVER do business with these guys ever again.

Horrible

Horrible! Sent them paperwork for a state title change for leased vehicle in August of 2020 and confirmed they received it. Found out the month I’m due to renew my registration in 2021 that they never completed their portion of the process. I’ve been without a car for weeks but still had to make my monthly payment. They have no answers, only excuses. Horrible customer service. If you miss their call, they give you a generic call back number so you have to go thru the entire process of explaining the issue again. Then they send an email correspondence to the person who left you the original voicemail about your complaint and say they’ll get back to you in 48 hours.

Thee worst car company I’ve ever been…

Thee worst car company I’ve ever been financed through. I have never had so many issues in my life with trying to make an on-time & early payment. In the past 5 months I’ve had so many issues with my payments “Not Going through, Payment was not accepted or Payment was reversed..” and the Payment each time was never returned to my account, nor was I informed about my “Past Due Status” Until it was way way past due & as to why they didn’t inform me sooner of a past due payment (have no Idea). And Each time I’ve contacted them its a new story about why, who or what has happened & each time my bank has been blamed, for there problems. I would NOT recommend using this company.

Either technically incapable or trying to steal customers’ money

Chrysler Capital is either technically incapable or they are actually trying to have their customers go past due so that they can charge late fees and extra interest. They don’t send any payment reminders before payments are due … they don’t send emails or texts if an automated payment fails … and they don’t call until after a month later when it is too late to do anything about it.
