Terrible customer service lines with long wait times. Sometimes I'll be on hold and they just randomly disconnect the call. Once you do get ahold of a representative the line is choppy and they speak... Ver mais

This has been the worst experience I have had paying off a vehicle. We have made more than 36 payments using the same process without issue. We changed the payment amount from the regular monthly payment to the payoff amount, and the payment still has not been processed.
Additionally, the customer service representatives have not been very helpful and have provided inconsistent responses. I am extremely disappointed with this process and simply want to receive the title for the Jeep.
I had the bank issue a check on 04/28 to be delivered to the payoff PO box on 05/04. It has not arrived or been processed as of 08/20. I received a text indicating a that my payment was late on 08/13. Called customer service at least four times. I was finally put through to a manager last night that was condescending and basically said the payment was late.
We decided to make the additional payment assuming any overpayments would be reimbursed.
I am opening an compliant with the CFPB.

I have called the call center the first day and was told my issue was being taken care of. The next day I received an email saying they were not going to fix the problem that they caused. I called back 4 more times that day. I was hung up on. Then the next time I was placed on hold for 40 min then the person said I'm transferring you now and hung up. When I called again I was told that they could see the problem I was calling about and that shouldn't of happened they will fix the problem but it will take 24 hours for the fix. Told me to rest assured this will be taken care of and I won't have to call back again over this issue. That was 2 days ago and the issue has not been taken care of. The call takers are very hard to understand and do not understand what you are trying to tell them. They even told me a line of bull which I knew wasn't true and I told the person that what he said was not true.

Like having insurance policy active to the transport destination weeks in advance. It makes no sense because that coverage wont be in affect during the transportation until the vehicle arrives. Gives us no choice but to have two open policies for no reason.

If I could give negative stars I would - 1 star is too many. Compared to other loan companies, Chrysler Capital is by far the most difficult to work with.
We have had several vehicles loans through them.
In the past few months we paid off one vehicle, yet it remains on our account with “invalid” as the date of next payment status.
At the same time another vehicle disappeared from our account.
A dozen “customer representatives” cannot find it. They ask us to find it on our “myaccount” page - which is the reason why we are calling - because it’s not there! 10 of the reps have “transferred” ie hung up on us.
Chrysler Capital called for a payment due last month, so I paid it over the phone. Now they have no record of payment, cannot track the customer number nor confirmation number. Then they say the payment was paid towards a different car which is incorrect, that was a different payment. My bank account proves the two different payments, they only claim one.
And then the rep goes back into the vehicle not being on our account so they won’t help us… which is why we are calling! And they hand up. The circle of insanity!
They are apparently in India or some place like that with a limited scripts to follow and cannot take in different information.
The other vehicle on our account is up to date. Chrysler Capital computer keeps calling saying our account is past due, but does not state any information regarding vehicle or account number, no less a person to speak with to resolve the issue. When we call, they can’t find the vehicle to pay on and we can’t pay online because they removed it from our account. It is ridiculous and completely frustrating to deal with them. Save yourself the insanity and use any other loan company.

Loan service was initially fine but getting a loan lien release was insanely difficult, can’t talk to anyone and then when I finally figured out the right number, they have out sourced it and want 50 dollars for the document. Horrible customer service and experience!

Wow. Just wow. Went to pay the last payment on my Jeep off 2 weeks early and I was met with a "this is an attempt to collect a debt" recorded message when I called Chrysler Capital. I also was told that I owed over 3k, which made absolutely no sense because all my payments for the last 3 years were automatic, straight from my checking.
You can forget talking to anyone from the US. I was out on hold repeatedly after asking for a manager to talk to about what was going on with my account. After 20 minutes on hold they disconnected the call. I called back, and the same thing happened. After about 20 minutes on hold I got disconnected. Meanwhile my anxiety is through the roof because I NEVER owe debts.
I finally had to call a local DEALER to ask what the 3k charge might be....he speculated it was excise tax....which is not mentioned anywhere in the lease documents. He also said that when I return the Jeep to make sure the manual is in it. I never got a manual. When I questioned it with the sales person he said that Jeep doesn't give manuals anymore because everything is a pdf. Thank God my brother was there when I got the jeep and witnessed it all.
I WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH CHRYSLER AGAIN!!!!

This company is racist! Never use! They are racist and predatorial! They know I'm disabled and a black, singal mom trying to get her oldest through college. I was sold a 2017 Chevy Equinox with a bad engine that broke down in less than a year and a half, and they done care. Reporting to the BBB immediately. I tried to offer them $2000 because I had to already do a voluntary report and get anew car asap to support my family's needs and they didn't care. I tried to work with them. They knew the car was engine was bad bc they sold it for $1500, but trying to get $17,000 from me. INSANE!

When i talked to a rep about deferring a payment was lied to on 2 acations then this poor excuse for a company sends a repo guy a 1am like a thief in the night I've been a chrysler fan since the 70s I would not recommend business with this poor excuse of a company to a blind man

I have been with Crysler Capital for nearly three years and recently I have hit a rough patch the agents and company in general has been amazing they realize things happen and they have always been great! The main thing is to communicate with them and they will always find a way to help .

My father Jackie Carper passed away in January and he wanted me to have his vehicle, so as per their instructions via phone I sent them his death certificate and requested that they get back to me with the buyoff info, never heard back from them. So I finally called them on the 9th of March 2026 after I waa finally made executor by the courts, and they told me to send the final payment via mail, I had to request they send me a buyoff letter via email to my email. You'd think I'd not have to request this, and a buyoff email would be automatically applied and sent asap, Im not sending a $6,000 check without having it in writing. Anyway its been 5 days and I still havent received an email yet and I have until the 23rd to pay it off. Not sure what's going on?

The worst company to go through when financing a truck I had no idea that a car dealership place in Lexington Kentucky will give me Chrysler capital they tried charging me 1000 or something dollars a month for a Durango for a 2019. Do not trust this company! The item was removed off my credit report and this morning I looked on my credit report. They put it back on there. Do not mess with this company.

I was wanting to refinance a vehicle loan to reduce interest rates. They told me I had to go to a dealer and sit for several hours.So, I contacted them for a payoff, the payoff they gave was supposed to be good for 14 days. I drafted a check, when I called to get a good overnight address (a day later) they notified me the payoff went up. I figured pay the larger amount and make the final payment online. I sent the check overnight, they claim it hadn't been received. My payment for this month is $0 so apparently it was received. Always a runaround with them they have not been easy to work with. Customer service is horrible and hard to understand. I would NOT ever use this establishment and would be questionable to use the same dealership for the issues.

Awful.
Their website is down every evening and night for maintenance. Literally… if you try to log in to your account online anytime after normal business hours the website is “undergoing routine maintenance”. You cannot see or do anything except make a blind payment.
If you are able to log in during the day and send them a message through the website, they will respond saying they cannot help over messages and ask you to call them. When you call them it’ll take at least 45 minutes on crackling line with somebody who is reading scripts and has no incentive to help, or really any clue.
They will also change the terms of your vehicle lease return half way through your lease and claim there is noting you can do about it.
Just awful. Stay away.
