Claire Austin Hardy Plants is a specialist mail order plant nursery that's built it's reputation on supplying quality hardy perennials. The range spans everything from classic cottage garden favourites to more unusual specimens and includes hundreds of different varieties carefully selected for their garden performance. Decades of hands-on growing experience, propagating, trialing, testing and tending to plants has resulted in the knowledge that every plant we offer is worthy of it's place in the garden. We hold Plant Heritage National Collections of hybrid herbaceous peonies and bearded irises and have received numerous medals and awards at shows including gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The National Collections include hundreds of irises and peonies, including unusual varieties not commonly found in local garden centers or at other nurseries. Our careful, effective and secure delivery packaging using recyclable materials ensures the plants arrive in excellent condition and will thrive after planting. We hope that our website and personal customer service ensures you have an informative and enjoyable experience when placing your trust in our British, family owned nursery. Excellent Customer Service team
Customer Service team have been excellent with my recent orders. On two occasions I was able to add additional items to my original order very easily. Another order was delivered in a damaged condition courtesy of Royal Mail. I contacted Customer Service who immediately sent replacement without any fuss. Wish some of the others I but from were nearly as good.
All the plants I have received have been in excellent condition.

Simply, just excellent.
Have bought from Claire Austin and her team for many years. Their plants are the best quality with a great range. Fair price and very quick delivery. The only problem is their online catalogue is so good I spend far too much each year! Maybe my fault not yours!

Really careful packaging - for the plants and the planet 🥰 - great updates throughout on where the order was and when to expect. Arrived exactly as promised. The range behind the order is just fab, its a nursery in Wales and the quality is simply exceptional. First stop always for online plant shopping .. cant wait to plant out these ( ahem… the only problem I have now is frost ….!)
