We placed an order and was told the item was currently on a 5 weeks lead time but they would supply us a thicker product at no additional cost. The 4 days delivery lead time passed with no communication. We chased up on the chat system which is very poor and not live and was told our order has not been sent and they then said its 5 weeks for delivery and then changed what said to its now available so someone somewhere is not tell the truth and they keep stalling and fobbing people off because they lied by say will send the thicker product and then lied again. Said send it on a timed delivery, 5 days passed, never arrived, we wasted 3 weeks and ended up getting a refund. If you are experiencing the same poor service you would be better to request a refund

brilliant product. made easy work of roof .replacement sheets were easy to drill cut and fix. uv protected so hopefully can endure more heatwave weather. cheap prices too

Terrible service. My order took nearly three weeks to arrive, then some items were wrong. Six weeks later I finally received everything I had ordered. Their online chat (the only way to contact them) just tell lies about when you will receive your items. Just buy locally, it may cost you a bit more, but it's worth it!
Since I added this review Clear Amber phoned me to apologise and refund my postage costs. A nice gesture, but it does not cover the inconvenience and stress they caused me regarding my order.

Just fitted 3 of the sheets on the roof of a lean to pergola outside the back door of my son's house, replacing the previous ruined plastic roof. Quality of the Corrapol roofing obviously far better than the old stuff, and the foam strips and capped screws have secured it in place neatly - would be surprised if it shifts in the wind.

Only issue we had was in cutting the sheets - the pergola tapers from 2.5 m at the front to 1.3 ish at the back. and we struggled to cut neatly and accurately with either the vibrating multitool cutter or a jigsaw with blade for plastics. We cut on the waste side and fixed the roof on, and will have to do a final trim, possibly with shears for plastics - will ask what is best. This is no criticism of the product, which is clear and should hopefully last, just a custom application that made it more tricky to cut the corrugated sheets diagonally.

Delivery was also first class - they delivered in two days direct rather than using a courier, so it arrived undamaged and the driver helped me carry it into the garage.

I’m still waiting for my delivery. They missed the 2-5 delivery promised on their website without any communication from them. They then promised 5-7 days which came and went. That have no number to call and their “live” chat responds once a day if you’re lucky. It’s been 9 days now and I still have no idea when my order will be delivered.

This is the first—and last—time I will be ordering from Clear Amber.

I placed what should have been a very straightforward order: 8 corrugated sheets (with no custom cuts) and a bag of screws. At the time of ordering, every item was clearly shown as being in stock, with an estimated delivery time of 2–5 working days.

That delivery window came and went, yet my order had not even been dispatched.

I contacted Clear Amber through their supposedly “live” chat to find out what was happening, only to receive generic, copy-and-paste responses that didn't actually answer my original question. When I asked further questions, the responses repeatedly contradicted what I had previously been told. After several messages, I finally received an honest answer: the items were not actually in stock and would not be available for another 5 weeks.

As a supposed gesture of goodwill, I was offered sheets in a longer length. This isn't really a solution—it would simply create more work for me, as I would then have to cut the sheets myself to the dimensions I had originally ordered.

At that point, I requested an immediate cancellation and full refund.

The website is also full of what appear to be misleading “discounts”, giving the impression that you're getting a bargain when, in reality, the original prices appear to be inflated to make the discounts look more attractive.

The live chat has been completely unhelpful, and there doesn't appear to be a contact telephone number where I can actually speak to a human being.

As of now, I'm still waiting for my refund.

Overall, a very frustrating experience from start to finish. Poor communication, misleading stock information, contradictory answers, and no straightforward way to speak to someone. I certainly won't be ordering from Clear Amber again.

I chose clear amber as their website stated Fast nationwide delivery. Also due to the excellent reviews.

I am really disappointed by the delivery times I have experienced. I orderered on the 8th Sept. Delivery was due by 11th. I asked for an update on the 10th and was told it would be by the 11th and to look out for the 2 hour delivery window which never arrived. Over the following week I asked for repeated updates and the date kept moving it is now 6 days late. I felt fobbed off.

I requested a call back 3 times. I eventually got a call and the customer service team were very nice. They apologised for the experience. They offered to refund delivery and a token £20 for the inconvenience.

The parts we received are of good quality and fit,
apart from one element of the guttering.

I have amended my original review to take into account the customer service desks efforts to help. However the reason we chose this company was fast delivery. Our delivery was a week later than we had been told and hence the 3 stars.

I ordered some roofing materials from this company. I received an initial acknowledgement of the order but then heard nothing. I have tried multiple times to contact them but they don't respond. They don't seem to have a phone number. I am a bit worried that they are a fake company. I would suggest that you buy your stuff somewhere else.

Unfortunately, my experience with Clear Amber’s returns process has been very disappointing.

I ordered approximately £500 worth of polycarbonate panels for my conservatory, which were delivered on 31 July. Just two days later, we decided not to use them. The panels have never been opened and are still in exactly the same packaging and condition in which they were delivered.

I contacted Clear Amber immediately to arrange a return and collection. I was advised that I would need to allow up to 21 days for them to arrange collection. Although I felt this was already quite a long time, I accepted it and waited patiently.

After the 21 days had passed, I contacted them again, only to be told that they currently had no collection dates available and that I would need to continue waiting until one became available.

It is now 17 September — around seven weeks since the items were delivered — and I still haven’t been given a collection date.

I completely understand that collections need to be scheduled and that delays can sometimes happen. However, leaving a customer indefinitely with around £500 worth of unwanted, unopened goods taking up space at their property, while also being unable to receive their refund until the goods are collected, is simply not a good returns experience.

Communication has also been frustrating because there seems to be no clear timeframe or resolution — just a request to keep waiting.

The products themselves may be perfectly good, and this review isn’t about their quality. My concern is specifically with the after-sales and returns process. For a company selling large building materials, I believe there should be a reliable and clearly defined collection procedure when a return has been accepted.

I would be very happy to update this review once Clear Amber arranges the collection and processes my refund. Hopefully, they can resolve this promptly and improve the returns process for future customers.

Would give zero stars if possible. Communication is appalling, only available by e mail or ai. Claims ai is real people. They need re educating then as some of their responses were utter rubbish. Asked by e mail for a call , twice , number provided and they never bothered even once Only good part was delivery driver placed all parcels in back garden as requested by note on porch . Well done that person . Delivery was also week later than expected.

Clear Amber a finalement procédé au remboursement intégral de ma commande, soit 213,71 €.
Je tiens toutefois à préciser les circonstances : après mes différentes demandes restées sans solution, il aura fallu que j'adresse à Clear Amber une mise en demeure par lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception.
Le recommandé a été reçu et signé le 17 septembre. Dès le 18 septembre, Clear Amber m'informait avoir procédé au remboursement intégral.
Je prends donc acte du remboursement et le mentionne par souci d'équité. Je regrette néanmoins qu'il ait fallu en arriver à une mise en demeure formelle en recommandé AR pour obtenir le remboursement d'une commande qui devait initialement être livrée sous 5 à 9 jours ouvrés.
Je conserve ci-dessous mon avis initial afin que les futurs clients puissent prendre connaissance de l'intégralité de mon expérience.
J'ai commandé chez Clear Amber le 12 août 2026 trois plaques de polycarbonate pour un montant total de 213,71 €, débité par carte bancaire.

Lors de la commande, le délai indiqué noir sur blanc était de 5 à 9 jours ouvrés.

Nous sommes aujourd'hui le 16 septembre 2026 : plus d'un mois après ma commande, je n'ai toujours rien reçu, et surtout aucune date ferme de livraison ne m'a été communiquée malgré mes démarches répétées depuis début septembre.

J'ai finalement demandé l'annulation de ma commande et son remboursement. Là encore, je n'ai pas obtenu de réponse claire répondant à cette demande.

J'ai donc été contraint d'envoyer à Clear Amber une mise en demeure par lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception, leur accordant un dernier délai de 7 jours avant de demander la résolution du contrat pour défaut de livraison.

Ce qui m'inquiète davantage est qu'en consultant les avis Trustpilot, je constate que mon expérience n'est malheureusement pas isolée. D'autres clients récents relatent eux aussi des commandes débitées mais non reçues dans les délais annoncés, des suivis qui restent bloqués, des difficultés pour obtenir une date de livraison précise et, dans certains cas, des attentes de plusieurs semaines.

Je conseille donc aux futurs acheteurs d'être particulièrement prudents et de consulter les avis récents avant de commander, notamment lorsqu'ils ont besoin de leurs matériaux dans un délai déterminé.

Je précise qu'il s'agit de mon expérience personnelle, toujours en cours à ce jour. Je mettrai naturellement cet avis à jour si Clear Amber me livre ou procède au remboursement de mes 213,71 €.

The white snapa roofing bars arrived on time and were extremely well wrapped. The bars are of a good quality and provided a professional finish for the DIY greenhouse project. Unfortunately, there was a piece missing but this was quickly rectified by a text message. The missing piece arrived within a few days. Excellent service. Highly recommended company.

Shocking delivery times, website states 2-4 days delivery but 9 days later im still waiting and they cant give me a delivery day even though they apparently use there own delivery teams
Update 18 days after the order was placed i have been left with no choice but to cancel the undelivered items and sorce them else where

Purchased in august polycarb plastic corrugated sheets.
Arrived earlier than expected.
Sheets were as exspected no damage .
Driver carried them to door through front garden for us.
Very good price would order again .
Very easy to cut as i needed 2 shorter lenghts.
Delivery i think exspensive however due to increase in fuel prices acceptable.

effectivement, j'ai enfin reçu ma commande en parfait état, j'ai eu effectivement des craintes, mais je peux dire que c'est du sérieux, bien emballée, un jeune livreur très très sympa, bravo, j'ai eu un doute, je ne l'aurait plus .très bon site de vente.

I purchased some sheets of green corrigated bitumen on behalf of my husband as he is not tech savy which is why I found later rather than sooner that a request was made for a review.
They arrived in super quick time, great delivery service, in perfect condition and I can vouch that they are a top quality product as hubby is well chuffed with them. We had attempted to by them from a few highstreet shops but he was never satisfied. With this company, it was straight forward, no problems, no fuss and not one headache was bestowed on me.(yay happy days!!) With all this in mind I can honestly say, hand on heart, I absolutely recommend this company!!

I have used Clear Amber a couple of times and the process has been very straightforward. The product is of excellent quality, the delivery service has been excellent and information updates very good. I will use them again in the future and would definitely recommend them to anyone doing a project requiring [polycarbonate sheets and associated accessories.

An excellent product, easily installed.

The length of Aluflow Aluminium Gutter arrived virtually the next day, well packed and was in perfect condition. It installed easily and it is a very robust item.
Although I only purchased a single 1 meter length to evaluate it for fitness of purpose for a client I certainly did recommend it, and when my guttering needs replacing I will definitely be replacing mine with this type of guttering.
