Bought a new to me SUV from them with warranty came to over 27K. Less than 2 months later I break down on the side of the highway. Front driveshaft needed to be replaced at a cost of over $1000. Luckily it was only just over 300 since I had the warranty. But still, 300 less than 60 days in is ridiculous. Heated seats also do not work like they said they do in the add. The last big issue I had was the delivery person doing the paperwork was very pushy when it came time to do the review which he tries to make you do in front of him. This is what is giving them such a high review.

The reps I dealt with were friendly and pleasant. The only criticism I have is that when I first completed the online questionnaire, I indicated I wouldn't be ready to sell my car for a month or two. I was quoted what I thought was a decent price. But then less than 2 weeks later, the quote dropped by $500. Even though I had said I couldn't sell right away. That was disappointing, to say the least. However, other than that, I was quite satisfied with your service.

simple straight forward selling process. Explain the vehicle and ownership details as prompted and you have a very generous quote. Dealerships take 20-25 % of market value of your vehicle and give you that number. Clutch takes only 5%. The pickup team were friendly and
give you the option to drive your vehicle to a pickup location or for a $165. fee will pick it up at your residence. As a signing fee they give you a $100. bonus which lowers the pickup fee to $65.
The pickup rep was courteous and did an inspection of the car to make sure it was you had described it and then loads it up after a bill of sale is signed and sent to my email. The money is in your account as he drives off. Great experience.... highly recommended.

It was easy to get a transparent vehicle estimate online ahead of time and a fair price for my car through selling to clutch.

I will say it was not a perfect progression especially with a problem from Carfax. After that was taken care of the sell went very smoothly. The gentleman that came for pick up of my truck was very professional knew his job and dealt with me as a person not an object. I will admit I was concerned as I have been taken advantage of and was concerned but everything was done professionally and with respect as me as a seller. The money was actually in my bank account almost the minute my truck left my driveway. So thank you Clutch for all you did you were more than fair to deal with.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Hamilton location.

I brought my vehicle in after receiving an initial offer. During the inspection, they claimed there was damage on the roof and used that as the reason to reduce their offer by $1,500. However, there was no actual damage on the roof. What they pointed out was either a reflection or normal surface appearance, not a dent or structural damage.

I felt misled and pressured into accepting a much lower price at the last minute. It seemed like the condition of the vehicle was being used as an excuse to significantly reduce the offer after I had already invested my time and was ready to sell.

My advice is to get multiple quotes and strongly consider selling your vehicle privately. In my experience, the process was not transparent, and the final offer was far below what I believe was fair and they deliberately do that. Have observed fee others being scammed similar way just nearby as I was waiting. Stay away if you want an honest evaluation of your vehicle and fair price.

Dealing with Clutch.ca was a great experience. We got a firm quote from them, which was considerably higher than the car dealership offered us as a trade-in. Clutch.ca walked us through the process with clear instructions, and was very helpful and knowledgeable when we called them mid-way through the process. On final delivery, Clutch inspected our vehicle and gave us the full value they quoted initially. Highly recommend!!
