Parkshot House, 5 Kew House, Richmond, TW9 2PR, London, Reino Unido
I enlisted Connect2Law's services in mid November and wanted to buy my house in a relatively speedy manner and I largely did as it was chain free and I eventually got the keys end of Jan. The online portal is very helpful and a great way to see where you stand with things.
This is particularly helpful and less stressful as communication with your lawyer (Mine was Steph) can be extremely frustrating trying to get an email reply or phone call back. I appreciate lawyers are busy but some more courtesy is required back. But we got there in the end and I'm now a happy customer!
They are extremely poor at communication. Sometimes they do not answer the phone, other times they pretend to connect you; they also promise to do things and then they don't. I have had the most stressful experience of my life over the last six months. Their really slow work rate us appalling and I would not recommend anyone to use them.

I was impressed with the service as somewhat skeptical of not using a local conveyancer. I was contacted regularly with updates. Adam was extremely helpful when a slight problem occurred with the buyer's conveyancer. He fought the case and I didn't have to pay extra for an insurance policy they wanted me to take out regarding access.

I would highly recommend this firm, They work extremely hard to get thing done and keep you closely update on every step. And thank you Again to Laura Unite and her team for make my first purchase as quick and smoothly as possible...
Unhappy with every aspect of the service. Rude conveyencer, had to repeat myself many times and remind of things. Sometimes I felt that conveyencer didn't read my file. Management did not seem bothered about my unhappiness. No follow up after my complaint was made. Utterly gutted. From the first day I was reassured everything will be done without delays. Had to wait for two weeks to have conveyencer assigned to me.
The delays - lots of delays - in completing my purchase transaction may not have been entirely the fault of this disastrous firm. However, the complete lack of responses to my emails and phone messages most certainly was. It was only the result of constant frustrating badgering that they managed to complete the purchase at all. Then followed FOUR MONTHS of more frustration before the title registration was completed - a process normally taking two or three weeks. When I did manage eventually to speak to a member of staff, I was left with the impression that my knowledge of conveyancing was greater than theirs.
My advice is.... Absorb the extra hundred pounds or so in fees, and choose a local solicitor upon whose desk you can bang your fist when you need an answer.

Connect2law were speedy with their work and were extremely easy to get in touch with when we had any queries. The online system they provide to keep you updated day to day is a great feature so you know exactly what is going on and how far along the conveyancing process you are. I would definitely use them again.
Connect2Law managed to get my house purchase completed in 7 weeks. I was able to communicate directly with my lawyer. They are very competitively priced. All in all a good service.
Had a very good experience with this company the whole transaction on buying a flat went througth without any hiccups and we were kept informed all the way, Debbie & Lucy were very helpful with any questions we may have had. Would use again
Transaction began 23/11/2018. I must say I have had a bad experience with connect2law. My conveyancer is currently "in my opinion" delaying my sale for no reason. None of my emails have ever been responded to. I was sent an email on 04/12/2018, that a report would be available in 3 weeks. I received it last week (06/02/2019). I made a complaint about the service received, on 01/02/2019 and this was only acknowledged on 14/02/2019. It is difficult getting timescales from the conveyancer. They did not communicate with the seller’s solicitor for over a month. I wish I had read a lot of the reviews on here, I definitely would not have used them. I just wish they finish with the transaction. It has been over 2 months and there seems to no end in sight.
Update (14/02/2019): Received a call from the Head of Operations assuring me this is will be dealt with and finally received a reply from my conveyancer. However, In two previous emails I have never been addressed by name.
Update (04/03/2019): Another conveyancer stood in for the one assigned to my case. I felt I was treated well. I was informed of every step, and queries from me were answered promptly. Now my assigned conveyancer is back.
Update (17/03/2019): it has now been over 15 weeks since the transaction began (excluding xmas and new year holidays).
Main bits of the transaction are now done, but i must point out it took a complaint escalation. I am grateful to the solicitor (Laura Unite) who handled my case in the final stages and kept me informed.
My solicitor - 5/5
Communication with my Solicitor - 5/5
The quality of their Legal work - 4/5
My account manager - 3/5
An overall score for Connect2Law - 4/5
We engaged Connect2Law July 2018 and during that time we are still have not been provided with their final report to enable us to exchange.
We call the account manager, solicitor, email them directly and very seldom get a reply. We submitted a formal complaint and were surprised that no one even acknowledged this!
Terrible service - I suspect they may be seriously understaffed.

Connect to law kept me up to date with my flat sale despite having to deal with extremely rude vendors solicitors
On 21st of September 2018 I engaged Connect2Law to handle the purchase of a flat. I visited their offices shortly afterwards to hand over the completed welcome pack. I rang two weeks later as I had not heard from them. The company denied all knowledge of receiving the welcome pack which I had handed to them at their offices. After a search, the documents were found and the conveyancing process was initiated.
I am purchasing the flat through Help to Buy. I am a wheelchair user and am purchasing a new build as the developer is able to make certain alterations to make the apartment wheelchair friendly. Contracts were supposed to be exchanged before Christmas.
I contacted Connect2Law at the end of January to ascertain as to how close we were to exchanging contracts and was advised that it should be in a about a week’s time as they had applied for the Authority to Exchange from Help to Buy as the final part of the process before we exchange contracts.
It is now the 8th of February and I have just been advised by the developer that the Authority to Exchange has not yet been applied for by Connect2Law, and that the Authority to Proceed with the apartment purchase (the previous step in the process) had in fact expired on the 10th of January 2019 and that they had not applied for an extension.
I have been contacting them constantly asking for an update. E-mails are not answered, I telephone, it rings and is not picked up. The developer has e-mailed them as well; again they have failed to respond to them, despite being given a deadline by which to respond
.
I now face the prospect of losing the flat and incurring losses connected with the purchase.

I would never recommend this firm to anyone. They had my case of property sale and I've almost lost buyers, because of this people dragging case forever with no reason for it. They never call you back and never answer. In the middle of this process I need to change solicitor for different one and after waiting over 3 months for this, the new one completed sale in one week. Now connect2law doesn't want to return my money I have paid in, I would not wait and loose my money any more and I'll put case together to Legal Ombudsman against connect2low to recover my money. It's shame that lawyers lying to you in daylight, just like this. I would never ever recommend this to anyone. Pay few pounds more and get solid solicitors, not this.

Overall very positive, everything went smoothly. I was appointed an account manager who I needed very little contact with, as the online portal is really useful for checking progress. The assigned solicitor to complete my purchase, Steph Hodgson, was very responsive, efficient, professional and friendly.

I have bought and sold a number of properties over the years and have previously found the whole experience quite unpleasant with a feeling of 'Smoke & Mirrors' created by both Solicitors and Estate Agents.
On this occasion I was fortunate to have found a buyer without using an Estate Agent and so I thought I would try an alternative to my family solicitor. Connect2Law were recommended to me and on reading reviews of their service I was impressed and decided to ask them to handle the sale.
I dealt with two people, Laura & Debbie, both were very helpful and actually contacted me when they said they would and were contactable when I needed to talk. It was a very personal service & I was given regular updates and when things looked like finishing before Christmas they did all they could to accomodate this. It didn't happen, but that was caused by things down the line out of their control.
I would certainly use their services again.
