I’ve used Coonect 2Law to buy my first property. The initial communication and required paperwork was sorted out within 2-3 weeks. Excellent and frequent communication from the company, each step was explained and discussed with me.
At the end of the process, things changed slightly as it was difficult to get hold of my solicitor at times but we ended up exchanging on the planned day.
I used Connect2Law on the sale of a flat. After some initial communication problems everything went pretty smoothly. We were allocated a very helpful and polite locally based Account Manager. Their online information chart which shows the progress of the property sale and where you are in the process is very helpful. The fixed fee package was a relief as anybody who’s sold a property knows legal fees can easily get out of hand if you hit a glitch. I would recommend this firm and use them again.
Apart from some initial communication issues, I was extremely pleased with this companies very professional and efficient service. HIghly recommend.
I have moved 14 times in my life, and have never found better solicitors. They have phoned me often and kept me updated every step of the way, also been very helpful and pleasant throughout, especially Debbie Podjacki and Laura Unite. A really good team.

Was my first experience with solicitor in Uk, and I was really worried about it. But luckily I found this great team that help me. All of them helpful and available. Also good price, they respect their quotation. No extra cost.

If I could leave 4.5 stars I would as this was over 4 but not quite 5.
Great that there is always someone at the end of the phone although sometimes service can be a little impersonal.
However the quality of lawyer/surveyor was great as well as the speed following my request of a speedy transaction.
Also available for questions as I needed some hand holding so great !
Overall would recommend connect2law and will definitely use them again shortly.
My solicitor Adam Shire was incredibly helpful throughout the conveyancing process, particularly as there was an issue with a restrictive covenant on the property I was selling. He really went above and beyond to resolve this. Adam was easy to communicate with and very responsive to emails and phone calls. I was very happy with the service received from Connect 2 Law.
We just completed on what should have been a straight-forward, chain-free property purchase, 7 months after instructing Connect2Law.
Communication was terrible throughout - phone calls and emails were repeatedly ignored and messages weren't passed on. When we complained we were simply told that they were very busy and couldn't commit to responding to every client. We felt poorly informed throughout.
Their marketing materials are misleading. We were quoted 4-8 weeks from receipt of draft contract to completion, when our purchase took 7 months, we were told that's reasonable (with no explanation for the discrepancy between their estimate at the outset and what they think is reasonable by the end of the process). We were left with the sense that our expectations were unreasonable, when they were based on the promises made by Connect2Law themselves.
We weren't allocated a conveyancer until several months into the process (despite assurances that we'd have an allocated conveyancer throughout it). At this point, the process was so rushed that various mistakes were made in the title report and, on exchange day, despite emailing to ask for our consent to proceed, our conveyancer exchanged without waiting for it (he mis-read an email from us querying the completion statement as permission to proceed). When I complained I was told these errors were 'minor', which I found quite shocking.
I only wish Connect2Law would be as prompt in responding to their clients and doing their jobs as they are in trying to suppress negative reviews on this site.
All in all a very stressful experience.

They acting very professional every time you need them immediately. At some point we get stuck because of humans mistaken and all the senior managers get involved and the case moves smoothly all throughout the end.
We had selling and buying transaction a very stressful case, you do not expect to by easy, being realistic.
We did bother them many times, some time forced by estate agents, they are a big pain, and they answered all the time.
My allocated conveyancer has replied to my enquirers out of office time and she was very dedicated professional, as all others
At the end please ignore my seller feedback LeeU, he was a pain from week two. He starts threat us with puling out and never stops up to completion day. That was the worst part and most challenging part for all of us.
I do recommend connect2law, they worked very hard on my case, not easy case, legal support team, coneyncer and senior managers a big thank.
Connect2Law were recommended to us by our Estate Agent and they have been great and everything has gone really smoothly. Special thanks to Laura who knew we were stressed about selling Mum's flat and releasing funds for her care and has been wonderful. Would recommend them and definitely use them again.
I'll never use this company again.
Unfortunately is not possible to give 0 stars. They did change the lawyer many times without telling me nothing, so I was sending email and nobody never reply. When I tried to contact them on the phone it was impossible at the beginning, they contact you just when they need you. Also they said they received all the enquiries, but when I checked at least 5 where missing.
They didn't tell me to send their fee before the completion date and I couldn't complete the relocation booked for that date, and instead of complain or offer me a refund they want to charge me extra costs.
After my first bad review they did contact me, they did the completion in 1h and after that they sent me a refund. BUT their manager promise me to investigate on my case, and let me know after few days. This almost 2 months ago, but since I deleted my first review he just disappear, after 4 email and also a call... I'm still waiting for a reply to obtain the documents related to 'my' house.
As I said I'll never use this company again.
Good experience with Connect2Law solicitors, they handled the selling of my mother-in-law's property successfully, as this was all done with a deputyship acting on her behalf.
A very tough experience.
We had a conveyancer (Who I am apparently not allowed to name) who would seldom reply. I spent my life on the phone chasing her. Even post completion when I was owed money back she never replied, and I had to chase, not getting a response for 1 day shy of two months. Our process was extended my multiple weeks due to the slow reply rate of our conveyancer at Connect 2 Law. In general she seemed disinterested and was very unhelpful. It took us sending an email to their partners to get any response at one point.
I chose connect2law for there competetive price and supposed expertise, however i experienced four and a half months of hell whilst the sale of my flat was dealt with by an incompetent conveyancer. During this time i raised my concerns with the customer service manager and also frequently with the said conveyancer and yet no action was taken and my case was not reviewed by a senior conveyancer despite the sale taking a very long time. My buyer got covery cross on several occasions with my said conveyancer and there incompetence and lack of organisational skills , she eventually suggested that i write a review on trust pilot which i did and then things changed. I was contacted by the CEO assigned a very competent and lovely solicitor who managed to complete the sale of my flat within a month . However this does not change the poor service i received beforehand from the conveyancer and the customer service manager should have listened to my complaints and escalated them to senior members of the conveyancing team.
Excellent service the whole of the property sale was speedy and completely hassle free. Many thanks to Adam Shire and everyone
Thank you Laura Unite and Debbie for a fast and professional help in selling my mothers property - took all the stress away and kept me informed at every step - thank you
fantastic service.
I recently purchased my council house under the right to buy scheme, and chose connect 2 law to help with the process.
very smooth and stress free experience.
would recommend.
many thanks to noel.
Excellent and efficient service. Very satisfied with the prompt and friendly service received.
We were recommended Connect2Law by our estate agents at Nested. Initially there was a bit of difficulty in getting through directly to our conveyancer via the telephone and it was a bit confusing with all the different legal teams that were also overseeing the case, however once I started emailing our conveyancer Laura Unite directly, she was absolutely brilliant in getting back to us in time via email. Laura and Stuart Tite both managed to help us feel at ease in this long and stressful process of selling our home and purchasing our new one. Overall, their services were great and we felt like we were in capable hands.
My
experience with Connect2law was outstanding. There was always clear and precise information and the customer service skills of the conveyancing department were fantastic.
I would highly recommend Connect2law if you are buying or selling a property.
