Initial 'phonecall answered in a reasonable time. Staff appear well informed, polite & friendly. Rather long - winded explanation of terms & conditions; but offered suitable policy at a competitive price. Have also purchased travel insurance with CSIS.

Very helpful

The friendly and super efficient staff who seemed to able to explain complex issues so as to be easily understood. The attitude of each member of staff I spoke to displayed a willingness delve into issues without creating any form of pressure or time constraint.

Recommend by a friend, I needed travel insurance however online quote's were astronomical,£1700 for 1 year. I decided to join the scheme that enabled me to get a membership number so that I could phone and get a quote. A very nice man went through the necessary information and quoted me £599 for 2 of us,I immediately accepted.This insurance company came well recommended ,my friend had an accident on holiday and had excellent service.

Seems good so far
As I approach the magic age of 80 my existing travel insurance won't cover me & I have had good reports of CSIS. Their cut off age for a new policy is also 80, but once taken out, there is no age limit. I have no plans for a holiday before the next renewal date which is 1st June 27 but at least I can now renew.
My questions about the renewal costs were answered clearly & although you never know how good the policy is until you have to claim, I am happy with the service.
