Cancelled my flight. Did not refund automatically so now having to go through the drawn out process of claiming the refund from them. Booked in English but suddenly all emails in Romanian, presumably to make it that bit harder to claim my refund. Costing me £128 more to book an alternative flight now, than it would have just to have booked with Wizz or Ryan Air at the time. Like everyone else has written, do not book with these jokers.

Dan Air is the worst airline I have ever dealt with! One flight was canceled, and another was delayed for no valid reason—just because they felt like it. No proper explanation, no respect for passengers, and zero professionalism. They don’t care about your time, your plans, or your money. The communication was awful, and their customer service was useless. If you’re thinking about flying with Dan Air, don’t! Avoid this airline at all costs!

No merece la pena ni mirar los vuelos , porque no son seguros te haces un plan y después te manda E-mail con que se anulo el vuelo . Dan pena

The flight was delayed over 9 hours in August 2024. The company did not repliy to any of my emails regarding compensation until a formal complaint was put in at ANPC. Even now they don’t reach out unless ANPC contacts them .The requested information was given to them on several email , but even so they continue to tell lies and not reply .Totally unprofessional and misleading. I do not recommend them . Please do not book Danair if you want a good service .

I had to cancel my flight ticket.
No options to do that even if it was 1 month in advance. Had flight insurance which took 3 months to be declined and I can say it was my worst experience ever.

I picked them for my first Christmas back home in 7 years on the route Liverpool-Bacau. Everything was fine, only a delay on the way back, however, all the other airlines in that period has canceled people flights but DAN air which took me back and forth safely.

Thanks Dan air for taking me home for Christmas.

If I could give 0 stars, or even minus I absolutely would. Do not fly with this company if you can help it.

There’s so much I could say but the biggest issue I’ve faced was a cancelled flight less than 24 hours before departure, okay they refunded the tickets but compensation was not given despite multiple tickets to their support team which were just ignored. In the end I did a lot of investigating to ensure I could claim compensation, which I could, and then raised a case against them with the CAA. Seven months later and the result is I am entitled to compensation however Dan Air did not respond even to the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) so now my only option is to take them to court. Looking at other complaints I’m not the first this has happened to and frankly it’s disgraceful their lack of accountability.

I had bought two premium fares tickets. I had to buy premium tickets to be able to bring a 10 KG mediuj bag on board, as the regular fare did not allow a 10 kg trolley bag on board ( any other airline includes a 10 kg bag with their regular fare but not Dan air). Anyway, the premium fare included free seats selection and airport chek in. 48 hrs before take off, Dan Air app and website did not allow for online check in. It said system error, contact admin. I thought maybe it was something to do with the airport as it was a small town airport so just left and silly me did not take a screenshot of the errors. At the airport, Dan Air charged me 15 euro per passenger to do the check in at their desk, because " i had no proof of the online errors and even if our premium fares included airport check in) They also gave us different seats than the ones I had chosen and paid premium fares for. We felt mugged and disrespected. I'd rather take a train than fly with Dan Air again.

First time I flew with them I got an 8 hour delay, return flight was delayed by around 2 hours.

2 nd time I used them they arrived on time but had some 30 min delay while waiting in plane. Return flight we have a 1:30 min delay.

Only use them because they land in the city I want (Bacau) and they are the only current option.

In the past other companies did the route and they were all good with minimal delays.

I waiting for my fly 9 h I ask for my money back for 3 ticket 2 adult 1 child and money no coming back in our pocket don't trust Danair

If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would.
Waited 8 hours delayed 6 with no contact from the airline to let us know what was going on.
We were locked in departures at Bacau and had to call the Police to let us out.
Never use this airline.

purtroppo non c’è niente di positivo da dire. ore e ore di attesa per scoprire che il volo è stato cancellato e la destinazione d’arrivo dell’aereo sostituitivo è stata cambiata da bacau a bucarest. noi viaggiatori siamo stati lasciati soli, e la stanchezza è tanta. il decollo era previsto alle 8:50 e sarà effettuato probabilmente alle 3:30 del mattino del giorno seguente. avrei anche dato zero stelle ma non si può purtroppo e ho più occhiaie che altro.

La pire compagnie de tous les temps. On attend des heures parce qu'il y a du brouillard, ne réponde pas aux e-mails. Ne s'excuse pas puis les pilotes et autres profesionel ont embarqué dans un avion quelques heures après. Il y'a eu peut de personne pour notre embarcation.Nous avons du changer d'aéroport et prendre la compagnie wizz air.

Worst company ever. We are waiting for hours because it's fog they say. Never heard this excuses on any other airport or company. we landed with 0 visibility sometimes and all was fine

Il volo di oggi da Roma a Bacau, purtroppo non può migliorare con niente questo compania aerea, se se può nominare così. Una marea di persone stanchi e con bambini piccoli, aspettando una risposta credibile, dicono che a Bacau c'è nebbia, ma è calo sereno e sole, vergogna. Per che hanno licenza di volo questi? Le autorità competente per che non si muovono?

Nu recomand compania Dan Air!

O companie de doi lei dacă puteam dădeam -stele nu merita nici o stea am avut bilete dus întors cu aceleași bagaje de mâna și la întoarcere am plătit 60€ extra pentru bagaje , doamna de l Bacău ffff nepoliticoasă fără 7 ani de acasă . Acum am înțeles cum e ieftin și prost nu as mai zbura cu ei 🤮

Purtroppo compagnia non affidabile, prenoto volo ad agosto 2024 per febbraio 2025 per Bacau Romania,mi arriva il 10 novembre mail annullamento volo.Unica cosa positiva il rimborso fatto in 1 settimana e Comunque comunicazione ok.risposte mail veloci.
