Appalling service! Ordered a dress from AX Paris through this market place. 17 days after returning still waiting on my refund. Doubt I will ever receive. £53 down! Do not purchase anything

The worst company to purchase from! Please do not give them your money! They will either not deliver your goods, or not refund you if you change your mind and want to return anything! They have held on to my money for 3 weeks now. Return was confirmed as received! This company are causing me untold amounts of stress and so much time

Horrible experience..I ordered a lamp shelve and used the coupon FREEDEL which is meant for having a free delivery..
I was still charged delivery fees and delivery protection charges..there is no transparency..I only realised this when I checked the amount debited in my bank app as the extra amount does not show till the end. This feels like cheating the customer.
Pathetic customer service..no telephone number..communication on email, watsapp which is just AI generated replies..no proper response.
I wish I should have seen the reviews..would never recommend it to anyone

I feel sick knowing that hundreds/thousands of people are battling with AI and non-customer service to get their money refunded.
Debenhams is now owned and operated by Boohoo. Both their Facebook pages are full of angry people. I'm contacting PayPal and Resolver next. This is THEFT.
I returned items on 27th September. Inpost confirm the parcel was back with Debenhams on 17th October. I've had zero contact, and you can only speak with a chatbot on WhatsApp or Messenger. AVOID!!
Update: I had to chase it up with PayPal to get my money back. Please do the same, your bank, credit card company, etc., is the way to go. Or use the Resolver service. This company has gone down the tubes.
Awful experience
Awful experience. Awaiting missing refund now over a month. The only way to contact through whatsapp. Now its 10 days since i provided the tracking numbers on whatsapp (including for the item delivered back 5 weeks ago) and questioned delivery guarantee charge that was automatically added £18 withouth me noticing as ihad quite large order and still nmo refund. Question about them addign delivery guaratee (???) charge on my behalf was essentially completyely ignored. Worst service ever. Never will shop at Debenhams again or Dorothy perkins as the same whatsapp number and the same service.

Unfortunately I didn't pay with a credit card - which could then be disputed. However, as their head office is Manchester UK based, I will try using the small claims court or a refund.

Did not receive refund
Ordered 2 pairs of shoes, arrived promptly and happy with purchase as true to image shown on website.
Returned one pair over a month ago, received email confirming reciept of shoes . Still waiting for refund, no comunication at all, despite sending numerous requests. Eventually reported via Paypal and received a refund via their system.

Bought two items thought they were both from Debenhams so I thought it would be trustworthy. The item from Debenhams company itself arrived. The other item arrived and it was from a marketplace seller which I hadn’t realised when I placed the order and contrary to the picture online showing a lovely little gingerbread house what came was a piece of plastic with a picture of a gingerbread house on it. I’m having difficulty returning it. I have had one reply asking me if I would have £3 off my price as a refund and I have said no I want a full refund. However, you cannot return it until they give you the return address to send it to.This is shocking that they are allowed to get away with selling rubbish and scamming people all under the heading of Debenhams be very wary or do not buy from Debenhams at all.
Since everybody started buying online after Covid, scammers and con artists have taken this opportunity to build up their business and rip people off more and more. I am buying less and less online now and I would prefer to go into a store because I have been scammed three times in the last year on items bought online

This is the worst 2companies in the world to deal with when it comes to returns I will not be buying from them again. I have tried to set up a return 4 times without success. I gave up the last time I tried to return and lost my money I will not let this happen this time. I am talking of Debenhams and Wallis equally as bad.

I purchased an item from 'Debenhams' online thinking it was the store previously on the high street, !wrong! When the item was received it was of Chinese origin, unlabelled and of poor quality. I have e-mailed the company re their returns procedure and have received no reply as yet (considering other customers experience I am unlikely to).
Hence, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY it is a conduit for scam businesses and a bare faced rip off which should be investigated by the UK Trading Standards Authority.

Debenhams have all the order details bits still don't know who owes me what for what. Awful, stressful procedure and I will never buy from them again.
