Dreadful company. Rude ,and try to extort money by claiming car is damaged. If you are unfortunate enough to use this company, ensure you take many photos of car damage. Miss it and they will charge you. AVOID this company.

Des escrocs ! Fuyez !!!! Vous payez une assurance non justifiée alors que vous avez déjà payé à l'avance !!! Je me demande comment les employés arrivent à se regarder en face en arnaquant chaque jour des centaines de touristes !

In Malaga. Vooraf betaalde auto huur. Inclusief gedeeltelijk verzekering. Via Vueling, dan via Car Trawler, en vervolgens zonder dit echt te hebben gezien weer bij DelPaso geboekt.
Bij aankomst met een busje van vliegveld door de poort van Delpaso geloodst.
Ik heb een persoonlijke creditcard (master card).
Ik ben de bestuurder en overhandig mijn paspoort rijbewijs boeking, online betaling (alles op mijn naam).
Creditcard wordt geweigerd en ik word voor de keus gesteld: of betalen van 253€ extra of geen auto. Vervolgens mag ik die 253 € wel met dezelfde creditcard betalen die men in 1e instantie weigerde! Men lacht naar me terwijl ik niet echt kan lachen. Als ik daar dan wat van zeg: dat ze lachen maar dat ik niet kan lachen, zeggen ze dat ik onbeleefd ben en loopt de persoon in kwestie weg. Komt een ander persoon die me weer een wortel voor houdt: Er is schijnbaar geen alternatief: of geen auto of betalen.
Het argument was: voornaam moet op de creditcard staan om dat ze anders van Car Trawler geen geld zouden krijgen? Anti-fraude beleid van Car Trawler??

Fraude plegen met als smoes dat ze wel moeten om fraude tegen te gaan… De retoriek van bedriegers. Frappant is dat ik al Narcos (netflix) vibes kreeg toen ik in t busje de poort door reed..

We had terrible experience with DelPaso. You would expect these days to have some customer service courtesy of finding a suitable solution for you if you dont have a flight number.
At any place of the reservation, it didnt say a reservation number was needed.
Big minus to DoYouSpain also as a broker of not handling this in a proper way by having their client to walk around to other rental that could accept their Full-covered insurance.
I cannot recommend this at all!
We have tested several other car rentals in Malaga and never,, I say never have a client been turned down if you dont have a Flight Booking Number.
AND yes, we can be tourist or visitors, but never should a client be turned down from an office to find another solution, right?
They had a fleet of other cars from cheap to expensive waiting for clients, but it seems too much of work to work with "Paying customers"

Oszuści omijać szerokim łukiem. Nie wydali mi zarezerwowanego i opłaconego auta zarezerwowanego przez EconomyBooking najpierw próbowali wcisnąć dodatkowe ubezpieczenie a jak stanowczo odmówiłem udawali że nie mam środków na karcie w końcu powiedzieli że nie wydadzą auta. Przy złożonej reklamacji stwierdzili że nie zwrócą pieniędzy bo nie zaakceptowałem polityki paliwowej co jest kłamstwem.

Ze vragen een volledige voornaam op de creditkaart, echter heeft de creditkaart in Nederland alleen initialen en de achternaam.
Ze vroegen 350,- extra terwijl er al 270 is betaald

Une franchise de 1500€ exigée et prise sur une carte de crédit, puis ils ont trouvé une insignifiante rayure sur la porte côté conducteur, ils vous font signer un document et vous prélève 193,60€.
Ils savent que nous avons une assurance et qu'il suffira de déclarer cela à l'assurance pour un remboursement incertain. Bizarre document standard fait en 2 minutes, du copier/coller pour les autres clients. Plus jamais Delpaso.

Terrible, they will try to double the price you have paid by finding loopholes and requiring a credit card we did not have, despite being happy to take a debit card for the extra insurance they tried to sell us. Refused to give us the car we had paid for in full unless we paid the extra and then refused to give us the car at all when we said this was unfair. Two other returning customers at the office had similar experiences. A scam.

Une étoile car on ne peut pas en mettre zéro ! Des escrocs agence de location à fuir !
On m’a annulé ma réservation, j’apprend cela une fois arrivé sur place. La pas de solutions à part payer une nouvelle réservation sur place car coincé dans l’agence à 21h avec un bébé et pas de solutions à cette heure ci.
Résultat 2 véhicules payé pour n’en avoir qu’un. Service client médiocre, zéro remboursement.
Personnel très mal aimable en plus d’être des escrocs.

Arrived for a €72 euro booking. Was told there is a €90 non refundable charge on top of my 72 euro cost. I said no there is a 500€ deposit.
Long story short these conmen started making stuff up like its full to empty rental(voucher is full to full) etc etc

Up to the point I was told you pay the 90nor you can take the shuttle back to airport without the car.

NO REFUND. Thy just stole my money with the help of there thieving partner DoYouSpain

AVOID. Use a real booking site and a real company like europecar

Arrived the night before my car hire was due to start, went to pick up the car in the morning to be told the hire was invalid as the car hire has to be on the same day as my arrival! It’s in the small print so should you decide to use this company make sure you read the terms as it would appear they have a have a fair few money making schemes in there! Would never use again

Basically booked the car via Holiday Autos with my credit card, I have used them for many years and always been great.
Last week I hired a car in Malaga booked via Holiday Autos which was with their local agent Delpaso.
On arrival at the Delpaso desk I handed over my documents only to be told my credit card (which I have had for 20 years) only quotes my initials and not my first name !
The agent was rude and said I must provide a debit card or I can’t have the car !
She duly charged me EUR200 non-refundable!
This practice is totally unacceptable as she wouldn’t even put my credit card in the machine !
If I get a refund I will take this review down but I am very angry as this charge was more than the actual cost of hiring the car which I paid for using the same credit card.
This is nothing more than a money making scheme as a credit card is PIN protected so the name is irrelevant!
Totally wrong and I will take it further unless I get a refund !

Our experience was awful from start to finish. Our flight was delayed by just one hour, and they slapped us with a €40 fee for being late. Then they refused to accept my credit card for the deposit, which forced us to pay €100 for an insurance we didn’t even want instead of placing the standard €1500 deposit. Total scam. And to top it all off, the driver who picked us up from the airport drove like he was in a rally race. It was terrifying. None of the passengers felt safe and we actually had to shout at him to slow down.
Terrible service, terrible attitude. Avoid this company at all costs !!

Scammed, wouldn't accept my credit card as had initials so forced to pay for insurance 3 times the rental cost when had already paid for excess insurance from third party when booking. Never had this happen with any other hire company. Was happy to cancel and look elsewhere but they wouldn't let me so nothing you can do.

They will find any way to charge you extra! Watch out if you have bought the additional insurance from others. They will look to charge you for theirs which is much much more than the original car hire. In charging you they will do it with a smile on their face! I recon they get part of this as a bonus!

Avoid Del Paso.

Reminder email states the usual documents in bold that are needed eg Driving Licence, credit card, passport etc.

In smaller print - "no abbreviations". I missed this, but would have been unlikely to have thought it was an issue.

Arrive at the desk and neither Barclaycard nor AmEx credit cards were accepted due to it having first initial and surname, instead of full first name.

The only option was to purchase their insurance at triple the cost of the rental.

They said other companies also have this policy. I asked them to name one, and with hesitation they said Sixt. I said this was a lie as I have used this company, and they back tracked.

Del Paso was based off site from the airport so it is very difficult to opt for another company at short notice in a hurry.

It is my belief that Del Paso has this sneaky policy designed to force people to take their insurance.

On arrival back I was one bar off the full tank, and they took 15 Euros cash to solve it, not invoice or receipt given.

I'll never use them again, neither should you.

Une fois arrivée sur place, ils m’ont obligé à souscrire leur assurance supplémentaire pour un montant de 200€ au motif que mes 2 cartes bancaires ne portaient que l’initiale de mon prénom.
Personnel extrêmement désagréable.

Wat een flut maatschappij. Gezeik over creditcard en onaangename behandeling door het personeel. BOEK HIER NIET (!!!!)

Wouldn’t even give a star. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! Welcoming initially then after dropping the car back and being rude to me for being 10 mins late (even though I was queuing to see them for 15 mins) an obnoxious lady ushered me to the vehicle I’d returned to find every tiny imperfection (including dead flies). Had to scratch them off with my finger nail. Luckily I’d taken plenty of photos to point out every tiny thing. When she couldn’t find a fault she then told us we were banned from Delpaso and was wiping us from the system. Desperate to get extra funds from us. So many people must get caught from this company. DO NOT USE!!!

BE WARNED. If you have your own EXCESS INSURANCE policy then you MUST HAVE INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENCE. They will not let you take car. Only if your either produce the Intl Licence OR pay for their insurance at approximately 20euros per day. We got caught out. Off to get an International Drivers Licence for £5.50 now we are back in UK.
My fault for ignoring their T&C because they never used to need this. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
