Thank you for getting in touch and we're sorry to hear that there's an item that you were expecting missing from the consignment.
Is this perhaps the item that is on backorder?
We can see that you placed your order at 5.50pm on Monday the 25th of May after our cut off time so we processed it the next day.
One of the products you ordered was on back order at the time you placed the order, this is indicated at the cart stage with the following prominent notification:
"We don't have the full quantity you requested, but we'll back order the remaining 1 which will be sent as soon as we have it in stock - Usually within 5-10 working days."
An email confirming this was also sent to you at 11.43am on the 26th May saying:
"Items on your order that are shown here with a quantity lower than you ordered, or with a quantity of 0 showing, are on back order and will follow automatically as soon as we receive them.
Back ordered items are usually dispatched within 5-10 working days but this can vary."
It's been 3 complete working days since you placed your order and we would expect that item to be with you within the estimated timeframe of 5-10 working days that was given before the order was placed and confirmed via email as soon as we processed it.
We are sorry if you missed either the notification at the cart stage or the follow up email that confirmed that; one of our team will be in touch to check if you're happy to wait, would like to cancel that item or see if there's an alternative that you'd like to switch to.

I have always found Dental Sky very easy to work with, particularly when dealing with Nathan. He is consistently helpful, reliable, and ensures that suitable substitute products are available when needed. Nathan also keeps me well informed of any price increases in advance, which is extremely useful for planning and budgeting. It is always a pleasure to deal with him and I would highly recommend both Nathan and Dental Sky for their excellent service.

Pathetic service
Pathetic service! Been using Dental Sky from last year and placed many orders. Multiple times i have received issues from their customer service and accounts manager. First they used to delay order deliveries and once they sent to wrong address and their account manager was rude and kept complaining we used wrong address , which later was admitted and their customer manager refunded and apologised and again now facing same delay issue, paid in advance and items never arrived more than a month and no one from their team approached after attempting 2 times their account manager said items in on back order and don’t know delivery date. More than a month i paid and i have to chase them and their customer service team doesn’t even bother to respond.
Had this situation before they sell item and later say its on back order and as a customer we have to chase them for delivery date. If item is not in stock why don’t you mention on website.
After several times this issue i am

Good afternoon,
Thank you for getting in touch and we're sorry to hear you've experienced a delay in receiving your order, this seems to be because the item you ordered is on back order with us.
When you order items that aren't in stock we automatically put them on back order for you to be sent as soon as they come back into stock.
This is detailed on our shipping advice: https://www.dentalsky.com/shipping-and-returns
A notification also pops up at the cart stage before the order is completed in a prominent box with an exclamation mark saying:
"We don't have the full quantity you requested, but we'll back order the remaining 6 which will be sent as soon as we have it in stock - Usually within 5-10 working days."
In this case the estimated timeframe has passed unfortunately, we do state in our shipping advice that these are estimates and the timescale can vary but we do agree that it's been a longer than expected wait on this occasion, so we apologise for that wait.
It's currently a bank holiday weekend so our offices are closed until Tuesday; once the office reopens one of our team will reach out to you to give you an update on this to see if you want to continue to wait, cancel the order or choose an alternative item.
Apologies once again for the longer than expected wait for this item and we'll be in touch after the bank holiday to try and resolve this to your satisfaction.
