I bought a 125cc venom moped a few weeks ago and I have to say I'm extremely satisfied with my new moped. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and ready to answer ant questions I had. The moped arrived on my selected day of delivery and documentation was quickly followed by post. Great service all round. Thank you!

Fantastic scooter
Got a scooter 1 year ago and waited until now to review it. I can confidently say I am very satisfied with the purchase. I was looking for a change in pace from cycling to work. This scooter definitely delivered on that, it is a blast to around and cut my commuting time down substantially. I've ridden around 10 miles every day for past year and it still looks and tides like new. The quality of components including the tires and bearings makes for a super smooth ride! Thank you so much for a fantastic scooter.

Very disappointing after-sales service…
Very disappointing after-sales service from Direct Bike. No proper phone support, slow and dismissive email responses, and important documents sent through untracked post.
Spent over an hour with the DVLA only to discover registration could take 4–6 weeks with no support from Direct Bikes.
The company hides behind terms and conditions instead of taking accountability for poor customer experience.
Regret choosing Direct Bikes over more reputable and customer-focused brands.

Your statements are factually incorrect.
You state that there was "no proper phone support". Direct Bikes provides customer support via email and customers may request a telephone call-back where required. Assistance was therefore available throughout the process.
You also state that important documents were sent by untracked post. We do not state that we send out documents through tracked post and there is no need for this. Registration documents are sent separately by First Class post, and this information is clearly disclosed on our website before purchase. The FAQ section explains that registration packs are supplied separately by post, We clearly notified you on 2nd May 2026 by email that you registration pack had been sent my post. See below link to screenshot.

At no time did you reply with any issue with this service which is standard in our industry. The DVLA also send their documents by standard post. We can always supply replacement documents quickly if ever needed.
With regard to registration times, vehicle registration is administered by the DVLA and is outside our control. Our Terms and Conditions, which were accepted during the ordering process, clearly state that Direct Bikes is not responsible for DVLA processing times, delays, or errors. You will need to review the DVLA accordingly.
We also disagree with the suggestion that we provided no support. Our records clearly show that we responded to your correspondence and explained the registration process in a timely manner.
We also note your statement that you "regret choosing Direct Bikes over more reputable and customer-focused brands."
Direct Bikes has traded for many years, supplied thousands of customers across the UK, and continues to provide warranty support, parts, and customer assistance to its customers. We therefore do not accept the implication that Direct Bikes lacks reputation or is not customer-focused.
Whilst we respect your right to hold a personal opinion regarding your experience, we believe the statement does not fairly reflect our business or the service provided in this case.
