I can NEVER work out how to cancel auto renew on a couple of domains I have and year after year you bill and bill and bill but Swan was so patient and talked me through how to do it. He was so patient and polite. I know you may be thinking you don’t really want people to cancel their auto renew but this was making feel so angry at how difficult it was and now it’s resolved so I’m left with a positive experience with Domainz and would like to thank Swan so much for his help. He is a gem!

First of all - I am an 'unusual' respondent simply because I once wrote a book on measuring & manager Customer Satisfaction.

1. I received emails from Melbourne IT 30 days then 5 days before avo2go.com expired. Yet when I messaged them online they (a) had no knowledge about this domain name. (b) couldn't seem to find the emails. (c) After a couple of hours they recommended I contact Domainz.

2. When I phoned Domainz the guy I spoke 2 was very difficult to understand. His English was exceptionally poor. He could find no trace of avo2go.com in the Domainz system and seemed to question whether I actually owned it.

3. I located the receipts I have for payments to Domainz for this website. I copied the details of one receipt to Melbourne IT but they still couldn't help.

4. So then I called Domainz back again and was connected to someone who had excellent English. I gave him the last invoice number so he could supposedly look up the invoice. ...... I wasn't actually sure he found the invoice as there seemed to be all sorts of questions about my email address, the avo2go.com address.

5. Anyway this guy was exceptionally helpful and allowed me to pay over the phone to renew my subscription. This was more than 4 hours after I had started what should have been a simple process.

6. I received all the receipts etc. Then at 10.01pm i received this email from Domainz which suggested my file hadn't been updated to reflect the payment I had made:

In my books this was a ridiculously poor customer experience.

Then finally to 'cap-it-off' you don't allow any products that you market to be mentioned in these communications. Isn't it 'crazy' that you don't allow any Domain names or email addresses??

....... You wouldn't expect to see (say) an ice cream shop banning the use of words like 'ice' and 'cream' on their customer satisfaction surveys.

Jack sorted out my problem with emails straight away which I appreciated

Patience with my slowness and questions. Good knowledge and user friendly verbal directions ans assistance to achieve success of logging back into my account, web email.

Tris is amazing. I have never encountered such a patient and detail-oriented customer service representative.
