After Spark changed the e-mail over a week ago they were excellent assisting me setting up. To complete the changeover the MXrecords need to be changed.
Approached Domainz.net.nz last Tuesday (14th) and after 8 days many e-mails, several phone discussions the were provided with all the minute detail the demanded last Monday morning. After 2 days 3 e-mails (no responses) I am still without e-mail.
I could not get through to a senior Company officer as{privacy issues} prohibited this.

In summary I have never dealt with a more incompetent, unhelpful and punitive company. In no way would I advise anything other than to deal with any other company.

Domainz.net.nz is a terrible, terrible company and I have had an awful experience with them. The subdomain of their website where you access your account (and to which you submit your username and password) doesn't have a proper TLS certificate, and hasn't had for months on end. That's right, a DOMAIN REGISTRAR can't even't get the basics of internetting right. At least the person I contacted had the sense of humour to suggest that it was my browser that was the problem (the latest version of Chrome and Firefox by the way).

I can only guess that people there are working on commission, as the emails I received regarding domain renewal (hence lot's of nice money for them) were incredibly pushy in tone, quantity and frequency. This was in stark contrast to the incredible dearth of emails in my inbox when I was trying to get a refund for some domains that their website had erroneously allowed me to register. It took me 2 months and way too many emails to eventually get my money back. I guess nobody at domainz.net.nz gets a commission for issuing a refund.
