Haben einen neuer Kabe Royal 630 im April gekauft. Nach 2 Wochen beim Test Kühlschrank defekt. Warten seit dem auf den Ersatz ...Garantie!!! Der Sommer ist somit wohl gelaufen. Auch der Händler und Kabe sind scheinbar machtlos. ---- Ende Juni endlich wird ein neuer KS freigegeben und auch geliefert. Dabei ein Hinweis, der Händler hat anscheinend die nötigen Formulare nicht ganz korrekt ausgefüllt oder adressiert, weiß ich nicht. Aber sind die Wege deshalb so lang?

Leihgeräte bei Garantiefall Fehlanzeige

Unser Campingkühlschrank von Dometic ist pünktlich zum Start der Campingsaison innerhalb der Garantiezeit defekt.
Wenn man denkt dass für die Dauer der Reparatur von < 4 Wochen die Möglichkeit besteht ein Leihgerät zu erhalten liegt komplett falsch. Dometic bietet hier keinerlei Service an und speist seine Kunden mit der Aussage ab, dass Leihgeräte nicht vorgesehen sind, auch wenn die Reparatur Ewigkeiten in Anspruch nimmt und der Kunde für die Sommerzeit ohne Kühlschrank da steht.
Fazit: Dometic verkauft hochpreisige Geräte frei von jeglichem Service

Dometic 5 gallon tall cassette toilet

My husband and I are full time travelers in our converted shuttle bus....We bought a Dometic 5 gallon tall cassette toilet and used it for a year 24/7 and it worked great. I will say we only peed in it though. After a year of a lot of use the toilet lid broke off and the O Ring that seals the tank stopped sealing it and it leaked. Dometic honored the warrantee even when it went a little past the 1 year date!!

In 9 Jahren ist jetzt die dritte…

In 9 Jahren ist jetzt die dritte Platine von der Bedienleiste des Dometic Kühlschrank defekt.
Kundenservice habe ich angeschrieben, keine Kulanz.
Das Teil kostet ja auch nur 199€.
Somit werde ich bei Dometic nichts mehr bestellen.

Recientemente he comprado una avancé en la web, lo compré con descuento ya que estaba de oferta, y después de hacer el pedido y darme de alta en con el mail recibo un cupón descuento extra del 10% para la primera compra.( en ese momento me dio mucha rabia dado que ese porcentaje equivalía a 119€.) Les escribo, por si por suena la flauta, sin ningún tipo de esperanza, comentado lo que me ha pasado, y cual es mi sorpresa!! que al de 2 días recibo un reintegro en mi banco de esa cantidad. No tenían porqué hacerlo y aún así me añadieron ese 10% extra, 119€ de descuento más. Así que no puedo estar más agradecida. Respecto al avancé, no lo he probado aún pero sí lo he montado en casa y tiene una pinta espectacular, no podíamos estar más contentos. Dometic Rarotonga DA FTT 401 AIR RH

Decent products but poor cuatomer support

Good products. Awnings could do with some design tweaks but generally good.
Customer support not great, never seem willing to help. I very contacted them a couple of times but they just bat you off with no further help or suggestions.
Probably be going for Isabella next time round.

Nie wieder Dometic!!!

Hätte ich hier bloß vorher reingeschaut! Aber bei einer bekannten schwedischen Firma erwartet man nicht, dass sowohl Qualität als auch Kundenservice maximal einen Stern verdienen. Teuren Aufblaspavillon gekauft, beim ersten Versuch haben die Adapter bei der Pumpe gefehlt. Dann stellte sich heraus dass die Pumpe keinen Druck anzeigt. Wurde 3mal neu geliefert - keine Reaktion vom Kundenservice auf meine Bitten um Klärung des Problems und mehr Schonung der Umwelt. Jede Pumpe war defekt. Ich habe es dann aufgegeben. Nun muss ich sie beim Pumpen mit einer Hand festhalten, weil sie sich sonst löst. Es sind viele Adapter dabei aber keiner passt so richtig. Es gäbe hier sicher eine andere Lösung als alle wegzuwerfen. Ist offenbar billigste Chinaware . Damit könnte ich ja noch leben aber nun das Schlimmste der Pavillon verliert Luft! Jetzt im Urlaub beim ersten Dauertest liegt er jeden Morgen eingesunken da und muss wieder aufgepumpt werden :((((: Nun steht mir wieder der nervenaufreibende Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice bevor …

Vorzelt Club Air Pro.... Die Bedienungsanleitung ist eine Frechheit! Bei Produkten dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich mir deutlich bessere Kennzeichnungen. Beim Aufbau rätselt man ständig, wo welches Teil hingehört. Wenn man es durchschaut hat, ist der Aufbau einfach.

I purchased an electric system for my camper van at NEC exhibition in 2023. It was installed in November 2003. When I went to get it fitted at their Tewkesbury workshop, the solar panel was too big. They were helpful in pointing me in the right direction to get an alternative which I did and returned (a 4 hr round trip) in December to have the electrics completed. However, I wasn't able to see either on the app or panel how the battery was working. After a lot of to and fro-ing (6 months worth), I managed to persuade them to take back the faulty battery and reimburse. I had to return this at my cost (another 4 hr trip) - not a welcoming handover either!
My inverter (NDS 3000W) has now stopped working and I am trying to get some answers on how this can be replaced/fixed - as I run an induction hob this is vital.
I would never buy from Dometic again unless I absolutely had to simply because of the customer service. I have used much smaller companies who have just been a pleasure to deal with - trying to sort any problems rather than treating me like the problem. These aren't cheap products I have bought and I expected more.

Since writing my first review, I have had a much more positive experience with your customer service team. I have therefore increased my stars to 3. Whilst the problem isn’t sorted yet, I do feel supported getting there. Thank you.

I Bought a Dometic Fridge Freezer Dometic CFX5 95DZ Dual Zone Fridge Freezer 94L
“I Was told it was The Top of the Range”. As reliability was key due to the storage of medical pharmaceuticals that had to be refrigerated for both myself and for medical emergencies etc. (Bearing in mind this unit was only used 4/5 times every year, roughly 15 times Only). It lasted bang on 3 yrs (warranty period 3yrs). Do you think that Dometic were interested in my situation?NO. Not in the least!!. Was told “your Fridge Freezer has broken down and is not repairable….. Sorry about that. So $1,850 + $300 for cover + accessories. All worth nothing now!!. (Two other friends have had an identical experience with Dometic and would never touch another Dometic product either.
Poor form. Total after additional purchases $2,765. (Including some options…..Covers/Freezer Slide/folding support table etc).
I was contacted by Dometic’s Head Office who said they would look into this, since the 18th March 2025, and still no reply.
“ Sort of shows their true colours”. Is this the kind of company you want to deal with in the future?.

Domatic fridge freezer

Just brought a 2020 coachman caravan with a tall Domatic fridge freezer although it works perfectly the double side opening doors don't catch properly and if you not careful to the open door it will fall off and whilst travelling I have to use gaffer tape to keep the door from falling open and end up on the floor. Thankfully the caravan is under dealer warranty and hopefully they will be able to resolve the issue has it appears to be a common problem.

Dometic is a weak euro comany

Hi All
I just purchased a fridge-freezer for my RV to replace the one I have. Domestic looked like a good brand when it arrived We found we only had 2 shelves in it and a salad box for the bottom of the fridge; we expected at least 1 more shelf or 2, to be fair, and a top for the salad box, but we found out that this is extra. top for salad box was £69 and the shelf £39. The fridge cost me almost £2000, looking at all the reviews about Dometic they done care.
2*s on TrustPilot, then there's clearly a problem. To potential customers - learn from the mistakes of others and avoid Dometic at all costs. You have been warned...

Incompetent communication and order processing proceedures

Our dometic 3 way fridge under warranty failed to turn on during our caravan touring holiday. A local dometic agent quickly placed an order for replacement parts required. Dometic had stock of the parts but TOOK A WEEK TO PROCESS THE ORDER THROUGH TO THEIR DESPATCH. That’s far too long and totally unacceptable while we’re stuck stationary on our holiday. Trying to call Dometic will test your patience waiting over 90 minutes on the phone to speak to an inexperienced, incompetent customer service agent who can’t fix the problem.
Please don’t just apologize! Just fix your system so it’s up to today’s customer reasonable expectations. I highly recommend against Demetic after our very bad experience and we’re spreading the word to all the caravan owners we come across in our travels.

Absolut keine Kulanz und Entgegenkommen

Hallo zusammen, wir haben ein Wohnmobil mit einer Dometic Kühlschrank mit separaten Gefrierfach. Beim ersten Kühlschrank ist nach 11 Jahren das Bedienelement kaputt gegangen. Nun gab es für unser Modell ( dieses Modell gab es seit 12 Jahren) keines mehr. Für die Modelle davor und danach gab es welche. Kosten ca. 180 Euro. So mussten wir einen voll funktionsfähigen Kühlschrank entsorgen und uns für 2600 Euro!!! einen neuen kaufen. GEHT GAR NICHT !!!
Der neue wird gleich ohne Unterteilung für das Gefrierfach geliefert, damit man gleich das sehr teure Zubehör kaufen muss. GEHT GAR NICHT!!!
Zum Glück hatten wir es vom 1. Kühlschrank.
Nun ist beim 2. Kühlschrank wieder das Bedienelement ( nach 1,5 Jahren!!! ) ,diesmal der Drehknopf, kaputt gegangen und es musste wieder ein neues Bedienelement her.
Wir sind selbstverständlich von einem Garantiefall ausgegangen. Von Dometic als Hersteller und dem Service Händler wurde uns gesagt, dass wir die Verursacher sind und somit tragen wir die gesamten Kosten von ca. 337 Euro. GEHT SCHON WIEDER NICHT!!!
Wie in den meisten Rezensionen bereits geschrieben, kann man Dometic komplett vergessen.
Absolut keine Kulanz oder Entgegenkommen!!! SCHANDE, SCHANDE!!!
Da uns als Kunden leider nur Dometic oder Thetford zur Auswahl stehen, nutzt Dometic das schamlos aus.
Wir sind wahnsinnig enttäuscht und würden einen Dometic Kühlschrank nie wieder kaufen!!!
Wir haben viele positive Erfahrungen mit anderen Herstellern und Händlern gemacht. Da lassen wir sehr gerne unser Geld.

Minibar en panne seulement 2 ans après achat.

Minibar (payé 300€) qui tombe en panne au bout de seulement 2 ans !!!!! Juste après la fin de garantie.
C'est inadmissible.
Marque en laquelle j'avais confiance.
C'en est fini Dometic pour moi.

Installed new toilet that leaked…

Installed new toilet that leaked immediately. Camping World said it was a warranty issue with Dometic. Dometic suggested that I take their brand new toilet apart and repair it. I'm elderly so can't do the work myself. They recommend that I take it to a repair service and have them do it at my expense. Ridiculous customer service and inferior products.

Dossier démarré en 2022

Dossier démarré en 2022, en pleine période de COVID, donc peu favorable. J'avais publié d'autres avis sur le sujet.
Le Frigo de camping car, sous garantie, ne produisait plus de froid et se mettait en alarme. Sujet pris en charge par une station mobile du SAV. Appareil testé à plusieurs reprises, multiples changement de pièces mais, une fois le frigo dans le camping car, le constat était toujours le même : plus de froid et en alarme.
Le SAV de Dometic a fini par prendre le sujet totalement en main et le problème a enfin été résolu par leurs soins.
Je mets au final les 4 étoiles, car malgré une durée de dossier aussi longue, il est rassurant de constater que le SAV reste bien à l'écoute, travaille sur le sujet et finit par trouver une solution sans jamais abandonner le client.
