Dometic Rally Air All Season 330 DA im Frühling 2022 gekauft. Gemäss Werbung ein langlebiges Luftvorzelt, welches als Saisonzelt, ja sogar für Ganzjahrescamping geeignet sein soll. Nach etwas mehr als 2 Jahren als Saisonzelt im Gebrauch Schimmel am Dach. Dieses Zelt verfügt über viel zu kleine Lüftungen als Saisonzelt (wo es doch zwischendurch 2-3 Wochen unbewohnt sein kann und mit den bestehenden Lüftungen reguliert werden sollte) und ist dafür schlicht unbrauchbar - Platz für grössere Öffnungen wäre durchaus vorhanden, aber Interesse von Dometic nicht -"muss halt regelmässig gelüftet werden". Campingprofis haben hier in der Entwicklung nicht mitgearbeitet. Auf unserem Camping diverse andere Luftvorzelte (ALLE Dometic All Season), welche mit dem gleichen Problem konfrontiert sind.

Der Kommentar von Dometic ist ein weiterer Beweis der Ignoranz....

DMC 4801 $1500.00 UNREPAIRABLE JUNK

I purchased a DMC 4801 refrigerator/freezer for my 2021 Freedom Elite to get a larger capacity refrigerator April 2023. Getting to our first destination we noticed the refrigerator temperature was 42 degrees and would not and any colder. Not wanting to spoil and ruin good food we had to leave the camp ground immediately return home. I went to my RV dealer Blue Compass to repair the unit. The technician ran multiple diagnostics and found out the unit can not be repaired? This is a $1500.00 expendable piece of junk, I had no choice but to replace the unit, lose of some food and 2 paid days of camping lost. All the paper work was sent to Dometic for a replacement or possible discount for another unit. Dometic flatly refused any assistance on the unit.
I sent the company 2 emails (I know they received them as i have Mail tracker). As of this date they have totally ignored any reply to my e-mails.

This leads me to believe " it is all about the money and who cares about the customers" This is a horrible way to conduct business.

Dolly with escalations is a real treat

Dolly with escalations is a real treat. The customer is not right in any case and after waiting on hold for an hour and start to plead my case I get yelled at told that I'm wrong and then hung up on! What in the heck! What planet are we living on these days. I work in a very fast paced work environment and have to provide customer service all the time. I know things can get heated but I always try to understand the customer and be patient with them. This lady should not be in the position she is in. Seriously the worst I've ever been treated as a customer.

I had a 300 toilet that had a known issue within my serial number from the manufacturer. The warranty is within 3 years only for this known issue. There was no recall issued, nor were any customers of the known raw sewage that would leak into a mid compartment of the toilet and spill out the back of the toilet while towing.

Now I have to call a friend who is a lawyer who specializes specifically in this type of situation. I will update when I hear back. This is just not the way a business should be run if there is a manufacturer defect in the toilet. It should be replaced no questions asked.

The worst service from a big name brand I’ve ever had.
I received a damaged product that was briefly acknowledged by Dometic customer support but has since been ignored through multiple emails.
Do not buy from Dometic, worst customer service.

Acheté un frigo CRE 65 à 700 Euros - une fois installé il a fonctionné 2 semaines. Le compresseur a serré. Ayant pris deux hiver pour construire mon Van, la garantie n'était évidemment plus valable. Coût de réparation supérieure au prix du frigo.

Le Van étant aménagé aux dimensions du frigo, j'en achète un nouveau. Durée de vie: deux jours. Parti en voyage pour trois mois, j'apprécie de placer de la glace de supermarché dans le frigo pour tenir les aliments au frais pour le reste du voyage.

La plaque de cuisson Dometic MO 9722L installée l'année dernière a fonctionné 2 semaines (été dernier) puis est tombé en rade cet été après 2,5 senaines. Allumeur HS. Bref, durée de vie 4,5 semaines.

Ou bien je vais jouer au loto demain avec la chance que j'ai. Ou alors Dometic, c'est simplement de la m...

Résultat : 700 + 700 + 490 Euros -> poubelle. Et tout le mobilier à reconstruire avec une autre marque.

Poor service, lack of spares and zero environmental care.

I purchased a Dometic Saneo toilet from a dealer on eBay and the dealer said they were brand new but were missing ‘a slider’ which wasn’t needed for use. Not true! The slider stops the fluid coming out of the waste tank as I discovered on first trying to remove the tank. An email to the dealer was ignored so I contacted Dometic via their UK e-mail address and after a few days was contacted requesting proof if purchase, model, etc. I responded with these and received confirmation that they had received my mail. Then another confirmation but nothing else. I followed up got another confirmation of receipt but nothing further. How hard can it be to get a response to a question in a reasonable time? The part in question does not seem to be available without buying the complete slider mechanism for around £70. This seems ridiculous. Not very green. By contrast, their flymo division responded very quickly to a query I had (same day) and spares are available for the majority of products. I had a similar issue with my boat vacuum toilet when the pump vacuum switch membrane developed a pin-pric hole. Can you purchase a 50p membrane? No, you must purchase a £150 switch assembly!! Talk about wastefulness. This company seems to have made it a profitable art form! Still no response to my toilet mails so I have a useless Saneo, over-priced, toilet in my van. Stupidly I also bought a Dometic fridge for my boat. It develops huge amounts of condensation on the front of the icebox and can’t cope with winter temperatures - instead shutting down and defrosting if it is cold outside. Customer service didn’t really have any suggestions at the time and it is now out of warranty.

I don’t think I will be recommending Dometic (except maybe Flymo) products or customer service and certainly don’t believe anything they say about being green. Don’t buy a Saneo toilet. Get a Thetford as parts are readily available.

On my boat toilet I also discovered that the vacuum tank gasket is no longer available so another product that is technically scrapped if you need to open it.

How can they verify so bad and encourage so much waste?

True to form they have now come back on the missing toilet part, after several weeks and quoted me £150+ to replace the ENTIRE cassette. For a £5 part that they should have supplied Free of Charge as it was missing from original delivery. This is clearly a company that doesn’t give a damn about customer service, quality or the environment.

Their response to my review is also not worth them bothering. Just emphasises the fact they don’t get it and don’t care.

Dies ist eine ganz reale Bewertung ohne etwas dazu zu dichten oder wegzulassen. Ich habe eine dometic Kompressor Kühlbox cfx3 45 erworben. Diese war sechs Monate alt und hatte somit noch volle Garantie. Beim Vorbesitzer hat plötzlich das WLAN und die Bluetooth Funktion nicht mehr funktioniert. Ihn hat es nicht gestört und ich wollte eine funktionierende Kühlbox. Daraufhin habe ich dometic angeschrieben dann wurde mir erklärt dass beim zweitbesitz keine Garantie mehr vorhanden sein. Das ist gesetzlich aber nicht rechtens. Ich habe dann eine schlechte Bewertung auf einem bewertungsportal abgegeben. Die Folge davon war dometic hat sich bei mir gehabt gemeldet. Es wäre doch eine Reparatur möglich auch bei zwei Besitz. Dann dauerte es etwas zwei bis drei Wochen dann kam die Nachricht es sei doch schwierig bei zwei Besitz ich soll mich an eine andere Abteilung wenden. Dies habe ich getan ich habe die E-Mail an die eingegebene E-Mail-Adresse weitergeleitet mit allen anhängen. Und ich habe keine Nachricht erhalten. Die 800 € kostet ist derartig beschissen dass ich keine weiteren Dometic produkte mehr kaufen werde weil ich im hinterkopf immer habe Zeit ausgehebelt werden. Ich kann keine Produkte diese Firma empfehlen. Kann nur jedem empfehlen wenn ein Produkt kauft einfach mal die Bewertungen zu dieser Firma zu lesen. Schärfe im Internet musste ich feststellen dass es bei diesem Modell wohl öfter zu Ausfällen kann liegt nur teilweise von dometic reibungslos über die Bühne gegangen sind. Es ist wohl viel mehr so dass man entweder gar nicht antwortet oder auf Zeit spielt. Dies ist kein Kundenservice. Ich bin einfach nur enttäuscht.

We are attending the COA rally in Elkhart Indiana. We had Mark from service come to check out our fridge and multiple other Dometic products in our Coachman. He is AMAZING! He was timely, knows everything about all your products, and has everything he needs to resolve any problems in his truck. The guy is just great. No negative reviews would be on this page if he dealt with customers.
In dealing with many companies involved in RV s, he is truly a stand out
gem.

over 2mdr for at få et nyt køleskab til min campingvogn det er sku ikke godt nok
samt man får intet af vide af dem og det skal lige siges at jeg skulle have det sidst i maj mdr og det bliver først afsendt 19 juni og så tager det 2 til 4 dage fra tyskland til roskilde så spørge man indtil hvorfor svaret er det ved vi ikke
jeg tør slet ikke tænke på hvis der er en fejl på så tager det vel 2 mdr igen hvis det skal byttes
mit råd til alle find et andet alternativ det gør jeg næste gang
pris 18600kr for et køleskab ikke så meget som lidt kompentation for ventetid ELLER en lille undskyldning

Billigste Chinaware. Finger weg von Dometic

Billigste Chinaware.
Camping-Kühlbox vor drei Jahren gekauft. Jetzt kühlt die Box immer auf minus 15 Grad. Egal welche Temperatur eingestellt ist.
Bei Dometic wegen Kulanz angefragt. Antwort: Keine Kulanz. Reparaturkosten fast 280 Euro plus Versand 2 mal. Lächerlich, da eine neue Box für 260 Euro im Netz zu bekommen ist.
Also Schraubendreher raus und den Temperatursensor ausgebaut. Neuen Sensor inklusive Wärmeleitpaste bei Amazon für 15 Euro bestellt.
Bei der Demontage habe ich festgestellt, dass das Innenleben billigster China-Schrott ist. Ebenso ist die Verarbeitung saumäßig. Schrauben einfach in den Kunststoff geschraubt usw. Hoffentlich halten die Schrauben beim Eindrehen.
Das Innenleben sieht aus, als wäre die Box in einem Hinterhof zusammen gebastelt worden.
So viel zu einem namhaften Hersteller.

Service bei Dometic ist katastrophal!

Eine Kühlbox CFX3 wurde am 27.05.2023 bei Dometic online gekauft und mit einem riesen Sprung in der Plastikverkleidung geliefert.

Es dauert 6 Wochen, bis ich den richtigen Ansprechpartner hatte und dieser den Fall an die Service-Abteilung weitergab. Die Service-Abteilung hat sich darauffolgend nie bei mir gemeldet. In der Zwischenzeit habe ich den Sprung mit Kunststoffkleber so gut es ging ausgebessert und resigniert. Ich wollte ja auch irgendwann damit auf Urlaub fahren.

Am 11.04.2024 (ca. ein Jahr später) bin ich dann erneut über eine Mail von Dometic gestolpert und habe diese aus Neugier erneut angeschrieben, um mich über den Status zu informieren. Auch in der Hoffnung nun doch noch eine Lösung zu bekommen.

Ich bekam auch eine Rückmeldung und es wurde mir eine Reparatur garantiert. Der Schriftverkehr zog sich wiederum in die Länge - bis 24.05.2024. Also ein Monat bis ich eine Ticket-ID für den Service hatte und ein Rücksendelabel von UPS. Ich muss auch erwähnen, dass ich bspw. Rücksendelabel nur nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage bekommen habe.

Nun befindet sich meine Kühlbox seit 3 Wochen beim Service. Auf Rückfragen über den Status der Reparatur wird nicht reagiert. Eigentlich sollte es bald in den Urlaub mit der Kühlbox gehen. Das wird wohl nichts.

Dometic Tie Down Kit 9103104000…

Dometic Tie Down Kit 9103104000 recently purchased (new).First outing, not over tensioned, slight breeze and the plastic clips popped apart releasing the straps. If any tension is applied to the straps these clips release.Why are these clips part of the strap they serve no useful function, the strap could be one piece.Basically the kit is not fit for purpose.
However kit comes in nice Dometic draw string bag.

Bei mir hat sich die Haube der Dachklima Anlage innerhalb 3-5 Jahre farblich so verändert , das die Haube nur noch aus schwarze Flecken besteht ! Diese Flecken sind nicht zu beseitigen und weisen auf einen Hersteller Fehler hin!
Nach mehren Reklamation Scheiben an den Service ( die übrigens Meister im abblocken sind ) bot man mir bei einer Neubestellung sage und schreibe 15% Nachlass an bei einem Neupreis von ca. 200 € ! Alleine dieses Angebot von 15% Nachlass ist mehr als unverschämt!
Das sagt wohl alles über den Service und seine Mittarbeiter aus !
Natürlich habe ich die lächerlichen 15% abgelehnt !
