Rented for nearly six years - property full of damp and mould and in need of major repairs. No maintenance for over four years!
Did nothing to help, and suing landlord hampered as they do not keep proper records...

I got a level 3 building survey done through Edward Mellor and I have to say everything from start to finish was superb. The survey was done very promptly, with the report following after coming within 3-5 days. My building survey was done by Martin J Mellor, he was absolutely brilliant. He left me with a very comprehensive survey report and even took time out to go through the report with me over the phone, i would absolutely recommend him for anyone that is looking to get a building survey done.

The branch in Hyde is doing an excellent services in helping customer finding a house. Special thanks to their staff Gabriella Roberts, she is nice and responsive, all the questions that I asked are replied instantly. She also helps me to arrange a good time with the seller. Big thank you to all.

I bought my house with Edward Mellor about 9 years ago and now I am going to sell it I met with Einar Perdomo he is a nice person and a nice photographer he explained everything very nicely and clearly and professionally about my property I highly recommend if anyone wants to sell his house in Manchester call Edward Mellor and ask about Einar Perdomo and Team highly recommended 👍

Fantastic experience so far with the Edgeley office and especially Kath.
We are selling our house in Stockport and I made the mistake of first going with an agent in Cheadle who had better reviews online and yet ended up terrible. I called Kath who had come to value my house, in a DAY she had pictures sorted, brochure made and ad up and running with stunning photographs. Her eye for detail, and her knowledge of the field is unmatched. She was also so nice, easy to talk to and you can tell she loves her job.
The only regret I have is not to have

I wanted to view a property in longsight manchester. I spoke to to ladies there and they told me to provide "mortgage agreement" before they can let me view the property.after i send them the agreement then they ll get back to me..I was a bit surprised. But then i sent them my agreement to them..and now its more than three weeks...since then they never got back to me.

Edward Mellor is one of the best estate agent In Manchester. I meet with Einar Perdomo few time so he is a great person and very good photographer and he know when he going and he is helpful person so he advise you about everything to sell your house very quick. I meet Edward Mellor Droylsden branch last week and I seen all staff there so they are very kind and friendly and they help to fine quickly buyers. I advise every body if they sell your property go with Edward Mellor.

Omg DON'T USE THEM AVOID!!! selling properties that vendors dont have right to sell dont tell u small print just want sales no matter what pressure tactics and sadly apprently am not the only person whos has been threw this not good enough terrible experience 😣

I had a lovely experience with Edward Mellor. After being failed by another estate agent I approached Edward Mellor to sell my house. Einar Perdomo was very understanding and was quick to arrive to our house, he was able to take very good photos and 360 of the house, I was surprised how quickly he was able to create the advert for our house. Edward Mellor was quick to find buyers and definitely recommend them if you are planning to sell a house in Gorton area.

Tileasha has been great with helping us purchase a property! She was able to work around our busy schedules to insure we could view the property twice before making an offer! Tileasha has been quick to respond and has kept us up to date every step of the way so far!

STAY CLEAR - scamming, miss-selling sales people and useless customer service.

I sent a complaint email on 24th of February and have still received no response.

I have recently started a purchase with Edward mellow and was contacted to advise the offer had been accepted and if I would like to speak to someone about a conveyancer for the sale.

I said I would like to speak to someone and arranged a call back for the next day, at this point I had received a quote for conveyancing for £1000 from a comparison site. On Monday the 17th of February at around 4.40pm I spoke to someone on the phone, they quoted on the phone that the conveyancing cost would be £1800 with Edward Mellor, I went on back on the phone and said I had found something cheaper, Once I stated this the quote was then reduced to £1570 with a discount, On the phone I was told that this would be a ‘’Fixed’’ cost and would not receive any other charges apart from bank charges (Looking at my quote, an extra £45). I was told that this would be a ‘’Fixed cost, So I would expect that would be all I was due to pay. I asked them to give me a call back the next day, they called me back at 12:23 on Tuesday the 18th of February, I made the decision that I was happy to go ahead with this although it was more expensive it included searches + the ease of dealing with one person/company. Once I confirmed this, I paid the £25 fee.



I am extremely unhappy and feel I have been miss sold, since then I have received a further Document of the solicitor stating the total charges would be £2250 (This is before they have done Anything!), So this ‘’Fixed’’ cost was absolute nonsense. I have spoken to the solicitor about this, and they have said this is not the first occasion that they have experienced this with yourselves and the word ''Fixed'' should not be used under these circumstances, This is because they don't know how much things will cost

Horrific experience with the reddish branch purchasing a property - like of hills have eyes did mean girls. Will update with email evidence and proof asap.

ZERO STARS FOR THIS SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY. THE STAFFS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT THE STOCKPORT BRANCH ARE DISGUSTING. THEY ARE RUDE, INCOMPETENT AND CONDESCENDING TOWARDS TENNANTS. AVOID AVOID AVOID
