Emma Villa’s staff were very responsive, also with questions that I had throughout the whole process. The Villa Loredana exceeded our expectations. The views from the pool area and villa grounds were breathtaking. The property was private and peaceful. We would highly recommend Emma Villa’s.

Villa “Tenuta Scialandre” is a stunning place with breathtaking sea views from almost every corner of the property and from most bedrooms, where you can even enjoy the view directly from your bed. Surrounded by a vast garden, the villa offers complete privacy and a truly peaceful atmosphere.
The property has been thoughtfully designed, both architecturally and aesthetically, with exceptional attention to every detail. It is ideal for larger groups of up to 10 people, as everyone can find their own favorite spot, whether to spend time together or enjoy some quiet privacy.
Our host, Vincenzo, was extremely welcoming and attentive. Every morning he checked that everything was perfect and even took care of taking out our rubbish.
There are several shops nearby, and within just a 5-minute drive you’ll find beautiful sandy beaches, excellent restaurants, and bars.
Salento and Tenuta Scialandre are places that give you every reason to come back again and Emma Villas made it happen.

Siamo stati ospiti di Tenuta Scialandre, a Patù, per cinque giorni, alla fine di giugno 2026, per festeggiare un momento molto speciale in famiglia, e difficilmente avremmo potuto fare una scelta migliore.
La vista sul mare, da sola, avrebbe giustificato il soggiorno. Da ogni angolo della tenuta si gode infatti di un panorama magnifico, immersi in un contesto di grande tranquillità. A rendere ancora più speciale la proprietà è il meraviglioso giardino mediterraneo, con alberi, palme, fiori e prati curati in modo impeccabile.
Gran parte del merito va a Enzo, il proprietario, una persona genuina, simpatica e di rara cortesia. Salentino d'origine, ma con la precisione e la meticolosità maturate nei quarant'anni vissuti in Svizzera, segue personalmente ogni dettaglio della proprietà. Lui e sua moglie ci hanno accolto con grande calore, facendoci sentire immediatamente a casa.
La villa è bellissima, arredata con gusto e mantenuta in condizioni eccellenti. Gli spazi interni sono luminosi e confortevoli, la cucina è molto ben attrezzata e le dépendance garantiscono privacy e comodità anche a gruppi di amici o famiglie numerose. La piscina, affacciata sul mare, è il luogo ideale in cui trascorrere gran parte della giornata.
Quello che più abbiamo apprezzato è l'equilibrio tra bellezza, comfort e riservatezza. L'assenza di strutture adiacenti garantiscono una privacy difficile da trovare altrove.
Per noi è stato il posto perfetto per celebrare un'occasione speciale in famiglia. Viaggiavamo con bambini piccoli e abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la disponibilità di lettini, seggioloni e tutto quanto necessario per rendere il soggiorno semplice e confortevole.
Una struttura che consigliamo chiunque cerchi bellezza, tranquillità, privacy. Speriamo di tornare presto.

Despite some of the above issues I would definitely consider renting again in the future.
Villa is centrally situated for visiting many of the hill towns. Villa itself is situated with fantastic views of the surrounding hills and towns.Infinity pool has wonderful views.The grounds and pool were beautifully kept.
The Villa has many steps both inside and outside.There were 2 falls by members of our group.
The 4th bedroom lacks clothes drawers and hanger space.Except for the pool towels, the towels provided were of poor quality.
Emma Villas was extremely helpful in organizing an in-villa dinner which was great! The property manager was also very helpful.

Emma Villas has a great portfolio of villas
Emma Villas has a great portfolio of villas to choose from. We have rented many times with them and in general we are very happy. Emma Villas are very professional from the moment of our booking. The staff were responsive and address all questions and concerns. We rented two villas Villetta di Dante near Chiusi and Casa del Sole in Cortona. Both were very nice and well equipped. Some details could be improved, but we mentioned this directly to the owners and in the feedback we gave to Emma Villas. As far as we are concerned, Emma Villas has a very high standard for luxury villas in Italy.

Nice view and location of the house
Nice view and location of the house, easy access to lovely lake Bracciano and historical sites with short car drive away with nice surroundings.
Closest town had restaurants and food shops which made cooking home easy.
The pool was big and nice so you could swim and play with a big family.
Our property manager always responded within a minute after contact and was very helpful.

The villa (Casolare San Martino 16 +1), was absolutely perfect in every way. The apartments were all well equipped and the owners were extremely helpful. They went above and beyond providing recommendations for restaurants in the area. They even helped us make a last minute reservation at a fabulous restaurant! So kind and thoughtful! We had a great stay in villa…
We had a great stay in villa scandelaia. The pool and views were fantastic. The bedrooms were great too and our host Laura was very helpful.
We were a little disappointed about the kitchen and the place outside to eat. Also the road to reach the villa (1,5 km) is a challenge. Over all we had a great holiday.

The company is very organized and…
The company is very organized and responsive. The person who met us at check-in and at check-out was great. No issues at all with Emma Villas.
The house we rented on Puttalongu Beach was spotless and comfortable. I have to say that the surveillance cameras were intrusive and felt like a complete invasion of privacy. Too many of them and pointed toward the living spaces. Yes, you're forewarned of their existence in the rental process, but they're too much. Also, the hot tub wasn't functioning when we were there. We were told it was sanitary, but without circulating water, it couldn't have been safe. We paid top dollar for the villa, and to have that not operational seems like a major fault of the property owner.
The company was great and I give them 5 stars. I give the house 4 stars.

Emma Villas had a great portfolio of villas to choose from and very good pricing. We have been to Italy multiple times and had mixed experiences with different rental services. Emma Villas was very professional from the moment of our booking. The staff were responsive and address all questions and concerns. They reached out a few days before our arrival to coordinate and were at the villa to address all questions. It gave us peace of mind that we were in good hands. Equally important the villa itself exceeded expectations. Country House MONTEPIETRAIA E SAN MARTINO 18 is outstanding! They say first impressions count
They say first impressions count, I agree they certainly do. Our first impression of Villa Isa In Sardinia was very disappointing, after locating the Villa up an unkept dirt road , we arrived to a untidy garden, overgrown bushes and plants.
On entering the Villa a musty smell hit us, we could well have been the first rental of the season ? Upon opening all the doors and some windows this helped a little. Some windows were difficult to open.
The Kitchen.
The appliances were in a dreadful state, the seal on the fridge door was inadequate, the shelves in the fridge were rusty, totally disgusting. The coffee maker , the glass water container was broken, no tea towels provided,
Bedrooms
The cushions were dirty, no mattress protector on the beds, just a sheet over the mattress.
The Bathrooms.
The ensuite bathroom toilet door would not close, the other bathroom was incredibly dirty, mold was around the shower cubicle, behind the toilet seat looked as if it had never been clean, no minimal toiletries had been provided.
Garden area , and covered veranda.
The garden was unkept, untidy, old parts which had been used to previously repair the pool were just left lying around. Whilst sitting at the wooden table one evening , part of the table extension collapsed on me.
Swimming Pool
The real disappointment was the swimming pool, the description clearly states 6m in length with a constant depth of 2 m, I am 5'9 inches the water came up to around my chest. The steps in and out of the pool are unstable and unsafe.
The edge of the pool is cracked and in need of a full overhaul. On the outside of the pool you can see previous poor repairs, water was leaking by the pool room.
On contacting the local representative regarding our concerns ,some areas were addressed, mattress protectors were provided, new silicone sealant was put around the shower( the time he was there I very much doubt the old sealant had been removed), some cracked areas around the pool were glued together. A new fridge was delivered.
To highlight our concerns we contacted Expert Tours,( who we had to provide our details to for check in) the response from them was unfavorable, firstly they used the incorrect title in the response and basically stating our expectations were too high.
Comparing this Villa to other Villa's we have stayed in Europe and further afield , I believe our expectations are not too high, having spent several thousand Euro's you expect , cleanliness, working utensils, and a safe swimming area.
This Villa requires a large amount of money to be spent on it to bring it up to a required minimum standard. generally the Villa is in a very poor state of presentation.
I would not recommend .

Thank you for your reply, I did point out in my review that some issues had been rectified. Our point being alll should have been done before the arrival of guests.
We appreciate the description of the villa states photos are taken during the spring therefore flowers blooming and colours may differ, this does not take away the fact the garden is unkept.
I also note the description of the pool has now changes, now reading a constant depth of 1.15m not as previously stated 2m.
As you point out the villa was booked through a 3rd possibly a 4th party, we would be very interested in knowing the breakdown of the costs?
One final point I forgot to mention, the check out time was 9/10am. At 7am the gentleman arrived to start stripping the beds , replacing sheets no sweeping or tidying was seen.
This was a totally unacceptable time as we were yet to shower ready for our departure.

In particular, the pool is clearly described as a rigid above-ground swimming pool, and its dimensions and construction characteristics are exactly as shown in the published images. Likewise, the size of the garden and the property can be easily assessed from the photographic material available prior to booking. We understand that a guest's perception of the value of a stay may also be influenced by the booking method. In this case, your reservation was made through third-party travel agencies, which independently determine their own commercial terms and pricing. Emma Villas markets the property according to its own pricing policy and has no control over the rates applied by intermediaries. Lastly, we are sorry to read such critical comments regarding the overall condition of the villa, as they do not reflect the standards by which the property is normally presented or the experience reported by the many guests who have stayed there. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and will share your suggestions with the property owner as part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

Our stay with Emma Villas was truly exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend both the company and this beautiful property.
From the moment we booked—almost a year before our arrival—the level of service was outstanding. The Emma Villas team was always responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. Organizing a multi-generational family vacation, complete with babies and toddlers, is no easy feat, yet they made the entire experience feel seamless.
The villa itself is absolutely stunning: beautifully maintained, peaceful, and the perfect setting for a special family celebration. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to create lifelong memories.
As with any stay during the height of the summer season, there were a couple of minor hiccups. What impressed me most, however, was not that they happened, but how they were handled. The team took ownership, communicated openly, and genuinely cared about making things right. To me, that's the true measure of excellent hospitality.
If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer guests the option of having the refrigerator and pantry stocked before arrival. For those checking in on a Sunday afternoon—especially families traveling internationally with babies or young children—it would make a tremendous difference to arrive knowing that basic groceries, snacks, drinks, and breakfast essentials are already waiting at the villa. It would be a fantastic addition to an already outstanding service.
And finally... Chef Sergio deserves a special mention! He was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and made with so much care. Beyond his incredible talent, he became part of our family's experience with his warmth and kindness. We all agreed on one thing: for any future Emma Villas booking, we want Chef Sergio again! 😊
