Be careful buying online! Dorothy Perkins or Debenhams!
Ridiculous wait for refunds, it took 4 weeks! You pay £1.99 for the pleasure of returning items, really shocking given the efficiency of the competition. I won’t be ordering again!

Still waiting for a refund after three weeks despite the company saying the refund is on the way. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

Still waiting for refunds over a month later. I’ve had to chase each and every refund with the convoluted returns process. Keep getting fobbed off by chatbots with no way of getting through to a human being to complain properly. Finally got confirmation that some of my refunds would be in my account by 11 June which is almost 6 weeks since the items were returned. Shambles of a company with no customer service. Reported to trading standards and will never ever use again. Far too stressful!

I have been waiting on a refund for 17 days DUX04066. Company doesn't respond to emails. DBZ Marketplace are responsible for issuing the refund.. I would not recommend this company.

Sent parcel back may 14th for a refund and am still waiting for information about my refund will never order from these again and wouldn't recommend anyone from buying from them very disappointed

Absolutely shocking!
Always used Dorothy Perkins as a store. Loved it as did fashionable petite clothing. Ordered from website recently and got my delivery ok but trying to return is an absolute nightmare.
Order comes from one order with all items on it but returns are via different channels all with different processes and tracking/response is next to nothing.
Been sold an item which is labelled up and advertised as one well know highend company but when ive chased the return im told its a budget low end c*** company i would never use. Contacted what I though was ‘dorothy perkins’ via their channels (messenger & whatsapp) and when Ive challenged about it and asked whats going on I AM IGNORED! They stop replying to messages and just say “reps are busy”! Its a joke. Will never be using DP again.

I have now reported to Trading Standards for misselling and trading badly on the reputation of a good name business. Wil never trust Dorothy Perkins/Debenhams again after this.

it is now June 21st…..Still no refund. Case open with Trading Standards and Bank for charge back. Had been told refund by may 30th. DO NOT USE DP or Debenhams. Same bunch of scammers macquerading as what were respectable brands.

DP received my returned items exactly 2 weeks ago. I have sent them several message over the last week asking how long my refund will take and each time I received a standard, very vague response saying my refund is being processed through their system. This is an absurd amount of time to wait for a refund, considering how quick they are to take the money when placing the order. The clothing was very cheaply made, hence why I returned. I will not be purchasing from them ever again and will certainly not be recommending.

Absolute terrible service. First of all I paid for next day delivery and none of my order arrived the next day. When querying this with them they said part of my order was coming from Quiz and Roman which isn’t next day! Why allow me to pay £6.99! Now I’m waiting for a refund for my returns. I had an email to say refund was being processed, 8 days later a still no money. Will not be using again!! Sent a message on what’s app this morning and had no reply!

Lowest quality, staff with no experience whatsoever, very poor communication

Dorothy Perkins is the front for a load differentbrand partners. So I made 1 order, it turned up in seven different sets of packaging. Then to return items you have to do them individually to each brand partner. each of whom have different ways of arranging a return. My one order led to me needing 5 methods to return the items, to different locations, It is an absolute ball ache trying to return anything on top of fact have to wait and check and ensure you see your money because that isn’t straightforward either. Definitely not worth the effort. Won’t use them again.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would! Three items were returned and no refund yet. Their customer service is atrocious and the agents simply give excuses even when tracking details are provided they still wanted receipts. Shockingly I keep those as they werent expecting this would be the case. Don't waste your time with them...quick to take money from you but slow to refund. Ridiculous!!

I would give a lower score if I could. The returns process was a joke. They intentionally don't email to confirm receipt of your items. I have chased 4 times now and they keep pushing back the date they will refund me. Current estimate 20 days following their receipt of goods. How is this acceptable. Clearly no resemblance of the old DP service.

I have returned my order, they have received it however days later no sign of my money. When I contact them they just say it's waiting to be processed. They are quick enough to take your money but reluctant to give it back and to top it off I have had to pay £1.99 for the privilege. I am currently £115 down, thanks Dorothy Perkins, never again!!!

Wrong shoes sent in two left feet! One in a suede fabric and one leather. Paid for delivery and then expected to have £1.99 deducted from refund - that I'm still waiting for 19 days later! Poor experience.
Just to add: Dorothy perkins sent me an email asking for a review on the shoes purchased. However the feedback was exactly what I have just written here, couldn't be published but thanked me for my sharing my thoughts!

If I could give it zero I would . Loads of people complaining their items have gone missing including mine. Customer service is shocking . I had to get my bank on the case to get my money back. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Terrible company, hardly existent customer service. Just receiving auto replies with my item delivery date being pushed back. I have emailed and received many auto replies, I received a couple of replies saying someone would come back within 48 hours, nothing, I had to give my order details over and over, as each time someone did come through they’d obviously not seen my previous grievances. My item was due to be delivered on the 13th January, they said that was the due delivery date as I’d chosen super saver, (auto response) I didn’t know weekends don’t count, so I left it, got no delivery, then next day I asked where it was and why I hadn’t even received a dispatched email, got another auto response saying it’s in process and due on the 14th, TELLING ME to wait. No parcel arrived, I am going back and two, round the houses, getting no satisfactory responses.. it’s now the 15th, no delivery, had a reply again on messenger, then nothing after that, no response to my emails and still no delivery!!! So tomorrow the 16th January I will message again, probably to NO avail, no one is helping me, it’s useless! It’s only a coat in the sale, but now it’s the principle, The worse customer service ever!
I told them I was coming on here, nothing! Not a care! One positive I hope, is I used Klarna, because then at least they have paused any further payments whilst they investigate… I doubt they’ll get far! Dorothy Perkins you are disgraceful, look out for a seller called DBZ Marketplace… that’s who it we ordered from, stay off Debenhams, or check out the seller first!!

You aren’t ordering for Dorothy Perkins but loads of separate stores. All the items I ordered were delivered from different place and now I have to pay for each return separately even though the items were all ordered under the same order number. I will never order from this company again.

If I could have given it a 0 I would have..I wish I had read on here first all these comments.ive ordered 2 tops and paid for next day delivery yesterday afternoon,it was I the cut off time threshold to be delivered today.ive had an email now to say that dpd hasn't recieved the top another you I've ordered with them is from a third seller marketplace which they didn't say anything whilst I was checking out and paying.im absolutely fuming there's no way to actually speak to someone the only person I can speak to is through Facebook messenger but it's the same reply all the time.i needed these items by today hence the reason I ordered them and payed for next day delivery..I wil never ever order from dp ever again.still don't kniw when my order will be delivered,waited in all day for them too.they treat customers awfull.

slow returns even slower to give you your money back. Such a shame used to be a reliable company now it feels like a company that’s going under and don’t want to give you your money back

I used to love this brand: they have nice clothes and a line for tall women. However, after COVID at least in Manchester there are not anymore physical shops and DP sends their parcels via Evri - which means that most of the time are not delivered. I contacted DP asking to investigate my parcel (out for delivery with Evri for the past 12 days) and they have been the most unhelpful retailer. Same approach as the evri chatbox.
