Slow refund process
It took over 3 weeks to get my money refunded back after I returned the goods, had to raise a PayPal dispute. Not good service for online shopping, never had this problem with online shopping with other retailers such as M&S, Next and Monsoon. I even signed up for limited next day deliveries for £6.99 and you would think the returns service for this would be much quicker. It puts me off ordering again with DP. Also their stock levels must always be low if its taking them ages to deal with returned items. No telephone service or online chat to communicate with them.

Do not use this company as wait a long while for a refund.
As other customers have mentioned money is taken from your bank account as soon as you place an order but when you return goods you have to wait 14 days or more from them actually acknowledging receiving your parcel back and then you wait longer for your refund.
Terrible customer service.

Monies is taken immediately from your bank account when the order is placed, then when you return items you have to wait 15 days for the monies!! Will not be placing any more orders….

ISSUE WITH RETURNS
Recently returned DAMAGED trousers, according to website return should be free but they deducted this from the final bill, opened a paypal case to get the money back. Will never use again.

Dorothy Perkins contacted within a day of writing this review and I finally seem to be getting the help I need. Whilst I welcome their quick response, this could have easily been avoided had I been able to speak to someone on the phone, but sadly they no longer offer this service
