A bunch of fraudsters.

They'll take your money, send you shipping e-mails and give you false hopes of when you delivery will be due... but you'll never receive your goods. Then you'll not be able to get in touch with them to discuss this either because they've closed their phone lines and don't respond via the online chat or emails.

A company that has been created to take advantage of individuals during an international pandemic.

I ordered my weights 3 weeks ago cancelled when something didn’t seem right and was told I would get a refund. Well 2 weeks later numerous emails and still no reply. If you have used these and not got a response please contact action fraud and set up a case this will also help the many other of us struggling to get a refund for goods that never existed.
I’ve contacted my bank too who have opened a case for me.

Also check who your payment went to my guess it wasn’t fitnessup as all payments seem to be to different companies. The phone number on there website isn’t there’s either

What an awful company. Dishonest and the worst customer service possible. STAY CLEAR
I ordered an item in good faith, even paid for express delivery. I received an email saying my order has been received, 5 days later I got another email saying my order was on its way! I waited 3 days and still nothing so I contacted the company who said it was arriving on Monday at 11am- great news. Tuesday morning and still nothing so I contacted via their website chat- nothing no reply. I sent an email so was simply told they were out of stock. No apology or anything (the email was shocking). Yet you can still go on the website and order the same item. So it was clear from the moment I clicked order I was lied to by this company. I was even given a time and day the item would arrive- but they knew it was never going to be delivered. If a company our this happy to lie and treat customers so badly I dread to think what else they are happy to do. As for a refund- well let’s see how long that battle takes. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

Woeful. I get that this is an extraordinary time, but I made an enquiry and was told the item was in stock. I purchased said item. I was given a confirmation. A couple of days later I enquired about the delivery date and was given a four day window. After that window had closed, I asked for an update only to be told that the item was not in stock and I would be refunded. Still waiting.

I’m sure that in normal Times, they’re spot on. Not so much on this occasion though.

Company is a scam and reported to trading standards along with other authorities and their other companies.

Item still hasn't arrived and no communication at all!!

UPDATE - I have now received a full refund from fitnessup. I received no correspondence in relation to this but saw it on my bank statement. If you have not received your goods, it looks as though there may be some hope.
I’m afraid I’ve also fallen for a similar trap to others on here.
I placed an order for some dumbbells (£150) a number of weeks ago and something about this company did not ring true from the start.
Initial delivery time was a few days, when this slipped I was not concerned due to the current circumstances.
I managed to get in touch with the online chat facility who advised me the order was on its way... however this date is long past and I now cannot get in touch with them.

I have emailed three times requesting a refund and have heard nothing back. Phone line now disconnected.

I have now opened a case with Action Fraud in relation to this. I suggest anyone who is a victim of this does the same.

Not sure if these guys are incompetent, stupid,scammers or combination of all 3; terrible customer service, no replies, did not cancel order in spite of asking within minutes of placing order;then told order is in its way, no tracking info whatsoever; bank says I have to go thru whole process to claim back money;everytime I email or DM them, I get no
reply. Much better to get your equipment from DECATHLON
Then fitnessup.co.uk has my review investigated; I am a genuine customer, I have the transaction to
'STRIP CURTAINS' to prove it. That is the parent company's name. UPDATE: after 3 wks, a refund was made to my cc, I made a lot of noise

Received a shipping confirmation after 4 days only to be told every 2 days that the delivery would be arriving in a few days, for 2 weeks before then being told that my order was out of stock. Extraordinary poor service and will take 7 days for a refund. Also seems the phone number on the website is disconnected or incorrect as can never get through

No order confirmation, live chat advised of delivery date. No items delivered, requested refund which has not been received. Now not answering live chat. Not looking promising

I made a purchase and one week later received a dispatch email saying my goods were on their way. Another week goes by and no delivery arrives and when I follow up I am told that they are actually out of stock and will refund in 5-7 working days. That is almost 3 weeks they have sat with my money without the decency to update me that they couldn't deliver on what they had sold me. Only resolved when I had to chase them up. Unacceptable! And when I look at their website, the item I bought is still showing as available to purchase. So some other poor sucker will go through the same thing.

Still no refund received and they are not responding to emails. Nothing but scammers. Avoid!!

The worst service I have ever known.

I ordered some dumbells having been messed around by another company previously.

Before placing my order I asked if they were definitely in stock and I received an email back within second saying yes order now and I will receive them in 4 days.

3 weeks later after being told every couple of days that I would receive them at the end of the week including a very specific time slot (you will receive your items Monday at 11) still no dumbells.

I then emailed AGAIN asking for an honest update as I’m a key worker (NHS) and didn’t want to miss my delivery slot to which I just got a reply saying “ We are currently out of stock. And are refunding your amount back to your card. You will receive your refund in 5-7 working days“.

I would never recommend this company. Absolutely disgusting service. Taking people’s money (whist charging over double of what is the usual price pre COVID) and not having items in stock.

Still waiting on my refund too.

Not long after this I got a text message that my order has been shipped.. I was happy even though the order link they have provided when I bought the items to track the status of my order still said nothing about it...

I sent them an email chasing my items, they replied

So first they lied that it has been shipped, then they lied that it will arrive the next day... and THEN... turned out they dont even have it on stock...

I have read a lot of negative reviews recently about the company. All I can do is give an account of my experience. I ordered a Rep Set on the 27th March, just as lockdown started. Payment went through no problem and I received email notification. I sent an enquiry email regarding timescales and after few days I received an email which advised of the increased timescales for delivery. Looking on the company website, they had had a massive increases in order volume so lead times were increased (understandably).

I received another email with an update about a week later, and then a notification of delivery shortly after. This occurred 2 weeks after ordering on the 10th of April and was done exactly on time by the companies own staff with no fuss or problems.

Reading through some of the reviews people have left, it seems that many of them are grossly unfair. Expecting next day delivery and instantaneous responses to emails at this time is simply ludicrous, but it seems that many people still expect companies to treat them as if the customers are the only people who matter!

Spoke to people and been promised different slots and times but the weights have not arrived ,theres no way of tracking order ?

They sell products they don’t have available, tell you they are on their way when they are not and then after chasing many times send a blunt email saying they are refunding you. No apology, no stock and as yet no refund. A very new company and possibly fraudulent. Reported to credit card company in case others flag the same issues.

It’s probably quite obvious but the majority of five star reviews on here are fake - literally addressing complaints made by others, as if a customer would go to such a length to defend the company. Plus the fake names and profile pictures which you can reverse google image search.

The reply below is something they send to everyone. They claim the product is out of stock yet are still selling it on their website. At best they are complete amateurs but more likely frauds. You can report them to the insolvency service (as I have done) who can investigate and shut them down.

Beware scam

We ordered on the 21/04. Received a confirmation email and then a dispatched email a couple of days later. On the dispatched email it said to track your order but there was no way to track. We asked customer services who said it would arrive at 11 on Monday. Our order never arrived so we tried to contact customer services. We had no response on the online chat, via email or via the their phone number. The phone number isn’t even a live line!

In Covid time I needed to order online and the system worked very efficiently the drivers texted when they were coming and were very polite and knowledable.

My recommendation is based on personal experience during a very difficult time: The Coronavirus lockdown in Birmingham. I was desperate for an aerobic workout as I'm a physically fit asthmatic who must strenuously workout my lungs 4 times a week. I do it at my gym on an elliptical. Like everyone else, I couldn't go to a gym (and won't until there is a vaccine). Turned out my ceiling was too low for an elliptical. But Marty at Fitness Up made the recommendation of a reclining ellipitcal and his reasoning made perfect sense to me. He answered all my questions over a two-day period. Still, I wasn't sure this would be more right for me versus a bike, but I decided to make a leap of faith and take his advice. And it paid off. The very serious machine I purchased is a joy to use. I love it. Marty knows what he is talking about, for sure. I'm forever grateful.
