Spotless results

I needed an urgent same day end of tenancy cleaning service, so called in early in the morning and got the team before 12:00 noon. The service was excellent and Ash, the team leader, was very kind professionl.

Booked for end of tenancy clean
Booked for end of tenancy clean, extremely poor result, smeared stainless steel on kitchen appliances, streak marks on kitchen cupboards, smeared glass shower screen and limescale streaks to shower wall panels, sticky floor throughout from products used.
I have given 2 stars as it somehow passed the inventory inspection however I would have been very unhappy moving in to a property in that state

That said, we do take your comments seriously. Streak marks, smears, and product residue are not the finish we aim to leave, and we will be reviewing this internally with the team who attended.

Cleaners came 2hrs late and only…
Cleaners came 2hrs late and only notified me 30mins after they were due to arrive that they were running late.
Their tools were dirty (eg the mop was filthy)
They broke stuff and blamed me (eg the draft excluder got knocked off the door as they came in and out and they said it was a landlord issue to fix and refused to accept they caused the issue.)
They failed to follow instructions..I paid extra for them to move the furniture but they didnt.
Would I trust them again ? hell no.
Edited to provide below after fresher starts response.
Their response is a lie amd deceiving.
Of course the before and after pic shows no damage given that I spent over 10mins highlighting the issue and the guy trying to gaslight me.
The mop was filthy and see better days.
They did the bare minimum.
I want my money back where I paid extra for the furniture move. There was no danger in moving furniture...so again another lie.
They did nothing and since they arrived late after 4pm the other tenants were inconvenienced and they rushed to exit...not finish but to exit.
Do not use this company.

Regarding the furniture, this is moved where it is safe and practical for the team to do so. This depends on whether the item can be moved safely, whether there is any risk of damage to the furniture or flooring, and whether the team is physically able to move it.
We would also like to clarify that our teams do not use filthy cleaning equipment. Items such as mops and cloths are cleaned or replaced before each new clean.
In relation to the damage mentioned, the before and after photographs we hold do not show any damage caused to the property during the clean.
We are sorry that you feel disappointed, and we will take your comments on board as part of our internal review.
I have used Fresher Start for End of…
I have used Fresher Start for End of Tenancy Cleaning twice now and both times was extremely pleased with the result. I have pets so require extra work (including steam cleaning carpets). Both times the flat was left spotless. You wouldn't know the oven had ever been used (and I cook a lot), the shower glass was spotless and there was not a sign of pets having lived in the property. Also excellent customer service - efficient and nice to deal with. Highly recommend!

Charged, No Re-Clean
Update 2:
The company continues to repeatedly flag this review in bad faith in an attempt to have it removed.
Everything I have written is factual and supported by evidence, including our email correspondence and proof of payment. The company failed to clean as agreed, charged me for the service, and did not carry out the promised re-clean.
Update 1: Fresher Start Ltd flagged my review as defamatory the same day I submitted this review, lol. I have all the email chains and the fact that I was charged after their service. My apartment had not rejected reclean and the cleaning company already rejected reclean by saying “we’re unfortunately unable to offer a re-clean under our service guarantee.” They even asked me to buy a new clean service from them to correct the unsuccessful cleaning that leads to my cleaning charge.
Original: I had pre-cleaned everything and have photos of every part of my apartment as proof. They failed to do the job. There was a visibly unclean toilet, and my apartment still charged me a cleaning fee.
They pretended to offer re-cleaning but failed to communicate with the apartment about available time slots. In the end, they found a reason to refuse the re-cleaning, even though they still had a chance to arrange it.
Their staff threatened to charge me for parking tickets when they had failed to notify me about the number plate requirement. I helped them at the last minute with on-site parking, but it was completely unprofessional (I have emails with landlords to prove this so this is not defamatory as flagged).

Unprofessional End of Tenancy cleaning
I booked this company for an End of Tenancy cleaning and was very disappointed with the results. The cleaning was far from professional. Although they claim to provide a professional deep cleaning service, it turned out they only clean on the surface. The bathroom was poorly done, where dirt remained on the water tap and under the toilet rims, and the floor was still dirty.
I asked for a partial refund because the work was clearly incomplete, but my request was rejected. They only offered a revisit, which isn’t practical for an End of Tenancy clean since I could only find out about the missed areas after receiving the check-out inspection report.
Overall, I cannot recommend this company due to its poor quality of service, superficial cleaning, and unwillingness to address genuine customer complaints.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to see this, however we feel it’s important to clarify the facts for transparency.
Your property was cleaned to a professional standard, and most importantly, your deposit was returned following checkout. This clearly reflects that the cleaning met the required standard overall.
The concern raised relates to a very small, concealed area inside the toilet rim. This is not a visible surface during a standard clean and would only be identified through very close inspection. It was treated during the clean, and any remaining marks are consistent with ingrained staining rather than a lack of cleaning.
You requested a refund despite the successful outcome of your tenancy checkout. As outlined in our terms, services are non-refundable once completed. We did, however, offer a re-clean in line with our policy to address any concerns, which was declined.
We also note that the same review has been submitted more than once, which does not present a fair or balanced reflection of the service provided.
We take pride in our work and always aim to resolve matters reasonably. However, requesting a refund after a successful deposit return does not align with the purpose of an end of tenancy cleaning service.
