I am 4 days post op & feeling great! The process was really smooth & easy. Once I landed the transport service picked myself and my support person up. From there we were taken to hospital. Did a few pre op tests in the arvo and then some the following morning. Got the all clear from the tests and went to surgery around 11:30am. It felt really fast and my recovery was really good and fast. Senem & Sadek were the best! The cleaners and the nurses were all so lovely. 100% recommend Galya if you are needing anything done 🥰

From arriving in Istanbul itself from New Zealand to arriving at the hospital and all the pre op tests done was just phenomenal !!! Surgery went smooth! Post op was an absolute dream ! Translaters and the owner Senem are just absolutely amazing humans only a txt or phone call away and always checking in on you !

I didn't meet Senem till surgery day but I had Sedak from the time I arrived to the time I left, our poor Senem was really busy through out the days I was there but she always found time to visit myself and my daughter.
The surgery team was so amazing and everyone that was involved with my recovery as they kept myself and daughter well informed on anything they came across to do with my wellbeing.

When I decided i wanted the surgery I communicated with Semen at Galya health. She was so helpful in booking and arranging everything from surgery to the hotel accommodation once discharged. When I arrived at the hospital i was greeted by Senem who handed me over to Sedak. This guy is amazing at his job. He’s easy to talk and joke with and just gives you peace of mind that you’re going to be in good hands. He was with me through the pre op process and visited me the following days after surgery, checking in to see how I was going. Honestly the whole team Senem, Sedak, the surgeons, nurses, cleaners all genuinely care and are so lovely. The care was above and beyond anything I’ve received in NZ. What an amazing experience. Senem started looking after me before I even left New Zealand, with everything and anything I needed and followed me all the way over to Turkey, once I arrived I was greeted by Sedak, he was just amazing, taking me to all my appointments and was by my side with love and support every step of the way.

We went over to Turkey as a group of 5, all getting different surgeries done. I highly recommend Galyal Health. We were taken care of prior to coming to Turkey, during and after. Specifically by Senam who coordinated everything we needed, from airport transfers to hospital transfers and hotel stays. Sedak also cared for us while in hospital and went the extra mile on our discharge day by ensuring we had the appropriate Kai to take back to our hotel. Senam and Sedak were both our translators and worked really well together. The surgeons and nurses were thorough, professional and experts in their field. I would definitely go back 😊

I had Gastric Bypass Surgery on 14 April 2025. I am impressed by the ease of communication and professionalism from the booking process to post operatively. I live in New Zealand and have undergraduate physiological and pharmacology knowledge. You can absolutely trust Gayla Health to care for you, the pre operative tests are for your safety and theirs. They use sterile techniques reducing the effect of infections, and good quality IV medications and fluids. For good results follow their instructions, they have many years of specialist medical practice and patient experience. Just take your money and your clothes, you’ll be out of bed and able to shop and enjoy the sights of Istanbul within 3 Days so don’t rush home.
