Helpful with integrating a new cat just Rescued/Adopted into a family with two others..an ex barn cat 14 years and the boss neutered male..had for 14 years..and a tripod with no tail..neutered.. jealous and territorial 7 years..had for five years..New guy 2+ years a friendly stray just neutered..lots of standoffs and nasty wrestling matches..no fun..collars helped somewhat but we had to also use plug in pheromones and jars with pheromone beads..lots of different products in different areas of the home but all has calmed down thankfully ..collars were a great part of the peace and quiet

I purchased the GentlePaws Cat Calming Collar hoping it would help reduce stress and tension among my cats. Unfortunately, after trying several collars, I did not notice any significant improvement in their behaviour.
However, I would like to compliment the customer service team. They responded promptly to my refund request, explained their policy clearly, and offered a reasonable solution for the unopened products without requiring me to incur return shipping costs.
While the product itself was not effective for my cats, I appreciate the professional and courteous support provided by the customer service team.
Overall, my experience with the product was mixed, but my experience with customer service was positive.

We have 3 cats
We have 3 cats. Two of which accepted the collar, and for one particularly, it has been a great benefit. The other, not so much, but a little. The third cat, however did not tolerate the collar at all. Constantly trying to remove it, and in the end, he'd pulled it so tight it was giving him a rash and painful area on his neck. This in the space of two days. He doesn't have the collar now; his neck healed quickly and he continues to be a painful younger brother, teasing his sister when he's in the mood.

It worked!
The pheromone calming collar worked really well on my two feral male cats that fought like crazy. I did have them neutered, but it didn't seem to stop the fight response. These collars did the trick. I tried another less expensive option that did nothing, but I could really tell the difference with these. I've ordered more already.

Refund? Sure. You will never hear from us again.
I bought the calming cat collar from them but my cats reacted badly to it, seems to be some kind of allergy. Naturally, I wanted to send the remaining collars back and at first they were really helpful and replied immediately. They wanted me to confirm the return and the quantity of the remaining collars, which I did. And then suddenly - nothing. No answer, no return details, no response after further inquiries.
So this is a strong: do not buy!! advice.

Waste of money, useless product.
1) Annoying that even though the cart was in my local currency of AUD$, I was charged a foreign transaction fee on my credit card purchase. If I'd known it was in foreign currency, I would've used PayPal instead to avoid the card fee.
2) Item ships from China, annoying as this is not mentioned anywhere. Expensive item for just another cheap Chinese product like all the others on Ebay.
3) Shipping takes so long that half the time of the 30 day guarantee is used up before you even get the item so it doesn't give you long enough to give a reasonable test.
4) Smell of the essential oils in the item is so offensive I couldn't get close to my cat while he was wearing it. I find it very hard to believe there is no lavender as the product reeks of it.
5) Tried for 30 days as recommended and made no difference to my cat behaviour whatsoever; waste of money.

The collar has definitely reduced my cat's anxiety
The collar has definitely reduced my cat's anxiety and inappropriate toileting habits since I started using it a month or so ago. It has a positive effect on her about 80-90% of the time, which is alot more than I could've hoped for. I've tried feliway and therapetMD plug ins and sprays as well as various calming supplements but nothing has worked. I'm pretty happy with the collar results.

Has helped a lot!
The calming collar has helped my boy greatly. He seems a lot calmer & no urinary issues for 2 months. He is nice and chilled out with my other two cats.
He was twitchy & highly strung before, now he seems much calmer and relaxed.
It lasted about 25 days, hope that is normal for the collars. Would recommend!

I bought them for my moms cat. Since she moved into a memory care home the cat has been peeing everywhere. I put this collar on him and it stopped. I do have to give him a new one every month. Works GREAT!

I purchased calming collars for my male cats marking through my home. It’s been about 2-3 weeks. I watched one of them spray on the wall in the last couple days and found feces at another spot. I don’t recommend.

Great product with minor downside
I think this is a great product for a restless cat that is driving her humans and other pets crazy. I was really kind of at my wits end. It was so strong it "stunned" (stoned) my cat on first application. Then it lasted about three weeks, not four.

I was skeptical but, it does seem to be working on my bully cat. She is less aggressive. I have 13 cats and they all get along, but this one cat has one cat she is brutal to. It helps. I do have some spraying issues, but that hasn’t changed. Just grateful for less fighting.
