Thanks to Getamover we got several budgets in two days, just in time for our move.
Everything was fine thanks to this service.

To start with I had offers but requesting a lot of money I was not prepared to pay for. In the end I managed to get a much lower price and the service was fantastic from beginning to end.

I had no experience or knowledge and this site gave me quick links and quotes from a variety of local companies. They were much better value than anticipated and the service proved good.

Through getamover I was offered a choice of companies and found a very professional company that I was very happy with.

I contacted Getamover to quickly identify a removals firm available to move my daughter's belongings from one house to another at very short notice. A company was highlighted and I was able to read their reviews posted on Getamover. I contacted the company directly and they were extremely helpful. Easy to find multiple companies to give me a quote for what I needed.

Crap lead generation company. Avoid.

Asked few times a quote, never got back to me. After more than a month, I've received a feedback request and status update of my move.

Service allowed me to get 3 quotes from different companies. Very useful when navigating in a field of which I don't know much about.

VETTING PROCESS IS A LIE, SCAM REMOVAL COMPANIES ACTIVE.
If I could give 0 stars I would. As per the below review, we too were scammed by DX Removals which apparently are a vetted company by getamover.co.uk. Paid our invoice and they didn’t show up. Thank goodness that Trunk Logistics came to our aid 2 hours later. They are not registered on company’s house, their “office” addresses are fake and do not answer calls as soon as they have your money. What makes “Stefan” even more of unemployed troll is that he knew I was pregnant and couldn’t complete the move by myself. Getamover have not yet responded to my complaint which makes them just as complicit - stick with checkatrade.

BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS , Getamover recommended me a company called DX Removals which was a completely Scam . Dx removal took my payment and never collected my belongings. I spent the double in emergency expenses on the day of the removal to keep my stuff safe and have time to get
a new removal service. It has been almost 4 months and I have not been refunded and received compensation for this failure . I have not received any support or assistance from getamover so far to recover funds . They just apologized , removed the company from their data base . I do not understand why this company says they work with top, trusted, reliable companies if they do not check if companies are properly registered in the BAR association and relevant authorities and they cannot actually find anyone at this company themselves . The address seems not to even exist and it is impossible to get hold of this removal company . They have basically disappeared. This has been the most stressful experience of my life when moving homes.
I must at I have reported to authorities both companies .So I recommend not to use these two companies at all

There quote system is bad, they ask you to give details then they send your details to different companies which later spam you! Don't enter your details on their website, not GDPR compliant..

We moved house during the COVID 19 pandemic in May 2020 which left us to find a suitable removal company that were prepared to move us. My husband found Waters removals from Stafford and are now part of Getamover. Very dependable and even enabled us to leave them at one point in our home. An extra journey was no problem, courteous, professional, respectful of belongings. We recommended them to a friend who also very happy with their service. Thank you Olly - Roy Pinxton

The site is very easy to use. I received several quotes from local companies with availability on my moving date. I chose the cheapest and the most local to me. Very happy with my choice. The move went effortlessly. Thank you.

They referred me to AnQ movers which was a scam.

We were due to move during April, and then, having taken a deposit, they cancelled on the day and referred us to a sister company which charged us more. I dealt with Tony.

They have not given the deposit back. They are not picking up the phone and they are not returning emails.

I have reported to trading standards as a scam.

They have on their website a set of reviews, but the review website is also, I suspect, fake. If you register to leave a review, you can’t register.

Don’t trust this website - they don’t bet companies properly.

I used Getamover.com to find a removal company. They suggested Royale Removals. I chose the firm because it was local and provided a competitive quote... Royale scam would be a more appropriate name. The company has now ceased trading. They charged me more than twice the quote they provided, they damaged many of my artworks, crushed lamp shades, some pieces of furniture have even gone missing. They made me pay for storage costs twice and threatened to dispose of my items if I did not agree to pay. It was horrendously stressful. When I contacted Getamover.com to help mediate this disastrous situation, they assured me that Royale Removals had been a long standing customer, they had never had any complaints about their service... Unfortunately, officially Royale Removals no longer exist so I can't sue them for breach of contract. That was a very sobering experience, using an online search site, relying on customer reviews and the company's website to make the worst decision I ever made and be left a few thousand pounds out of pocket.

Rating as a moving company. We`v signed up with getamover for a trial period which then led to a full membership. Site is charging £10 per lead sent to a registered mover. They link 3 companies with every lead requested by a customer. You cant put your account on stand-by when no dates available and will be flooded with mostly irrelevant leads you`ll have no control over. You can reduce the amount of leads received to 10 a month at £120/month which is way more than a professional membership with professional platforms where you will hold control over orders flow. There is no control over irrelevant leads received and you`ll have to contact admins requesting refunds for every single misfired lead - annoying as that should have been allowed by bid refusal option which wasnt provided. Been with them for a period of 6 weeks and failed to secure ONE SINGLE job. Spent too much time mailing them to reimburse for incompatible leads received. Seen same requests on diferent platforms as customers are searching for options widely using all possible resources online - so why using Getamover ? From my 12 years of experience point of view with diferent bidding, quoting platforms - NO POINT ! This undeveloped site will charge you a lot of money for a ONE WAY service. Spoke to the owner over the phone recently and highlighted the loops in the system and been told - sorry this is the way it is designed. And it is designed to act as a middle man to get as much as possible off your hard earned money. Avoid
