Chip takes the mystery out of investing by being very easy to use, with lots of easy to understand options for people not used to investing, a good range of products and helpful/quick chatline. Makes investing less scary!

AVOID THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY. They lie and hold on to your money, claiming it's the process, its not it's them profiteering from your money. The very poor customer service, when they eventually reply they avoid answering the questions and tell you they are busier than normal ... I wonder why!! .... as a customer I'm not interested in how busy they are, employ more people instead of making excuses!!!

It's now 5 days since my previous isa provider sent the money to Chip, no sign of it in my account but I shouldn't worry!!

Re their response, I raised a complaint and they just fo fobbed me of with that as well. Be aware they will use the "it can take up to 15 working days to conclude" if it does you will be losing interest on your savings!!

Other providers take 1-3 days, often less than 3, do your research before you sign up with Chip!!

The level of response and ease of contacting customer service instills consistent confidence in this company. Expecially when one has a portion of life savings with them and looks to grow theor experience with stocks and shares. A good example of modern online banking. Keep up the good work.

Really helpful clear guidance with an easy to use service.

If you try to transfer out your Chip's Cash ISA, they warn you:

"If you choose to start an ISA transfer from your Smart Cash ISA to move your funds away from Chip this will automatically close the account and you will not be paid any interest that has accrued but not yet been paid."

Chip applies an exit fee or keeps your interest hostage - either way, it's outrageous!

Great service and quick to follow up.

In my personal experience, the contact staff go above & beyond to get to the bottom of any query.
They even helped me to overcome a problem that was not even caused by Chip. It was due to changes with how my linked account accepts payment/deposit information.
The Chip staff gave me a full & detailed explanation of what the cause was & how I could overcome it.
Amazing customer service.

I have found the CHIP app really easy to use, even for a technophobe like me! I’ve managed to invest and withdraw and reinvest monies with ease. Upon contacting Customer services they responded by the next working day which was great to know they were there if needed, even though I did manage to navigate the app and do what I wanted to do before that point.

Unable to access my account, I contacted Chip by email who replied very swiftly, explaining it was a technical problem. Within a short time, I was told that this had been rectified. I am very impressed by the speed of the acknowledgement and information given, and the professional and friendly staff.

I just have to make another review because the company deserves it. They go an extra mile to manually create a letter for me to help my son's requirements to university. Thank you.

Top service. Fast and clear. Easy to resolve

I had high hopes for CHIP, rates were good and my Prize savings account received a few fivers.
Then, wham, my husband's ISA reduced to paltry sum (1.02% from 4.5%). Tried to transfer and they made it as difficult as they possibly could. I have now put that in the hands of Santander (very good consistent company).
I would advise anyone to steer clear. I am also taking out my money from their prize savings and so is my husband.

** Update below**
Following a recommendation by MSE I opened a Cash ISA account with the intention to transfer my ISA over from Trading 212 only to discover they’re not recognised by Chip for transfers!
Complete waste of time.
Pull your socks up Chip, you should have this as a clear disclosure even before opening an account.
I’ll also be flagging to MSE.
**UPDATE** Changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars as Chip now accept transfers from Trading 212 and provided a clear easy-to-follow process to complete that process.

Avoid, avoid, avoid, at all costs !!!
The app is dreadful, the customer service is worse than dreadful. They simply do not want to let go of your money. They reduced the rate of my ISA to just over 1% then tried to push towards their other ISA products that had an awful return.
After selecting another provider and trying to transfer out it's almost impossible.
Do not give them your money, they do not want to let it leave them, ever!
You have been warned !!

Very responsive customer service. I recently lost access to my account and the support I received was top notch.
